I see in the ifs documentation that it is possible to do a drop down in the lobby parameter drop down like this: How can I get this done?  I haven’t been able to find any information on this.

We would like to change the sort on the Manual Issue Material screen to be by Receipt Date.  We can go in and do the sort, save the profile, but it still resets back to the original sort, which is the quantity on-hand.  Is there a way to change this or set it to a different default?  

Can somebody please help me with change of lot batch using shop order method or any easier method which can be used to change from one lot batch to another ? Example: I have Part A with current lot batch = ABC 123 and I would like to change Part A current lot batch to a New lot batch = CAB 456 How can this be done via the Shop Order or any other easier method?

if the shop order has operation of assemly. how to determin the assembly work hours? we tried to input the work hours in the collum of “labor factor”, the start date is not calculate with it. but the lead time can calculate based on labor factor(when we set it up in “lead time calculation basis”). Dont you think it is a conflict? what would you suggest to build up a shop order with only assembly operations? thanks!

We have a custom event that executes on a change to APPROVAL_ROUTING_TAB.  The problem for us is we don’t want that to execute when the reason the record changed in the Approval_ROUTING_TAB is that a prior step in the approval process was deleted.  (Users are supposed to remove steps from the bottom up to avoid this but frequently forget.) Is there a way I can tell that?  Do other fields besides LINE_NO get updated when a prior step is deleted?  Would it work to add an outer IF statement on the Event Action SQL code something like If &NEW:LINE_NO<&OLD:LINE_NO AND (All other fields New = Old) then  --skip the action because prior step was deleted. else --insert the existing sql code here end if;

When we set a Budget in the Project Forecast as Forecast Type Budget for certain Cost Elements make as Active, then we do the transactions like Material Demand for the Cost Elements, its not updating the Used cost in the Project Forecast.

Dear All,   I have created DOP header from customer order. I closed all the supplies generated from DOP. Now when I am checking Part Qty Delivered in Demand tab of DOP header, it is showing as 5 although I have not delivered in customer order . Why in DOP header is coming is part Qty delivered as 5. It should be 0 as per my understanding since Customer Order has not been delivered yet.   Thanks! BR Cheers to IFS

Hi all,   This is my third problem i have posted and so far I’ve had 100% success, so i’m hoping this one will get solved too.   As you can see from the chart below, the data is being sorted by the y axis, as in the higher value or greater amount. I actually want the x axis to be sorted in weeks. In this example i’d want it to look like   06-2020, 07-2020, 08-2020 and last 09-2020.       Any ideas?    

When looking at the Engineering Part Navigator I can see the Engineering  Revision for the structure that am reviewing.  When I create an equipment object I provide a Part No: for the piece of equipment.   How do I know the Engineering Revision for the Part that is linked to the Equipment?  

Using IFS10 When you go to  connect an object to a Change Request you are prompted to with the following screen:   We would like to be select documents as connected Object’s in this screen. Does anyone know if that is possible?

We have a Customer Order (CO) It has a Customer Order Line (COL) for a manufactured part that isn't in stock That line is connected to a Shop Order (SO) The Shop Order has a line (SOL) for a manufactured part that isn't in stock MRP finds that Invent Order shop order line and creates another Shop Order (SO2) CO --> COL --> SO --> SOL --> SO2 How do I link the whole chain? How do I determine whether any given Shop Order is for a true customer demand, versus whether it's just to satisfy a safety stock?  

Using IFS10    The Change Request screen has 2 required fields out of the box.    CR Level and CR Type.   Is it possible to make these fields not required?

Hi all, We are just now starting to use the Manufacturing Visualizer for our Shop Order Planning/scheduling and haven’t quite advanced to thew APB and CBS processes. Is there a way to display the Shop Order Routing Operation Transport Time on the visualizer? We are using this data as curing time and are reluctant to create a specific line of operation just for curing. Any and all advice will be appreciated.   Regards   Ken

Hi There, Need your assistant,  We had to create multiple Work types for each site ( we have around 10+ Sites) in order to cater business requirement at posting control level. However now each users at sites can see 100+ work types to select even though they want to display around 10+ work types.    Current Workaround for this is create a global search condition and save it to user profile. Users are not educated enough to make this so IT have to logon to their account and do the necessary things    My question is , Is there any chance to create the global search condition at super user level and grant the permission for relevant users without login using their user profile ?   or Any Suggestion please   

We have started using Consignment Stock for Supplier-owned stock. We want to be able to identify such stock within the “Inventory Part In Stock” data. I could join to Inv Trans Hist using the Part_no/contract/Lot_batch_no to get the CO-ARRIVAL record, but at 75 million Inv Trans Hist rows, even forcing an index takes a very long time in an SQL statement. Any ideas as to how I can include/exclude within some of our Inventory Part In Stock reports? We are running IFS2003!
