Hi all,When I release a DOP order, a Shop Order is automatically created. Hi all,I have a question regarding internal logistics during Shop Order execution.In some cases, WIP needs to be physically moved by logistics between two Work Centers between two operations on the same Shop Order. Is there a standard functionality in IFS Cloud to: Trigger internal logistics that WIP is ready to be moved? Generate a transport task is not possible because it is WIP, but another signal or other notification to inform warehouse/logistics staff that something needs to be transferred between operations? Hello,When calculating a Part cost in Product costing, it calculates the cost for 1pce or standard batch size. Is it possible to calculate costs for different batch sizes. For example, if our manufactured product is using purchased components and we have a pricing added behind the supplier of the component for several different batch sizes, is it possible to calculate our manufacturing cost for 1pce, 5pcs and 10pcs, so that it take into account those price steps we have from our material supplier? 

Hi All.Is it possible to control the IFS standard so that Dop Order alarms are not generated?Our client is experiencing performance issues due to a large number of Dop Order alarms being created.Therefore, I would like to prevent Dop Order alarms from being generated.Best Regards.

Which view(s) should I use to reconstruct the multi-level cost structure (with all components)?

Is there a way to backflush material in a Shop Order without getting the following error? Parent part is multilevel tracking enabled and serializedThe error doesn’t appear when the “Manual Reservation” is done. However, even in manual reservation the locations available are all locations and not only the backflushing locations even though they are defined on the component level.

I am trying to generate a GS1 QR Code in IFS Report Designer but cannot find a way to create a group separate to separate the columns that will create the QR Code.   Wadaco Configuration has been created so that FNC1 code 10 = LOT_BATCH_NO and code 241 = PART_NO.   I therefore created a READ ONLY custom field that using the following SELECT statement:   SELECT '10'||lot_batch_no||chr(29)||'241'||part_no FROM INVENTORY_PART_BARCODE WHERE objid = :objid   If I copy and paste the value from the custom field into Wadaco GS1 Barcode 1 on clicking SAVE the the value of the LOT_BATCH_NO is displayed in the Lot Batch field and the value of PART_NO is displayed in the Part No field. Unfortunately, adding the custom field to IFS Report Designer the ascii value appears to be ignored as copying the value displayed on the report and pasting it as above the full value appears in the Lot Batch field. Created an inventory part, its product structure and routing. Also created a repair structure revision and repair routing revision of the same. Then completed a manufacturing shop order of that part. Then created a repair type shop order of the part > reserved it > issued it. On the “shop order multilevel repair structure” page, the repair shop order is visible but on expanding the sidebar it does not show any subitems.>>Any prerequisites missing for that? 

In the Disposition Shop Order, when I RMB on the Disposition Line → Select Part Identified. I get the below error message.“The quantity reserved tor part XXX on site xx at location xxx should not be negative.” Could anyone assist me with this.

Need a little guidance here.  I created a lot-controlled part with a lot size of 1 and it created the as-built structure for each lot I created.  I have a repair structure and a repair routing, and I create a repair shop order and ensure that I turn on multi-level repair before I save the shop order. I am getting the materials that I may issue as part of the repair as materials as well as the finished good part on the shop order materials.  I then manually reserve the lot number of the finished good part but here’s the rub. I am NOT getting the multi-level repair structure as I have in the past with serialized parts.  What am I missing??The documentation says it’s possible but…Thanks in advance!

Can someone please explain how can I get data in to CAPA window connect objects dialog similar to Non Conformance Report  window > Connect objects dialog. Has this been facilitated in Object connections. Which I did not see.example: How I can connect a Customer Order as an Object in this dialog?

Hello,When I transfer a configurable part to his site I have the message: transaction based in combination with inventory valuation method weighted average is not allowed for configured parts. How can I disable this message/setting that I only have on one site and not on others? thank u for your help. KR

Why would the duration be different on two clocking when the start and stop times are the same?  Note the screen shot below… the duration on 11/6 is 3.87 hours, but the duration on 11/10 is only 1.48 hours.  It appears that the system is doing something different on Mondays but it’s only impacting certain employees.  

When multi-level tracking is required on Lot/Batch enabled parts, there are scenarios where standard quantity of a component in the product structure is not truly required to complete the produced part, for example it would OK to issue 9.8 pounds of flour instead of 10.  Or perhaps the component quantities are not discrete, rather going out several decimal places in quantity required, for example a component UOM is pounds.  And as long as the actual amount issued is close to this it would be OK.  With Multi-level tracking turned on, none of these scenarios are possible, as the tracked structure requires all the required quantity to be reserved or issued, or the tracked structure is not complete.  Has anyone found work-arounds for this? I am thinking it might require a modfication to change the validations to allow some level of tolerance around quantity issued versus qty required.

Is there a way to change an Inventory Location from one Location Group to another one that has a different Location Type?For example, suppose there are two Location Groups: A which has a Location Type of Picking and Location Group B which has a Location Type of Floor Stock. If Inventory Location 01-01-01-001 has a Location Group of A, is there a way to change it so that it has Location Group B?We tried changing it manually, but we ran into the following error: As such, we’re curious if it is possible at all to change the Inventory Location Group for an Inventory Location if the Location Types are different.

This seems like a basic request but I cannot find any way to achieve this inside IFS (Apps10).If we have a part shortage, how can we generate a list of all top level parts (manufactured units) that this part could go into?With a lot of manual work/expanding of assemblies we can get there using the Complete Where Used and Component Where Used screens, but we have to expand all of the multiple level sub-assemblies in order to find all of the top level parts that are impacted.Surely there has to be a better, quicker way to identify just a simple list of top level units (final assembly) that would require a specific part?

Hello,I have a Shop Order that I can’t close due to an error in costs.I notice that I had a product that was issued first and it was set by mistake as ‘Zero cost only’, then we notice and change it to ‘Zero Cost Forbidden’.Then we make an unissue and issue again, but it has costs already.Do you have an idea how to solve this?

Hi All,Is there a way to cancel an Analysis Result when the data point is in Complete status? According to the IFS document, data point should be in incomplete status to cancel an analysis result. Is there any work around solution to cancel an unwanted analysis result? When attempting to cancel the Analysis, I receive the error shown below.Thank You.

Hello IFS Community,  When we regenerate the calendars with the addition of new exceptions to already generated calendar, scheduling/Planning of all the DOP connected Shop Orders and PRs become inaccurate. The only option seems available to correct them to reply on the function “Propagate Date Upstream “. However, this is not practical when there many open DOP orders. I already created a ticket to IFS support, and they wanted me to create a community post . Kindly enhance this in a future release ?  

Hi, We have a customer that needs to sequence manufacturing of multiple parts in for packing and installation. For example:  They need a total 30 x Part P1 and 7 x Part P2 For packing and installation they might to make the parts in the follow quantities. 5 x P1 2 x P2 10 x P1 1 x P2 3 x P1 2 x P2 5 x P1 2 x P2 7 x P1 The finished goods have multiple parts that are both purchased and subassemblies made other shop orders. They aren’t using DOP. The demands for the shop orders are generated by PMRP.The preference is not to split this into multiple shop orders for the sequencing (ie just one shop order for 30 x P1 and one shop order 7 x P2).Another option is that if we do split the final parts into multiple shop orders for sequencing, after the initial run of PMRP, the shop orders for underlying assem
