Looking at the documentation for LOV Searching is shows that the functionality should use contains, however when creating a customer order as example. When I try entering a customer the logic used is startswith. Am I misunderstanding the logic here? Has anyone been able to change this logic? Thanks,Jamie

I have created a Service Request and trying to process where material will be delivered direct to the WO/customer site, direct from the supplier.I have an address on the task and can set the Supply code to “Purchase Order” , but I cannot se in either the work Task or Material Request a field “Delivery Method” or any other field with “Delivery” in it to tell the PO to send direct to the customer.I have looked at this and various other link to no avail.https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/25r2/lang/en/RequestManagement/AboutMaterialPreparation.htm

Hi all! I try to configure search parameters in the employees page to find a way to filter all employees whose birthday is in a specified month. Something like “Show all employees whose birthday is in June”. Does somebody have an idea how to archieve this? The basic search seems not to be able to get this result. We are talking about IFS Cloud 25R2.

In the 25R2 release, the FAI (First Article Inspection) functionality was introduced under the Quality Management module. However, this functionality is not available in our 25R2 environment. How to enable this? Also, MRP Simulation functionality as well.

Hi EveryoneOn the Page “AD User Mappings for Financial Models” one can Generate Access for General Ledger Code Combinations. In some Cases not all Combinations get generated namely.GL Authority Combinations (We only use it on Account and Cost Center, all other Elements are %)MAX: Account = %, Cost Center = %Voucher Row:Account = 24790, Cost Center = nullThis Combination is Missing in the [CODESTRING_COMBINATION_RLS_BI_TAB] and therefore RLS is not working properly in GL Analysis Model. The Generate Access Procedure must include null combinations. Currently it only takes combinations into account where the code part exists in code part values, but a combination of account without any other posting element ist very viable.

I can create a Query using Query Designer with a parameter.  I can then create a Quicksight report based on the published Query.  I can go to Order Report and am prompted for a value for my parameter.  All is well with the world.  If I want to add another parameter to my Query in Query Designer, I can do that and Synchronize the Query.  If I then go to Order Report and refresh the screen, my new parameter appears.  If I give the new parameter a value, I get an error.P1Rep/QsrParameters (server error)Malformed Request.Error details: [{"code":"UNKNOWN_CONTENT","message":"'ParamAbcClass' can not be mapped as a property or an annotation."}]Server stack trace error(s):  Tree should be empty but still has content left: ParamAbcClassI’ve tried Unpublish/Republish too.  I’ve also tried unpublishing my Quicksight report and republishing.  The only thing that works, is to recreate the Quicksight report based on the updated Query.  Surely this can’t be the solution?

Hi All!When printing Work Instruction for ShopOrder, we use the function “Print Attached Documents”.IFS finds the attached documents well, e.g. a document which is attached to workinstruction guidelines of a operation. In our current situation it's kind of a suprise for the one who print's whether there are connected documents. Therefore we would like to have insight in all the attached documents from the ShopOrder itself(in Screen ShopOrder).I guessed that “Object Connection Transformations” would be the solution, but i could not manage to set it so that we saw the attachements in screen ShopOrder.Does anyone managed to do this? Or does anyone have other ideas on how to configure this? Thanks!

Hi guys,We received a demand for one client in Spain. They must receive the e-invoice on the format XSIG and signed electronically. Is it possible in IFS Cloud? We are using version 25R2 SU6 Thanks, Gianni Neves

Could someone please advise how to add the company footer in Report Designer for instant invoice for example please?Do we need to create a custom field to retrieve the value, or is there another way to access it directly ? if so may i have guidance on the how to please?

Should I assume that the .REP layout files, that are created in Report Studio, are to be placed into the customer’s solution repository, just like any other layout that is created? I don’t see any guidance in the tech docs on this process - other than the idea of export/import between instances.Does IFS have anything indicating best-practice for the new Report Studio layouts?  Should we advise our clients to follow the same practice as when a new RDL layout is created ie: put it in the proper server/reports/layouts folder and PR it into the customer solution master?

Hi,I am looking for the following options in MWO - Service Classic but they do not appear. I have added all the security grants for ServiceEngApp 25 but it only gives me view to add new service request which is linked the request management. Is there anything I am missing? Thanks,George.

Issue Description:In our organization's PSO environment, we have a large amount of technicians with diverse shift types, where each engineer may have their unique shift pattern. Due to the dynamic nature of schedules, frequent modifications or creation of new shifts lead to operational challenges.Current Challenge:The issue arises when we need to adjust an individual's shift without altering the entire template. For instance, we may need to change an engineer's Wednesday shift for a single day to a different Category and apply a specific Rule Collection for that specific day. However, we observe limitations in applying a single-day shift change within the Advance Resource Planner.Query:Is it possible to modify an individual's shift within the PSO Workbench to change the Shift Category and incorporate a Rule Collection for a distinct day, without applying a template for that day's shift? While we understand the feasibility of accomplishing this through API integration, we are seeking gu

