Hello,

We are implementing Apps10, Version 10, Enterprise Explorer.

When attempting to print a pick list from Shop Floor Workbench, we keep getting an error. We can print from Shop Order successfully. The steps we follow to print from each are below. Any guidance is appreciated.

From Shop Order (successful):

  1. RMB (in header)> Material Actions> Reserve
    1. (reserve window pop-up) Create Pick List box is checked
    2. (new window-shop order pick list options)
      1. Pick list per: Order No
      2. Print Pick List checked
    3. OK
    4. Print window pops up successfully
    5. Shop Order History shows pick list created.

From Shop Floor Workbench

  1. RMB (on order line)> Material Actions> Reserve
    1. (reserve window pop-up) Create Pick List box is checked
    2. (new window-shop order pick list options)
      1. Pick list per: Order No
      2. Print Pick List checked
    3. OK
    4. “Information Message” - No pick list was created since no reservations not already connected to a pick list we found.
      1. Pick List print window does not appear after clicking okay.
      2. When I go back to the shop order the shop order is reserved, but after checking history, the pick list is not created.

I also tried running the Create Pick Lists(s) for Shop Order(s). The pick list for my shop order is then created, but I still cannot print from the workbench. In addition, I can print any pick list from the Shop Order Pick Lists screen.

Overall, the error seems isolated to the Shop Floor Workbench screen.

Thanks for reviewing this!

Thanks,

Jeff Nattermann

Workbench operates on an operation level rather than order level. Hence, both in the reservation dialog and in the Advanced dialog will be filtered on the specific operation. I.e. you will only reserve and create pick list for material connected to the selected operation.

Thank you for the feedback. We updated our product structures to include operations and this is now working.

This was a change from Apps9 to Apps10. My assumption is because we were running Shop Order Pick List (not consolidated) in Apps9, but the only option in Apps10 is Shop Order Pick List (consolidated).
