Dear Community,  Have anyone seen that error when we try to open an attached file from IFS EE Apps8?  When I checked the check out folder, it looks the attachment file was not created. It looks EE are not able to create the file there. But the test environment is able to create the file and open it without any issue. This happens in every client machine, not just in only a few. Has anyone seen this earlier? Thank you very much for any thoughts. Best regards, Balazs

Is there a screen in IFS Apps 10 Aurena to view the historical interruptions that have been logged? I want to see all interruptions and the length that a shop order was on stop for. Thanks!

Hi Community,I would really appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction to troubleshoot the below error.Point to note:Out of multiple available layouts only one the standard IFS layout of the Pick List for Material Requisition can be previewed. All the others give the below error. Exported the erroneous layouts and loaded on to another Apps 10 environment and tested. It works perfectly fine. Imported custom layout from another environment to this environment and tested, it works perfectly fine. Hi All, I’m looking for more information with regards to the use of Object Type and Type Designations on the Serial Object. What are they used for and how exactly do they influence each other and what are some use cases for them. Situation: I entered a Type designation 0001 that I connected to Object type 600. Both of them were linked to Technical class 005. Question 1: So when you go to the Serial Object, you can select a ‘Type Designation’ and the ‘Object Type’ will be completed with the object linked to the Type Designation - so far so good.But when both fields are empty and you select an Object Type, the Type Designation does not get auto-filled. Is there any reason for this? Why does Type designation autocomplete the Object Type but not vice-versa?  Question 2: it seems to be possible to add different technical classes to the Type Designation and the Object Type, while they are interconnected themselves (changed Technical Class for Type Designation to TC2 instead of TC5) . Hello, Hoping you can help.We need to create an end point(IFS10) to pass to a third party to return three fields of information. My understanding is this achieved via the IFS Developer Studio. I create a projection, which will give me an end point and via postman i can send the data which will be later used to run a transaction created via stored procedure.Not used developer studio before and seem to hitting errors when creating the projection, not sure if we need to use the service layer and if Aurena is involved. Hoping to hear of anyone that has set this up please? ThanksRoss

This seems to have been asked a few times but I’m struggling to find a resolution.We are running IFSCloud 24R2 and have our engineers using the IFS MWO Service app.We currently do not have SSO enabled so are logging in using credentials set if IFS Cloud but are finding these time out on a regular basis which is causing our engineers a lot of frustration having to keep logging in.   Has anyone found a good way to resolve this please as this is becoming a major issue for us.

We need to set a flag on task based on the ARRIVED status if that is within the customer’s geofencing area.However, in theory it should work using basic setup, while it is not working practically.Any pointers please?

Hi Team, There was an advance invoice done by customer and we already refunded the same, but there is a positive CUPIA in the system and we need to clear that from customer account and customer analysis screen in IFS.We've already created the credit note and tried to clear it, but every time automatically the positive CUPIA entry is getting generated. We've also done adjustments and rollback of transaction but still no luck. can anyone help in this. 

We are running into an issue where we invoiced a service contract, credited the service contract and now want to change pricing.  Cloud is not allowing us to change anything.  We tried delete, price change, reval, etc. Any suggestions?

I would like to report machine time through machine clocking in Shop Floor Workbench (SFWB), but report labor time based on received quantity (if this is possible).  I have set the work center Time Reporting Settings as follows:where Auto Report Labor Time with Qty is set to Always.  When I test this, I start production on the Shop Order through SFWB and select Machine Time only.  I then go to Approve the operation and receive the reserved Lot Batch with Auto Report of Operations selected.However, when I review the Labor and Operation history, there is no labor reported.  I was assuming that having Auto Report Labor Time with Qty would result in labor reported (transaction code LABOR_RPT) per the standard based on the received quantity.  However, all that is reported is the OPFEED transaction with qty and machine time.  Is what I am expecting mistaken, or is there a setting that I have missed?

Within IFS21R2 new functionality becomes available for presenting a product assortment.When I use non-inventory sales parts only I don't see the parts.Are they to be configured in a certain way or are only inventory sales parts allowed/shown via the B2B portal?

I am seeing a task where you can cleanup customer orders and one of the selections is for cancelled order headers.  I believe cancelled orders would not have any transactional history and really are only taking up space.  I tested that and was able to delete the cancelled customer order for anything older than 12/31/23.  My question is, can we do the same thing with Distribution Orders and Purchase Orders?  I am aware of the concern of deleting something that has transactional history and I don’t want to do that, but I would like to get rid of stuff that never had anything happen.Suggestions?

How can I make a field type controller in to a look up . As I know Control type should change and should have a reference to be a look up  . is there a way to do this by just using page configurations ?

Hello,during the creation Supplier for purchase part we define the price per UoM; e.g.:1 psc = 50,00 PLNbut we have the cases when the price depends on the purchased qty, e.g.purchased qty between 1-50 pcs - 1 psc = 50,00 PLNpurchased qty between 50-100 pcs - 1 psc = 40,00 PLNpurchased qty between 100-200 pcs - 1 psc = 25,00 PLNcould we define  somehow in IFS this kind of pricing depending on purchased qty for one Part?could we assume any condition here? in order to have appropriate price during cretation demand/PR.

Hello everyone We have a strange occurrence whereby the cost recognized is different from the actual cost for a project that is POC Income First. The first line for example, shows actual cost of 4,450.71 but the calculated cost recognized accumulated is 23,801.66 . My understanding is that if it is POC Inecome First then the cost that will be recognized will be equal to the actual cost. Would anyone have an idea of what would cause such a discrepancy in this case? Any thoughts would be appreciated.    

Hi, we want to implement Large Order Quantity check.I would like to get some fields. Can someone please help me to get the right value in DB?  On Hand Qty for a part, I found it in table IFSAPP.INVENTORY_PART_IN_STOCK_TAB, but it can have multiple rows because of receiving part. But I would like to get a sum amount of a part like IFS showing in page. Should I sum all the rows relate to the same Part_NO? Or I can get it from some other places? Dose Catalog_No in IFSAPP.CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE_TAB is as same as Part_No?

If an employee send in a absence request for parental leave 50% for the period 2025-10-01 to 2026-03-31, how should that be filled in? Should we set “hours per day”? Hi,We have Apps10 and with Boomi are trying to add a line to the Customer Order Line history table.We have this working in IEE using the API call but with Boomi are getting the ODP_ILLEGAL_STATE error message. Is there a work around for it.In API Explorer I can not see a Create (Post) command. Also interested if it can be done in IFS Cloud

Hi everyone,Did anyone experiencing an internal server error while logging into IFS Cloud? It happens randomly even with initial load on IFS Cloud. Sometimes refreshing the page doesn't work. The user needs to restart the browser or navigate back to the startup page and log in again. Is this a cache issue?  We are using Google Chrome. Are there any tricks to get rid of this?Thanks!

Hi all,i am trying to create a links list to several internal adresse without data source. When i test the navigation links In the element designer, and they work fine. But this links list element, cant be added in the lobby. Then I tried to use a standard links list: DEVELOPMENT PAGES MANAGER in a lobby, and this element cant be used either (by clicking the element, it is not added in the lobby).  Can someone explain how  to create a links list to internal adresses without data source?Thank you in advance! Regards,Shirley