25.1.7I have a  part with two Part Revisions, 1 and 2.This is an Export Controlled Part. When I want to assign a Primary Classification, Classification Scheme, and Export Control Code, neither Part Revision 1 or 2 is listed in the Revision No dropdown. Why are these revisions not in the dropdown? The field description for Revision No:The revision number of the part. If the part has had several revisions, the revision number will be stated. The revision number is automatically generated by the system. This is the number that designates a current or past version of a part or assembly. If IFS/Manufacturing Standards is not installed, the Part Revision value is set to 1. If IFS/Manufacturing Standards is installed, the value is retrieved from the Revision No field on the Manufacturing Standards/Part Revision and Attributes/Part Revision page. When registering purchase order arrival the value is retrieved from the respective purchase order line. For a number of transactions where a relevant r

Hello,I'm struggling to populate a multi-choice Custom Enumeration attribute via Camunda Workflow in IFS Cloud. I have a custom attribute (e.g., Cf_Factory) that is a multi-choice (multi-select) custom enumeration. When adding a row using the UI, I can see (in the debug console) that the field expects an array like:Cf_Factory: ["CfEnum_London", "CfEnum_Manchester"] When I try to create this row using Camunda Workflow, things break: If I set a single value: execution.setVariable('Cf_Factory', 'CfEnum_London');, it works. If I try to set multiple values, nothing works. I’ve tried multiple things via a Script Task: ArrayList, Spin, comma-separated (["CfEnum_London","CfEnum_Manchester"]), etc Has anyone successfully set a multi-value (multi-enum) Custom Field via Camunda Workflow? Surely this must be a common task and usage for Workflows? I am on IFS Cloud version 23R2. Any advice or experience would be much appreciated!

Hello, We are experiencing an issue related to PSO manual changes (drag & drop rescheduling in the PSO gantt). We are on 6.14.0.27 as of Saturday Feb 01 2025.What we are seeing is as follows:A user will drag the activity to a new location (either same resource, different time or a different resource & different time)  Then when the activity is “dropped” (manual change initiated), the manual changes side bar / pop out box will be opened However, the “Validate and Apply Changes” & “Apply Changes” & “Validate” buttons will be greyed out., The option is Cancel This is the case with Preview Changes applied or not applied The target (updated) date & time field will be reflected in the manual changes box, but PSO is not detecting that changes have been made If the user then makes a subsequent change to any field in any of the fields in the manual changes side bar / pop out window or drags the activity icon a second time, only then are the change buttons available to select.

CLOUD 24R1Scenario: Prerrequisites: Handling unit type with packaging material part associated and ‘Reusable’ option enabled.Go to the Inventory part in stock and select a part that has not handling unit connected. Select the option to Pack according to Handling unit Capacity and enter the quantity to pack for an specific Handling unit type.  The part is packed with an specific handling unit ID. The packaging material of the handling unit type is consumed automatically and issue from the stock If I go again to the Inventory part in stock and select the part that I have just packed and select ‘Unattach from handling unit’ for unpack, the system will not receive again the packaging part into stock to be able to be used again for another packing. The quantity on hand of the packaging material should not be increased?Thank you in advance.

When an additional outside operation is added directly to a Shop Order and is not part of the standard routing, the operation cost can be recorded, but the associated overhead costs are not allocated. Overhead costs appear to be applied only to operations that are defined in the routing structure. This can occur in scenarios such as one-time rework that needs to be performed by an external supplier, where creating and maintaining a separate routing is not practical. In these cases, only the direct outside operation cost is captured, while the related overhead costs are excluded from the cost calculation.Has anyone encountered a similar requirement? Are there any recommended approaches in IFS Cloud to ensure overhead costs are also captured for additional outside operations added directly to a Shop Order? How are such "adjusted" Shop Orders typically handled to achieve accurate cost reporting?

Changing "Currency Formatting Option" field did not impact all fields with decimals only the fields that are currency related. Is there a way of setting a standard number of decimals across all fields?

Hi,   I would like to know why is it important to timely clear error messages from Maintenance Posting Analysis. What impact does it have if we dont do it timely.

During execution of the IFS Master Schedule (MS) process, we observed that past-due MS By Part records and their related Shop Order Requisitions (SORs) are automatically deleted by the system. This creates planning and supply chain risks, as the linkage between the Master Schedule and generated SORs is lost. All affected parts are configured as buildable, plannable, and MS Level 1. However, the system only allows future dates for MS By Part lines, and when “Run MS – One Part” is executed, past-due records are removed together with the dependent SORs.Although SORs can be recreated manually, this breaks the traceability between the MS record and the generated requisitions.Has anyone experienced similar behavior? Is there any recommended approach, configuration, or workaround to retain past-due Master Schedule records and prevent the related SORs from being deleted or re-planned?

Hello,Is the option to duplicate a line on the Outside Operation Cost screen not available? If so, is there any way to enable this functionality? We have a user requesting this feature. I have tested using an account with full access rights, but the option still does not appear to be available.
