Received - Not Yet Invoiced Report different for inventory and non inventory parts

I have made an Excel Template for the Received - Not Yet Invoiced report. It works great but……The data generated by IFS - if it is for non inventory parts - is incomplete!This is for Inventory Parts: While this is for Non Inventory Parts: How can I get the Currency Code in my Excel Template if it is not part of the IFS purchase_receipt_rep??Why is it not in the IFS purchase_receipt_rep for non inventory parts??

APPS9 PM Planned Finish Date generation

When we generate a new Work Order and then go to the Prepare Work Order page, and the Prepare tab, there is a Planned Start date and Planned Finish date.  Currently, the Planned Finish date is equal to the Planned Start date plus 7 days.  I do not understand how the scheduling engine is working and do nott wish to manually change large quantities of WOs. How can I change this default calculation from 7 days to 30 days?  (I am in MRO and Fleet Operations, using this module for facility and equipment maintenance in a manufacturing facility).

OData GET Returning ODP_RESOURCE_NOTFOUND

I’m building a custom external integration for IFS Cloud, using the OData REST APIs. I have some projections that seem to be working fine, for example, if I specify a valid CustomerId to this endpoint, https://<our-cloud-url>/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CustomersHandling.svc/CustomerInfoSet(CustomerId='VALID-ID'), I get valid data back. However, I have some projections that are always returning ODP_RESOURCE_NOTFOUND. For example, I’ve tried a variety of ways to get the data for a Shipment. https://<our-cloud-url>/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ShipmentHandling.svc/ShipmentSet(ShipmentId=1) and https://<our-cloud-url>/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ShipmentsHandling.svc/Reference_Shipment(ShipmentId=1), even tried getting the overview list of shipments using https://<our-cloud-url>/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/ShipmentsHandling.svc/OverviewShipmentSet, but that returns this:{  "@odata.context": "https://<our-cloud-url>/main/ifsapplicati

Column Chooser Option for Custom Fields

I am trying to put custom fields visible through Column Chooser option. As i move the Custom objects from hidden Objects to Visible objects, It is not becoming visible and disappearing from visible to Non visible fields. Can anyone help here?

Definition of 'Project MRP' (pMRP)

Hi, The business I'm employed by is considering the purchase of Project MRP (or pMRP) to compliment our existing packages (IFS Apps 10 and APB).   However, it's not entirely clear what additional features pMRP provides (and the problems this tackles that the 'stock' planning tools can't).   Can you please outline its key contributions to production planning or at least some information with respect to it. I can't find any detailed resources online for reference.   Many thanks, Jay

How to unallocate a matching (supplier payment or customer receipt) that was done in a previous closed period.

I’ve seen both, how to unallocate customer receipt and supplier payment questions here in the community, all answers reference cancelling the matching within the mixed payment to create a parked payment and then using the customer/supplier offset proposal to allocate as you wish. But you can’t cancel the matching if the mixed payment was done in a previous closed period.  And you can’t open an old period up as it’s been reported on and audited. Any ideas please?

IFS Cloud - Document Management - Flexibility to edit documents by multiple users at same time

Hi All, I have requirement from customer where they would like to have such option in IFS which allows multiple users to edit the same document at same time.As far as I am aware in IFS it is not possible to access the document by other users until it is been checked back in by the user who checkout to edit the document.So, do we have any such functionality in IFS Cloud?? or Any work around solution to achieve this requirement.You help and suggestions are highly appreciated. Regards,Mithun K V

Further Enhancement of Survey Input Masks

Once again thank you for taking my suggestion under advisement.  I hope that the constant feedback from our customers will continue to keep our product a best performer.The Idea: Our customer, SaskEnergy, has requested more robust data input masks and field validation within maintenance forms.  Specifically the customer is requesting an extension to our input masks to include widely available libraries available in most modern development environment.   Some example of future masking ability:Lower and Upper Bound numeric values without being restricted to predefined LOVs Lower and Upper Bound field alpha numeric field lengths Masks should not be included as extraneous characters in results ie. a 10 AlphaNumeric mask of 10 “%%%%%%%%%%” should not return trailing mask characters.  Currently this mask will return DOG%%%%%%% if only DOG is entered as a value.  The lower and Upper Bound should control lengthAt a high level the input mask should consist of three partsMandatory Part: Includes

Inventory parts of negative quantities cannot be included in Count Report

Why the Inventory parts of negative quantities cannot be included in Count Report Have recreated 3 scenario in 23R2 Regional test LKP . Site: WFMscenario 1 Inventory part with 0 qty,  scenario 2 Inventory part with 10 qty ,scenario 1another one with -80 qty. Count report is created for the SIV-M0003-1 = 0 Qty and SIV-M0001-1 = 10 qty.  But For SIV-M0002-1= -80qty count report not created.   In additional I found, in the Background job with warning  Its shows Error Key value  Why we have in the Error information it show Error Key Value.  Can anyone can explain me why the inventory part negative quantity in stock not able to create count report.

