Aurena advanced search across multiple LUs

In EE, I have commonly deployed advanced saved searches to query across two separate LUs. For example…To search for all Inventory Parts of type “Manufactured” for which Serial Tracking is enabled on the corresponding Master Part record, we would use a SQL advanced search on the Inventory Parts screen, as follows…TYPE_CODE = 'Manufactured' and Part_No in (select Part_No from &AO.PART_CATALOG where RECEIPT_ISSUE_SERIAL_TRACK_DB = 'TRUE')Is it possible to perform an equivalent search via the advanced search feature in Aurena?Copy and pasting the same SQL doesn’t work, as it seems Aurena search seems to require Projection names rather than View names, but after I edited the search term to try accommodate that, Aurena still didn’t accept it. I’m not sure if the issue is with the nested select statement (or maybe it just doesn’t like the “in” operator)?Any advice would be appreciated!

Resource Analysis - Individual Loading

I’m trying to build some Power BI reports based on outputs from IFS but am struggling with a few tables.I particularly interested in resource management, forecast loading and capacity vs planned hours.From Resource Management > Analysis > Resource AnalysisI can see good detail by day, week, month etc, with each option showing me the scheduled capacity hours, utilization capacity hours and available capacity hours however when i then look at the Resource Activity Load Detail for that individual the Schedule Capacity Hours and Utilization Hours show as 0 The ‘Use HR Schedule’ is selected and schedule capacity is set as ‘Finite Capacity’ in the Resource Navigator.I don’t understand why the scheduled capacity hours are not showing on the activity load detail view.

Error - IFS Application - PLS-00201:identifier 'DIS_LIST_FILTER_SELECTION_API' must be declared

Before I open a case with IFS. I was wondering if anyone have an idea about the following error window. It happens when I try to access the Shop Floor Workbench. The window error only pop up for some users no all the users. It looks like pop up when the user try to access Shop Floor Workbench the first time.

Phase In/Out Multiple product structures

Hi, We have products that can have different ratios ( so the iterations are high) of the same components on different days depending on the status of components (rejections, volumes etc). Our plan is to phase in/out revisions and change the Qty required. We will however quickly build up the revision count over time on certain products. Is there a better way to do it? Can you run into problems if the revision number gets too high? Can you re-use a previous revision and update the phase in/out dates for example? Thanks

Hi, currently, our customer has the following requirements:For one certain Engineering Part , eg: Parts-A,after “Engineering Transfer”:in Site-1 , it is manufacture partsin Site-2, it is purchause partsCan IFS do this? and how?(because manufature/buy is attribute of “Engineering Part”, not “Part Transfer Template”, seems IFS cannot meet this requirement. )

MRB Overhaul Scrap Rule

In the Inventory Part, under the Manufacturing tab, there is an option called "Overhaul Scrap Rule". MRB Scrap can be selected here. This should automatically create an MRB case when scrap is booked. Unfortunately this does not work. Is there anything else that needs to be taken into account here?

I have 8 users who we are enabling in Aurena for use of Shop Floor Workbench on a mobile device. 7 of the users, with identical permission sets, work just fine but one gets this error - Any ideas?

Dynamic Parameters for Scheduled Quick Report

I would like to a quick report on the 12th of the month for the prior month. So on April 12th it will run for the month of March. On May 12th it will run for the month of Apr and so on. This report is also run manually by the users. Is there a way to dynamically set the From/To date to be the prior month or do I have to create copy of this report with the dates dynamically set in the select statement? I obviously don’t want two exact reports because of having to remember to make all changes twice. Below is the a screen shot of the server task schedule.

Shop order cost for DOP controlled (configured) part

Hi,We are using an integration from our external configurator to feed the DOP structures with parts and routings. When looking at the Shop order costs for the DOP controlled parts they do not seem to follow the same logic as for the parts that are manufactured to inventory. As an example, if the routing say 10 h for an operation and the worker is clocked in for 5 hours, we want production to get paid for 10 h, but being able to analyze the clocking to see that the worker did it in 5h. This works for regular shop orders, but for the DOP controlled, the Actual cost calculated is based on 5 h instead of 10. Shop Floor Workbench is used for reporting the Shop orders. The checkbox “Default time to report” is ticked on Site. Anyone who knows what goes wrong?

Availability control ID tracking

Hello All, I’m hoping there is somewhere in IFS to track this. It was recently discovered that an Availability Control ID was applied to a large group of parts in an inventory location. I have not found a place in IFS where you can view when and who applied the ID. I’ve checked Inventory Transaction History, but I do not see the transaction there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

APB set up matrix

Hi,We are a company that is producing different plastic profiles. For planning we use APB. As we may produce several items that have the same shape (tool) but different lengths we want to put them together and reduce set up time between shop orders. We were told that we can use set up matrix and sequencing. During test it worked fine, unfortunately, after setting this up for all our tools, it created millions of combinations and APB crashed. Is anyone else also having the same requirement? If so – how do You handle that? Do You use APB or perhaps other planning tool? I would be grateful for any suggestions and ideas 😊Best regards,Bernadeta

Manufacturing Visualizer - Can support multiple item drag and drop

I am in to project based manufacturing and using DOP Orders as well.I have scenarios to swaping all shop orders connected to my two projects or two DOP Headers.I can use group by for Project ID or DOP ID and can select all my connected Shop orders. However, drag and drop does not support for multiple Shop orders.Can you advise, how can I do it in Manufacturing Visualizer.BR,Thushan.

DOP Shop order control plan

Hi, We are currently on IFS Aurena app. I noticed that If I create shop order manually then IFS shows me ‘Create manufacturing analysis’ option to register control plan for particular operation on shop order but if my shop order gets created from DOP then ’Create manufacturing Analysis’ option gets disappeared from operations line menu . What should I do inorder to register the manufacturing analysis if the ‘Create Manufacturing analysis’ option is not there ? It doesn’t allow me to receive the shop order without doing that. Please help.

Hello all,under Aurena Rel. 9 there is a dialogue "Shop Order Materials with Shortage / (in Germand FA-Material mit Fehlmenge)".I have set the shortage monitoring for one part and received requirements from shop orders. However, nothing is displayed in this dialogue.Can anyone tell me what the dialogue can be used for and in which context?Many thanks

Combination of Outside Reserve/Backflush and Non-Shared Inbound Locations

Has anybody determined the situation in which one may want to set the Inbound Work Center location(s) as Not Allowed for outside reserve/backflush AND set the Inbound location(s) as Not Shared? Just trying to get a feel for how the combinations of thesetwo settings can work together.
