Dear Community! We are creating an IFS Applications 10 horizontal cluster consisting of 4 servers.ifsapp01, ifsapp02, ifsapp03 and ifsapp04We are able to create the cluster.zip on the master node, transferring it to the other nodes and install it there properly. The next step is to add HttpServer, MainServer and IntServer on the Admin console. All works, except for the HttpServer for server ifsapp03. We get this errorcom.ifsworld.adminconsole.util.JythonScriptExecutor$JSEScriptExceptionCreation of HttpServer3 part 1 Creation of HttpServer3 part 2Creation of HttpServer3 part 3Creation of HttpServer3 part 4After this, the configuration of the weblogic server is locked for edit and we have to login to the weblogic console to solve this by reverting (or applying) changes.Weblogic consoleThen, we can work on the admin console without issues again. The only thing we could find is the followingTranslated the messages as they are in german by default/ifs/extIPROD10/wls_domain/IPROD10/servers/

Hi experts,One of our customers has an issue of Request Contacts getting copied to connected tasks in doubles. This happens only when adding a New contact under the 'Contacts' tab of 'Request' screen by using the 'New' button. Issue doesn't occur when adding a contact by using the 'Select' button. Issue occurs in both custom screens and in the baseline screens of customer’s environment. There are no relevant Business Rules or Client Scripts to be found. “Watch All” doesn’t trigger anything. Couldn’t find anything related to this by manually going through all rules and scripts. Server logs indicate 2 entries that have inserted same contact to task_contact. When TASK_CONTACT_COPY app param is set to N, duplication does not occur; only one entry is copied. (But Contacts added using Select button doesn’t get copied to the Task, as expected). Requesting your expert ideas on what could be the root cause for this.Dulshan

When setting up Repositories to shared network locations, can multiple Document Classes be stored in the same path?Repositiory ID = CSCDocument Classes 1,2 & 3 all go to the same network folder path.

Hi all,Following app params are set:QUOTE_ACCEPT_PART_ACTION_DEFAULT = CREATE_PART_NEEDCREATE_STOCK_IN_QUOTE_ACCEPT = Y And the particular part that needs to be used in this scenario has “Adjust Stock” unchecked in Parts screen:Even though “Adjust Stock” is unchecked, a stock record is automatically created when accepting a quote having this part.If QUOTE_ACCEPT_PART_ACTION_DEFAULT = CREATE_PART_USAGE, a stock record is not automatically created (if “Adjust Stock” is unchecked). So my question is, is there a functional requirement to have a stock record if a Part is to be added as a ‘Part Need’ ?Cannot we quote for a part, by having it entered as a Part Need on quote acceptance AND without a stock record getting created? Also, an error pops up if I manually enter a ‘Part Need’ if the Part does not have a stock record. Thanks in advance,Dulshan.

HiAre there a Maintenix Reference Guide available for download for an IFS customer?Best RegardsMagnus Fredriksson

In Aurena, It is noticed that when we change the maximum number of rows for business reports there is a note stating “Max number of rows that by default will be retrieved in a data set during report execution. Should only be modified of there is a need to retrieve large data sets, which might affect performance and lead to memory issues” <see the attachment>Could you please let me know whether there is any limitation in Aurena when retrieving large data sets using Business Reports ?Your feedback and recommendations on this is highly appreciated.

Hi Community,This is for IFS 9 Enterprise Explorer  Currently on the manual supplier invoice screen, when copying unmatched PO receipts from a referenced PO, users are able to manually override a tolerance check while matching PO receipts per line (please see the attached image). We would like to disable this functionality, and abort the process once the tolerance has been exceeded. We don’t want the user to be able to save the supplier invoice at all once the tolerance has been exceeded. Is there any way to anyones knowledge that we can accomplish this? We were considering creating a custom event to check the tolerance again at the time of the manual supplier invoice creation, but if we could do something at the point this pop up appears that would be preferable. Any other suggestions to solve this issue are also welcome. Thank you

Hi Community,We have Inter-Purchase Direct transaction which is supplied by a Shop Order. This is giving a cost issue when Direct Delivery is registered - below error comes. Also, we see a Discarded status Incoming Delivery Notification (DIRDEL) for this exact PO line. The same PO has some other lines with Invent Order Supply code and they have registered without any issue and Incoming Delivery Notification is Approved status.Does any one know how to troubleshoot this?I tried to check in EDI message handling and I do not see a column for COST in there. So, how Cost from Supply site is taken to Demand Site? And our Internal Orders are with 0.01 Prices. ThanksGayan

Hi,Would like to get ideas on how Maintenix users in Organisations handle inventory with calendar based on-wing tasks that go overdue whilst on shelf.I believe this would affect any organisation using Maintenix for components with/without a supply solution. When inventory has an overdue task, a Maintenix job changes the status REPREQ. The supply department would suspect the inventory requires repair, (in our business requires back-office review for each part to consider) The inventory cannot be issued or electronically fitted by the maintenance repair organisation without this back office support to clear or overrun the task. The maintenance repair organisation maybe now subject extra work without notification, this is depending on how your business handles overdue tasks. In our business we need to have the units RFI. Therefore back-office support is always required.Explored options such as;Baseline Create on Install, suits a limited range of tasks due to complaince.DANI - Do at next i

Hi For the last 3 years I have looked after creating and modifying permission sets. We have 4 non-Prod environments and 1 Prod environment. All are at the same IFS version which is:Mods are always done on one of the non-prod instances. Once tested and approved, they are imported into PROD (after making a backup export of the existing PROD permission)I have never had any issues importing until the last month or two. A successful import now is hit and miss. More often than not, I am getting this error:I am logged in with my own login id with IFS_Full permission. Nothing on that side has changed. Typically, if I try importing the original permission back in, it works. Then if I try the modified version again, it will work. But today I was not able to import the previous version,, got the same error. I logged in as IFSAPP, got the same error. I shut everything down, restarted my computer and was able to import the original as IFSAPP.Any ideas what might be causing this or what I could check

Dears, can you please suggest me ho wto reopen closed accounting period because we have some pending entries for 2020 we need to entry .

Hi,My company is looking to open an office in China. A couple of questions have being raised and we are looking for answers to the following:Is there a Chinese Version? What are the key preparation for any venture into China? We are currently using App9 of the software. RegardsJohn

When the status of a parent work order is changed there is a prompt to change the status of all the child work orders. Is it possible to update other data on the parent work order that could then be applied to the child work orders as well? For example, if you enter an Actual Finish Date on the parent work order, is there a way for that date to be populated on the child work orders?

Hi Community, I have a work order that is failing to close out due to this error: The Planned Date is not a valid working day according to the Calendar specified for Revision 2 of PM Action... The Planned Date is May 25, which is Memorial Day, but I can’t change it. And I’m not sure why the Maintenance Plan would have planned it for that day in the first place. In any case, thoughts on how to get around this?

Hey, is there any administration documentation for TouchApps TimeTracker 2.1.10 for Apps9 for setup within IFS? I’m looking for information on the Admin menu (see screenshot). I have it installed and can login via my android, but there are so many nuances. I tried the link from the configuration console, and it gives me a 404 error (see screenshot). I looked through all the questions on here, and only found two power points for end-users. (An introduction for end-users and a user guide for end-users; see screen shot). I looked at the information in the Foundation documentation, but it’s generalized (see screen shot). I couldn’t find any admin information at all, not just for version 2.1.10. All help is appreciated!
