These error shows in the new company I created in IFS. Can anyone help me to sort this out?  

How can I include new fields into this drop down list?  

We have an issue with users sharing their login access with other users. Is there anyway we can validate OS login, or fix one OS user for each IFS user account? 

Hi All,I would like to ask if it is possible to - Run PMRP to create only purchase requisitions on the activities without creating Material Transfer requests between the activities if already items are available in the Project inventory. for e.g. Activity A has the requirement of Part ABC for X Qty Activity B already has Part ABC for Y Qty where X>=Y, but there is no current requirement of the part ABC.in the above scenario, if I Run PMRP then in place of creating PR on Activity A, PMRP will create MTR between Activities between B and A. but the user doesn’t want that. So is there any set-up that I can stop triggering MTR and only create fresh purchase requisition for Activity A while there is already the Same Part qty existing on Activity B?Kind regards,

Hi,We are trying to get an access to Project Management\Plan and Execute\Project.We can see there is a line called Project in navigator, but it has no content and it cannot be granted to any permission set.Could it be that it has changed since UPD13?Or is it some license / enabled module issue?Best regards,Bernadeta

We have setup multi company project reporting and everything works fine as long as a user with full access reports time for an employee. In that case, an employee is automatically created in customer company and added to employee link table.However, when a ‘normal’ user reports time on an employee activity, the users first gets error messages that he cannot add the user to the customer company.  When an admin user grants access the user access to the company, then the normal user gets an error that he is not allowed to assign position to the employee (in customer company). What permissions are required to have the employee in customer company automatically created? Is there a standard permission set with the required permissions?

Hi All, I have been receiving the following error when attempting to pick parts from inventory needed for the work order. I am reserving from the maintenance material requisition, creating a pick list, and attempting to pick / issue the material. Has anyone seen this error before? 

Even though the sale price from the employee company is transferred to the customer company as an internal price, it is not reflecting in the activity monitoring as planned cost. What could be causing this?  Posting Control setup at Customer company  

I created and approved a project transaction with ‘Create cost accounting’= Yes; but; cost is not updated on activity, although, hours are updated. What could be the reason ?

Dear all,I would like to ask you to explain why Project Deliverables does not contain an option for Supply Code = DOP (there are options for pegged Shop Order, pegged Purchase Order, PMRP and MRP only).Project Deliverables is really great mechanism to have everything under one umbrella, but what I am really strongly missing is the functionality to garantee the time dependencies in production planning of particular Shop Orders organized in the multilevel structure like in DOP.We are able to generate independent pegged shop orders connected to given Activity No, but without any connection among them. It means that we cannot garantee by the plan that the finish good will be planned and produced after all its semifinish parts will be planned / finished. Can be easily handled by the time dependency/timelag.I understand that demands of Project Deliverables are connected to activities of the project and we are able to drive the planning partially by the project activity based level. Hi, all,In my test pass of upgrading IFS9 to IFS10, I found the IFS connect for our EDI message stopped working, it just did not pick up the xml files as in IFS9.   The original setting in the FTP Reader, Routing Rule and Routing Address looked normal, but after putting the uploading xml file in the FTP site, nothing happened (In IFS9, the uploading files will disappear within minutes).  And there were no any messags under Application Messages, either error or successful.   Could anyone shred some insight to me ?thanks in advance,David

Hi All, I have setup MHS for sending project invoices for multi-company project transactions.Once the MHS setup is done, application has the option "send and release the invoice”. When I select that option, project invoice is posted but manual supplier is not created in customer company. I got below error in inbox messages.  Any help for this matter?I checked the ISO codes, but GB is available there. Regards,Malinda

I'm using IFS Application 10 for aircraft maintenance control, MRO. Maintenance programs vary depending on the serial number of each aircraft, modification applied to each one. To meet the variations by the IFS, we would have to set up several maintenance programs, which would make it difficult to update when revising the maintenance manual. The question is how to put together a single maintenance program that would handle multiple requests or is it even possible to create a way to update all programs when only one of them is updated against a revision of the maintenance manual. Multiple maintenance programs for the same aircraft make updating difficult.

… and I am trying to find out why when:The demand comes from a work task (on a work order) which is project connected We run PMRP per activity (for all activities within the project) PMRP generates a shop order requisition for the top part (demand from work task) But no purchase requisitions for the components In MRP part information for the components, the gross requirement is 1 but net requirement 0 so it seems it “sees” the demand from the top part No MTRs generated, no stock Structure is buildable, components are not standard planned Structure phase in is way back in time and no phase out dateSo what are we missing?  Any ideas? We are running IFS Cloud 22R2. 

Hi, Any materials available in below .Project Overhead Rules have been updated to consider the new Resource Management concept, although the creation of overhead rules is limited to Person Resource Groups marked as Used in Project. In other words, this functionality cannot be used for Tool or Machine Resource Groups, nor for Resource Groups not set to be Used in Projects.Regards,Rasfe.

Hello,We are running into an issue where it appears the calculated planned costs are doubling tax amounts for purchase order lines. It appears this can be a somewhat common issue based on other community posts, but we’ve been unsuccessful tracking down where this double tax calculation is coming from, even after reading other community posts. Below are some screenshots with a specific example, however, this issue is present on other projects as well, not just this project/activity. The other community posts seem to focus on other areas of IFS instead of the project planned cost. Has anyone experienced this before and been successful in tracking down where this double tax calculation is coming from when occurring on a project’s planned cost? This specific project activity is showing a planned cost of $4,580.Project connections shows it’s coming from only one purchase order no part line.However the PO shows a net price of $4,000 and a total gross price of $4,290, indicating there’s $290

When using the IFS Plugin for MS Projects, I get  a “Metadata not found” error when trying to import or export between Ms Projects and IFS.I am able to populate the list of projects, but all other interaction seems to generate this error. We are using MS Projects (16.0.16130.20218) and IFS Cloud 22R1 (Update 10).
