We are using App 9 with Avalara AvaTax connector for tax calculation. Florida has a discretionary surtax rule, where they have a cap of $5000 for county tax. This applies to the most Florida counties. The problem we are facing is the customer order tax amount is inaccurate, but the associated customer invoice has the correct tax amount. This is caused by the way IFS is sending the data to AvaTax.That is:Customer order sends each line item to be calculated.As for FL discretionary tax, any amount over $5000 is exempt from the county tax.For instance, when a line item amount is over $5000, the correct tax amount is calculated. Majority of line items are under $5000, so the sum of the tax on the customer order is inaccurate.Whereas the customer invoice tax amount is calculated with total net amount, instead of each line item.  Therefore, it is creating a discrepancy between the customer order amount and the customer invoice amount. Has anyone experienced the same issue, and did you find an

Hi,We have several people can modify the configurations and implement new UI or workflow. But here is one issue about merge the change. How to make sure one person publishes his new change (From ACP, e.g. Developed from dev environment and imported to test environment) won’t affect the other changes which were published in test environment already? There are several scenarios.A changes CO page in test environment and B imported CO from an Application Configuration Package. After B imported CO page, then C wanted to import his change using another ACP.We tried this, sometimes the changes got lost by over written. So we would like to know a good way to mantain the page configurations. 

Hi Everyone, We have noticed the recently created KB article from IFS (KB0085167) state that the Removal of Basic Auth Support by Microsoft on Exchange Online.This states "If you are using the Basic Authentication to connect IFS Connect Mail Sender or Mail Reader to Exchange Online, these connections will stop working in September 2025" and the fixed UPD29 will be released in August.Practically, this time period would not be sufficient to build and install UPD29 by September.When we checked the provided link to Microsoft Tech community it states that the change would be starting from 1st of March 2026.https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/exchange/exchange-online-to-retire-basic-auth-for-client-submission-smtp-auth/4114750Quoted from the MS link:We will be making this change beginning March 1st 2026 and completing April 30th 2026, (previously September 2025). Is there any new updates for the planned date for this Basuc Auth support removal according to IFS?

I’m trying to determine how to set up the discretionary sales surtax, as we have customers located in Florida. Most of these customers are also subject to a surtax cap, which typically applies only to the first $5,000 of the taxable amount. Each county has a different surtax rate and cap as well. Any guidance on this topic?

In our IFS Cloud environment, the extracted organizational structure is based on active employees and their reporting relationships. However, the current chart does not display vacant positions.For example, if a manager resigns, their position is removed from the chart, and the reporting line is redirected to the next higher-level position.What I would like instead is an org chart based on positions or roles, rather than individuals. The chart should reflect which positions report to which, so the full company structure—including vacant roles—is visible. Ideally, employee names should be included where applicable, and positions without an incumbent should be marked as “Vacant" Can you please provide some insight on how to get these results..

Hi,how IFS can support scenario:inventory part was issued and connected to project activity via material requisition Project was finished and closed After some time issued part will be decommissioned and return to inventory for refurbishment (repair). Once repaired it should be put back to stock with 0 price and be ready for use in another projectHow to create return in IFS that is not linked to material requisition (due to project being closed), receive return into inventory (not ready for picking), and once part is repaired move it to regular stock (ready for picking)?thanks in advance for help

Hi, I have tried to attach standard Entity ProjectTransaction to CcCase entity. I have created a custom field which fetches the activity sequence of the activity connected to the case (from business objects)Furthermore I have created the following Projection Configuration which is published.But when trying to create a new list in All elements, I can’t find Project Transaction. I have looked through the entire list - and nothing matches with either ‘Transactions’ or  ‘ProjectTransaction’. Can anyone help me - am I missing something? Then environment is Cloud 25R1

Hi,I am trying to use Manual_Credit_Check function to check creditI tried the Manual_Check in CO page, and check the response by Fiddler, it shows no error But When I call DB function IFSAPP.Customer_Order_Handling_SvC.Do_Manual_Credit_Check, it always shows “credit limit is exceeded”.So, I would like to know whether there is some special logic in API code. That means I use the function in DB won’t get the right result?

Hi everyone,When creating a supplier check with a voucher text (e.g., "check number" as shown in the image below), this text is carried over when the check is cashed, but only on the line of one accounting account. We would like this text to appear on the line of the bank-linked account (defined by posting key PP1). By default, the system uses the bank name (e.g., “SG” as shown in the screenshot below).How can we ensure that the text entered when creating the check is reflected on the accounting line defined by PP1? (Except doing a mixed payment) Thank you for your help

Hi All,IFS CLoud 25.1.1I came across a strange issue. I have downloaded the CRM Panel manifest file and loaded it in Outlook.I can connect to CRM Panel, but I have issues when I try to create a Lead:I fillout the Country and Language, but when I press Save, the data gets lost and I get CountryDb is manadatory error.Any ideas if this is perhaps a bug or I’m not doing something right? I’ve used CRM Panel before and didn’t encounter any issues.  

We are trying to load Open Customer Invoices with Parallel Currency using the STDCIN2 template where the are 3 amount fields feeding in to N31 to N33 Parallel Amounts in STDCIN2 file templateAfter swapping the amounts around a few times, it seems N31 does not appear anywhere in the Load ID’s created invoice, N32 seems to be assigned to Tax Amount In  Parallel currency and N33 seems to land in Net Amount In Parallel Currency. This render us the problem that the invoice’s posting is empty.Yes, we can adjust the value manually in the Posting Info.But that sort of defeats the purpose when the we boldly presume the fields are in template for a reason. Loaded resultsSo, we are reaching out to the Community, maybe someone had  similar experiences or has an idea to a resolution - other than correcting it manually 🙂Maybe there something obvious we are overlooking.

Hello, We’re currently working through our upgrade from Apps 10 to IFS Cloud and our biggest pain point is really the IFS Cloud support for Crystal Reports. In Apps 10 we have a lot of custom right-mouse button menus to print reports (quick and operational). These RMBs also pass variables. It does not appear that this functionality is really there in IFS Cloud. This greatly diminishes our customer experience. I know that Arcwide has a potential solution out there, I just wanted to see what others were doing to achieve this. We can’t be the only customer feeling this. IFS VOICE OF CUSTOMER - this sucks and we hate it. Find a way to work with SAP and give us a long term solution. Crystal Reports has been a staple of the business world for a reason. We are accustomed to this functionality and want to keep it! Any help is greatly appreciated!Mike  

Hi When we terminate employment on IFS Cloud the resource still remains active in the resource groups on the resource structure. Only the resource capacity validity period is updated on the termination but the resource can still be allocated to projects. Yes the system gives a warning that the employee is terminated but its still available. Also the employee/resource is not removed from the existing project allocations. How can we get the termination to remove the resource or deactivate it?
