Failure in PSO Reconfiguration Process

Hi Experts, I'm getting the following error while doing a PSO reconfiguration process.Anyone have an idea why this is happening? When I try to log in to the database using the ifs password we have, it works fine.

Delivery Creation Failed - 24R2 Release Update

Hello All, We are currently in the process of upgrading from 23.1.11 to 24.2.0 through the Release Update Studio. We successfully uplifted the customizations, and the creation of the topic environment and the sanity build were both successful. However, the delivery creation failed due to errors in the standard objects.We have checked the log file and could see that there are numerous errors related to deploying standard core views/packages, even though the customizations have not impacted this area. We tried to deploy one of the errored standard API from Developer Studio by connecting to DEL env, and it got successfully deployed to database without any error (refer screenshot).Interestingly, the creation of TOPIC environments from the Release Update Studio was successful, and the sanity build performed just before the failed delivery creation also succeeded. Therefore, the delivery creation should have been successful, as it theoretically uses the same code from the repository.We are a

Problem with proxy config and ubuntu 20:04 and IFS Cloud

I was interested in finding out how people have handled the problem that the ova version of ubuntu which runs 20:04 has a version of libcurl that does not support CIDR notation, which means that we must individual ip addresses och not networks which would be much better ?Is it too much to ask that IFS updates the OS to at least 22:04 or higher or at least give us the chance to run a lInux distribution of our choice like Redhat Linux 8 or 9./Craig

How to stop a PrelPosted invoice from getting Paid

Is there a way to hold an invoice in PrelPosted status ? I am trying to avoid these invoices from getting picked in the Payment proposal and getting paid.

Proportion field on Limit Definition Details

There isn’t any field level help for the Proportion field on the Limit Definition Details screen.  It’s in the Limit Settings  grouping.  We have it set to Yes, Must be earned before used.  We’re assuming that within a period, which we’ve defined as 2 weeks that if we’re 1 week into a period that 50% of the period’s allocation will be earned.  Then we have the phrase  “must be earned before used”, we think this implies that the absence isn’t earned until the employee works that period.  In other words, if the employee leaves at the beginning of the 3rd period in December, they will only accrue 2 weeks of the monthly amount and not the full month’s amount.Are we understanding how this works correctly?  Thank you

Word Template Definition in IFS Cloud does not have same Document Types as previous versions

Hi,Not sure if I am missing something, but Apps10 has the below options when creating a new Word Template Definition: In IFS Cloud (version 24.1.6), only the Employee option is available: Any ideas?  We have a prospect wanting to send Merge documents to applicants Any assistance Appreciated!

Available Limit - Calculation is unknown

Our company give the employee 112 hours of absence which is accrued on a daily basis throughout the year.  We have an employee who starts on 12/9/24 and we’re double checking the calculation of the Available Limit (hours) and cannot validate the number.  Is the method that is used to calculate this number known?We’re using 112/365 to get .3068 hours per day and the multiplying by 23 to get 7.057 hours is showing a value of 6.925.  There is a discrepancy.  Does anyone know the underlying formula?

AUTOMATIC feature of accrual reversal for vouchers in GL

Is there any AUTOMATIC feature of accrual reversal for vouchers in GL ?We want to be able to indicate from the beginning of the voucher process whether a voucher is reversing. Then have a voucher post in the current period and reverse out in the following fiscal period automatically after it is approved.Appreciate your solution on this?

External Supplier Invoice load error

Hi,  IFS tells me that this field is mandatory, why? How can I change it, so it is not mandatory? I can’t create a invoice because I’m missing data in the column.

Shop order pick list - picked parts

Hi All,Can we get list of parts picked in a shop order picklists. My customer is using pick by choice so ideally serials or lot batches in the pick list might be changed when picked.  Customer is using wadaco for picking. They expect to generate a printout on what picked. Is there any way that I can get what got picked for the shop order.for customer order pick lists we have a separate window “Picked pick lists” but nothing available for shop orders.Any ideas on how to get this please. Thanks,Chamath

With PM request generator created request / missing assets

A user  created a request with a task.Later he made the job and missed the main asset and the second asset.I created the missing assets and steps.And found 6 strange entries in the "run log". Unfortunately, I have not found a way to see and control the parameters passed to the PM request generator.Are the call parameters of the PM request generator recorded?How can I access this log?

