Insights (Business Reporter and Analysis Models, EOI)

Hi,We have encountered an error with the view FACT_ACTIVITY_CALCULATION_BI which I believe is part of the Analysis Models.The error is:ORA-00904: "ACTIVITY_CLASS_SEQ": invalid identifierHas anyone else experienced this?It seems that it is because the view thinks that "ACTIVITY_CLASS_SEQ" is a column in FACT_ACTIVITY_CALCULATION_OL but that view does contain that column.This is causing failures for us when we are trying to load the data into the SQL database.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Mark Mruss

Hello to the community, I am using GL balance data set to create reports on Business Reporter; All credit values, revenues are shown as negative amounts and costs have positive values; I was wondering if I could switch this value format presentation somewhere in order to show cost with minus sign (-100) and revenues as positive amounts?  Thank you for your help :)  Tanya

Hi everyone, Having some issues with Crystal that I can’t seem to wrap my head around. I’m trying to pull through the list of operations on a Shop_Order as they appear within the view, however Crystal is splitting each onto a new page. No ‘keep together’ options are working to resolve this either… Am I missing something? I’ve attached a screenshot of what result I’m getting, VS what I’m TRYING to get to.Appreciate any insights!   

Hi,We have a report rule setup for the report CUST_STMT_ACCT_REP which sends an email for users. we have renamed the attachment as below to take the customer no.Environment = Apps9 But the attachment name is not getting the customer no and we receive attachment name as below. Are we missing anything here? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

Hi, Has anyone ever set up an Escalation Handling rule in IFS? My team has tried to set up an Escalation configuration that would dispatch a “Case” based on criteria but we can’t seem to get it to trigger.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.Note: We really have yet to see a single Escalation Trigger work in action. A simple example of an Escalation Handling trigger in action may be enough to get us to the finish line.Thank you,Alex

In IFS10 on ifspp account one of reports in Operational Reporting is not available (C_PAY_GRIDLOCKS_REP). It has greyed submenu options: Order report, Show Archived Reports, Schedule Report, View Schedules. Other reports are available for print. When I try to add it to Report Schedule I got message: Report “C_PAY_GRIDLOCKS_REP” is not available for scheduling for current User (IFSAPP). In solution Manager / Operational Reporting / Report Definitions “Domain” and “Category” boxes are empty.Where can I unblock this report?

Can we create an order report with fillable fields like the attached PDF document using IFS Report Designer?

Morning,We are trying to create a new lobby, but we it come time to create the datasouce (using datasource designer), we are getting always the error “UNABLE TO FIND xxxxx View” (where xxxxx is the name of the view). I already change the grants in all ways possible, and I don’t thing the problem is it. Did anyone have the same problem and managed to fix? Thanks, Gianni

When we schedule a Sql report it comes through with a lot of unnecessary formatting that makes the resulting spreadsheet impossible to use.  All of our financial number fields have a carriage return and spacing. The reports export fine within IFS. Is there a place to tell  the system to send scheduled quick reports as data only?  This was not the previous behavior in Apps10 We are 23R1 UPD7

[I’m very new to IFS, so apologies in advance for incorrect terminology / an obvious question / etc.] My company are moving to IFS Cloud, and want to customise some of the standard report templates. From the docs and this post, it looks like the process for this is:Install Developer Studio, and link it our IFS instance via IFS Lifecycle Experience, Azure VPN etc. Use Developer Studio to download the .rdf and .xsd files for the report we want to customise. Install Report Designer and edit the report template, creating a new .rdl file. Upload the new .rdl file to IFS Cloud, and link it to the relevant processes.Is there another way to do this? E.g. is it possible to download the .rdf and .xsd files directly from IFS Cloud, and edit in Report Designer; or better still, clone an existing report template from within IFS Cloud and edit that directly? [And if not, is there anywhere I can vote for that functionality?!]

Hi,There is an option already to export information source as .ins file. But I couldn’t find any option to import that file into same or another environment. I’m very grateful if anyone have idea for that. Thank you.

I am trying to create a data source in datasource designer based on a query that I am designing in query designer. The end result should be a list of all Work Orders with a Work Leader that is missing a specific competence.In Query designer, I am able to retrieve a list of ongoing Work Orders with Work Leaders and I am also able to retrieve a list of competence per Work Leader but I fail to remove the Work Orders for those with a Work Leader that has the specific competence.The filter in Query Designer seems to be applied as a final step which makes it hard to just get a list of the specific competence at hand, and eliminates the possibility to use left outer join and search for null values.Is there anyone that knows a good way to solve this challenge?

We were running the BA Execution Server on a Windows 2012 VM in three environments (Test, Acceptance and Production).In the Test environment we upgraded the Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2019 and the BA Execution Server was running like a dream.Unfortunately, after doing the same upgrade in the Acceptance environment (2012 to 2019), the BA Execution Server will start, but reports are not fully rendering. Hello,I’m trying to set up tabular models IFS_INCIDENT_ANALYSIS and IFS_SALARY_REVIEW_ANALYSIS and it seems it’s missing Fact IDs referenced by above Tabular Models. It gives below error when trying to deploy tables and views to SQL Server, This environment does have some inactive components. Could you please explain the reason behind this behavior? what are the expected components that need to be active?
