We are using IFS Apps 9 and rely on the Shop Floor Workbench to clock in time for shop orders. Currently, when sharing time, users select multiple shop orders and click “Start Production” to allocate time across multiple orders with the same work center.However, when attempting to job onto multiple shop orders with different work centers, the “Start Production” option is greyed out. Is there a setting or configuration that would allow users to share their time across different shop orders with different work centers?We appreciate your guidance on this

We are currently in 23R1 and are prepping to go to 24R1 in IFS Cloud.  But, we are having a bit of an issue with our Shop Orders and associated time reporting.  We normally will set our Routings to have identical Machine Run and Labor Run Factors, and we adjust our Work Center Capacities to account for the number of people there (e.g. 1 person is 100% efficiency, 2 people is 200%, etc.).  But, with our larger projects, it is very common to have something take a month to manufacture.  And, during this time, it is VERY normal for the sites to add additional people to a Work Center for a day or two if they have some extra workers available (say, another Work Center is down for material issues or Maintenance).  But, when this happens, our Remaining Hours gets out of alignment.  For example, Person A will Start Production for the day, starting Labor and Machine Time, and then use Stop Production when they are done, totaling 10 hours for the day (say 6 am to 4:30 pm with 30

We had an issue over the weekend.  we went from Standard Time to Daylight Savings time.  From about 1AM to 3:00AM the time on our Time Clock and the Time on the Shop Floor Workbench did not match.  The Shop Floor Workbench was 1 hour ahead of the Time Clock.  During this time operators could not clock into jobs on the SFW because it said: “Start time for a clocking cannot be a future time.”  Once the actual time change occurred, this error fixed itself.Do the SFW and the Time Clock get their times from separate places?We are on Apps 10.

Hello, I am getting this error But I have checked the Routing, the Workcenter, the resource templates, and resources to make sure that they are setup correctly and they are.  I am thinking that maybe there is a company wide setting that needs to be set.

How do I create a Operation Number in the Configuration Structure IFS Apps 10  

When enter a numric value 100, 50 in configuration rule, the value is converted to 100.5 even if I have web setting to use comma in qty per assembly.Anybody that has an solution to this or is it a bug corrected in later releases. We run IFS Cloud 23R2 

Hello Team,I have an issue discovered today.While I’l trying to copy an inventory part, the ABC Class is wrong. You can see on the screenshots below that the REF part is in class A, but the copied part is in Class C.Do you know how can I solve that ?

Hello Comunity, I have a question regarding the functionality of the Part Eco footprint module in IFS Cloud.                    Everyone in the product`s  distribution chain must indicate on the invoice the amount of the recycling charges based on the weight of hazardous substances in the product.  The Eco footprint module calculates the weight of hazardous substances from entire structure parts. Recycling charges must not be part of the product price.                                                                     Does this module a tool for recording recycling charges?Does anyone have a solution for this?                                                                                       Thank you for your answer.  

When doing odata batch-requests in APP10, the response contains duplicate Content-Length headers. I’m using .net package Simple.OData.Client to call the API, and this client detects this as an error and throws an exception: “The header 'Content-Length' was specified multiple times. Hi, a bit of background on our operations: We are a machine shop that carry out repair of various products that are not manufactured by us (eg. pumps, valves gear boxes etc). For a specific part depending on the type of repair required, we have created standard product structures and routings. (for eg. for a specific part, I have four standard repair procedures for which pricing varies depending on which repair procedure is required, i can use product structure and routing to define these four repair procedures). We currently use a modified shop order to carry out repair activity using the Shop Order module which allows us to schedule and plan our work centers. Hence, I am looking for a solution where the sales team can select the part with its specific condition code, i can define the pricing using different condition codes. And once the customer order is released, the product structure and routing for that specific repair is automatically populated in the automatically created sho

Hello,I was wondering if it is possible to use the acceptance sampling for not lot tracked parts, where the methodology would calculate then every time based on the lot size of the shop order.I have tested it, and it is possible - acceptance sampling calculates the sample size, however I am not sure what other consequences it might have? Thank you very much in advance for your help in this one.

Dear All, When creating shop order from shop order requisitions, I have found the following behaviour. If a Shop Order is creating using the create shop order requisition the number will be set to a numerical number. Here 691.  If 2 others are created :  The next number is 265, meaning 2 others were created and deleted 263 and 264.Why do we have some shop orders created and removed

Is there a way or setting to automatically trigger the UNOPFEED (cancel operation reporting) when unreceiving the shop order, and the UNOPFEED quantity matches the unreceived quantity?

Hi Everyone,We have recently upgraded from APPS9 to APPS10 and have noticed that on the production receipt that the option to Backflush and Defer Backflush is no longer available.Has this capability been removed from APPS10? I would like to ask whether it is possible to configure IFS Cloud 24.2.2 so that when manufacturing a new (valid) version of a product, the system automatically considers the new (valid) version of the input component as well.Currently, we are experiencing an issue where, during the reservation of input components for a Shop Order (setting Reserve/Issue Method is Reserve And Backflush), the system incorrectly reserves an older version of the component (if it is in stock) instead of the currently valid version. Is there a way to adjust this behavior in the system settings?Thank you for your help and advice.