Document Revisions - Operation in Progress

Hi, The document revision with a file status “Object in Progress” cannot view the attached documents. Is there a way to change the file status of a document revision from “object in Progress” to “Check In”? I tried to detached the errored file and re-attached the same file and it generates new document number, However the document no. with file status “object in progress” is still appearing in the document revision. Thank you in advance :)

Consolidate price for similar part numbers on purchase order

Is it possible to consolidate pricing for similar parts on a purchase order? For example, if I’m ordering 500 each of a red, blue and white widget for a total of 1500 widgets, the supplier will extend the 1500 piece price. How do I get the 1500 piece price to show up on the PO when I’m order 500 of 3 different part numbers.

Action Button with External Navigation

The Action Buttons are created in PRD environment with External Navigation, to keep the "source page" open for the end user and then open the destination page in a new browser tab.The issue here is when we clone from PRD environment has been applied to the Test Environment and the same Action Button  is then used in Test Environment. Instead of opening the applicable destination page in Test Environment in a new browser tab, but the destination page is opened with PRD.How can we avoid having the destination page hardcoded in the AB and instead having the AB understand which environment it is being used in and then open the destination page in the corresponding environment?Any help would be highly appreciated.Thanks!.

How to remove a company from Matrix Graphical Organization Structure when it is sold

How to remove a company from Matrix Graphical Organization Structure when it is sold ?Can I please know how this is handled within a real business scenario in IFS? If a company is sold in the group and if we do not want to that to be reflected in the graphical Org. structure, what is the next step we can make without affecting financial and HCM data in the sold company.

Posting control T1&T2 MSC2 and C55 issue

When the MSC2 and C55 posting control is tested i do not get the expected result.The C55 in my understanding should use the Resource - Maintenance information - DepartmentThe MSC2 in my understanding should use the Employee Maintenance information ie the HCM module Employee Assignment - position. The current behavior for C55 and MSC2 seems to be 100% the same. The Resource - Maintenance information - department field is used as field for the posting control.Please verify and explain why two different posting controls has been created and how to use the HCM Organisation  position in the T1 and T2 setup. The most common setup is to use HR cost center in the T2 rule, as the home cost center will get the credit posting in a best practice setup.

How do you change the DB appowner name?

During the initial installation the DB appowner name was changed from IFSAPP to SYS1APP.Since IFSAPP is needed for IFS Managed Cloud, what needs to be done to change it back to IFSAPP?

How the shop order can be closed, When there is enough quantity in stock.

How the shop order can be closed, when there is enough purchase part in quantity in stock. Shop order is reserve partially. Recreated in 23R2 Regional test LKP.Manufacture part: SIV-M0002Purchase part: SIV-M0002-1, Note Purchased, Negative On Hand Allowed: On Shop orders no 204774Receive inventory part  in stock SIV-M0002-1 . only 20pcs*Created shop order with lot size 100  > Release the shop order > Manually reserve the inventory part*Now the shop order in partially Reserved.( because we have only 20 pcs)*Just directly issue- When I issue shop order status is completely Reserved.  *Next step I Receive the item. Now the shop order is closed. Shop order closed due to the option Negative on Hand Allowed: On  , in the purchase part. Why no Warning message is pop when receive the material.

Adding new control type for the standard defined list of control types

Hi All,I have a customer requirement to define a posting control based on work type to map the revenue posting generated in sales invoice. As the work type is not a control type which is defined in the standard list of control types available in posting controls related to sales invoice postings, is it possible to define this control type for the standard list of values via a development? Any ideas on such feasibility?

IFS Cloud report customization

I have customized a IFSCloud 23R1 standard report and when finalizing the development normally the report model, schema, rdf and the layout (optional) need to be committed to the solution repository.Schema is generated based on the model but the rdf has manual changes with my customized business logic.If I commit the report model file to the repo , it might regenerate the rdf again during a sanity build.a marble code as below will also not work I guess.codegenproperties {   GenerateRdf  "no";} I can commit only the rdf and schema and finalize my work but report model file should be in version controlled to align with future core update changes.I want to know whether the report model will be included for the build for code generation in a sanity build (but we still commit the schema  file into the repo although it generate based on model).In that case any way  to force framework to skip generating rdf  from the report model?@ChanakaAmarasekara ,your input would be really helpfulThank yo

Scheduled Quick Reports with Dynamic Subject or Dynamic File Name