Work order info gets attached to customer e-invoice

Hi,When we create a customer e-invoice based on a customer order based on work orders,  information from all the underlying work orders are sent along the invoice as a separate attachment (named “invoice_specification”). This is a big problem for us as the work orders contain internal information that we don’t want the customers to see. We just want to send the invoice to the customers. How can we prevent the attachment with all the work order information to be created and attached to the customer e-invoice?Thank you,David

Invalid URL Error

Hi good morning Community of IFS Excuse me i have a problem with some botton, only the first time i push this botton appers me an error, this error say “{"error":{"code":"ODP_UNSUPPORTED_URL","message":"Invalid URL."}}” The action is carried out satisfactorily but users are drawn to this type of problem, has it ever happened to them, could you help me by guiding me on what I can do in these cases, Thanky you!

Schedule for irregular working hours

Hi, Scenario:We have an employee not working on a set schedule and project time reporting.Reality could look like working 10 hours on a Monday, 4 hours on a Thursday and then not working again for two weeks.   I’ve tried different schedule scenarios and Time Base, Time Registration Base, Rule Types, Parameter List, Wage Codes – you name it. No matter what I do we can’t seem to get more hours than 8 to Results (unless I change Work Hours Sum in Day-by-Day schedules) while reporting 10 hours project reporting. We want this employee to be able to report his project time without having a set schedule with already defined hours. Is that even possible? We want the project reporting hours to match the hours going to Results. If possible, what needs to be done to set this up? This Employee is not entitled to Overtime compensation. /Anna

Create a JSON in a workflow

Order Delivery Notification Email

We are a fresh migrant from IFS 7.5 to Apps 10 UPD11 (we know, update soon). Disclaimer that I’m very beginner level with IFS, so please bear with me.We had a custom event written for our 7.5 environment to email customers when a customer order was marked as delivered. We understood this may be a standard function in Apps 10 and would like to recreate this. However, when I go to create an event action, I’m puzzled what to use for the “TO:” field.We aren’t using a report for this - just a simple body of text to a customer specific email address notifying them that an order was delivered including the number of that order.I see in “available substitution fields” that we can use variables to insert, but as usual, they are not clearly defined/labelled/documented so we don’t know what they are or where they are configured.Ideally, each customer would have a “contact” or address defined that would receive these notifications. From what I can see, we would have to create a new event action fo

IFS Cloud - 24R1 - Skill Setup with 'In Use Cost' - Request management area

Hi Experts,I am trying to assign skills for my resources and use them in request tasks. My question is on field ‘In Use Cost’ (tool tip help : The cost to apply when the skill is available at the time and being used) in skill setup. I have set this value as 30 and did not use any other setups like skill levels.and then assign this skill to one of my resources. The first thing I noticed is that ‘in use cost’ in skill did not inherit. (Is this correct?)Then I created a request task with plan start and finish date within above date range and add above set skill as a demand. If I report time against this demand (with an assignment for the above resource or not) I always get the cost setup in resource group(which is 10).Can someone please explain if I should follow any other setups or my thinking about this functionality not correct?Thank you,Roshan..

PSO Transitioning from Soap to Rest

Hi All,We are transitioning from Soap to the Restful Gateway, the Rest calls etc are fine and we have these working, the problem is that we need to remove the webinterface installation on the server but this is currently used to pull in the Service Reference to serialize the xml from the IFS Workbench into a DsSheduleData object so that we can use it in our inhouse code and then serialize it back to send back to IFS.My question is where can I get the DsScheduleData schema/object from when we don’t have the Service Reference to pull it from?I have located the DsScheduleData.xsd in the install documentation folder and created a class file from it using xsd.exe but this does not replicate the reference file obtained via soap so our code can not use it the same way.I also found a Schema.dll in the Restful Gateway folder and tried to import this but I get dependency issues and cannot load it into code,I may be missing something very simple but I am hitting my head against a wall at the mome
