One example :A calculated leadtime for a Purchase Part gives 92 days: Supplier Manufacturing Leadtime 42 days, External Transport Leadtime 10 days, Internal Transport Leadtime 40 Days Distribution Calendar 5 working days a week. Purchase Proposals is created by a leadtime on 108 days.Can someone explain the difference. From my perspective it seems that leadtime calculation  is not using same calender as order proposal for Internal Transport Leadtime. (IFS version 10).This result in wrong information on Inventory Part as well as Inventory Part Availability Planning.Manual order also verifies leadtime as Order proposals. From application help Internal Transport leadtime shall be using internal Distribution Calendar. But it does not.Do anybody have faced this problem before and/or have a good explanation. 

Hi All,One of our UK Customer's mentioned that , Citibank have now shared the requirement (see the attachment) that is mandatory from 1 May 2025 to capture purpose codes for CHAPS payments in the UK in line with the ISO 20022 standard. Do anyone of you have any idea about whether we need to do any changes/development for APP 10 IFS Customers ..? or IFS  has issued a new correction to comply with this UK requirement. Appreciate your prompt reply.

Hi, Is it possible to install multiple IFS CLOUD containerized Middleware servers using the same Windows Managed server?EG: Installing Linux MWSs of both UAT and CST environments using one Windows managed server.This will reduce the number of servers required for maintaining the test environments. Thanks.

 I have 2 global codes (NOTE_TYPE_A and NOTE_TYPE_B). NOTE_TYPE_A is the parent code name for NOTE_TYPE_B.I have 2 combo boxes that populate their values; however, combo box B (NOTE_TYPE_B) is not dependent on combo box A (NOTE_TYPE_A).I have followed this link but it is still not working for me  

Problem:IFS workflows don't perform that well, but we're unable to quickly determine the specific point at which it does.  Solution:Add a timestamp in the troubleshooter automatically at every step. We don't get back how much resources we used, but at least we can see how it progresses through the steps.

Good morning,I am testing the use of Multi-company allocation and on the CA voucher there is no Currency amount.I can see the Base Amount and the Parallel Currency Amount, but no Currency Amount.Am I missing something?We are working in IFS 10 UPD 16. Thank you,Cora

What is the significance of IFS specialization certification? Do we get any new features or product update after certification. 

Good day, all.When I am revising planned or wanted delivery dates on PO, IFS changes the price. The price also changes when the qty changes, even just +/-1. The price it reverts the PO line are outdated or even zero.Is there anyway to stop the PO module from automatically changing prices when revising dates or qty’s?To add, this mostly occurs in site to site POs.TIA,Dave

I often need to switch between CRM Panel data linking to multiple IFS environments (different IFS Customer engagemets in parallel).  If I uninstall the existing add-in and try to install a new one, the old one seems to stay in place for a while.  Is there a particular action to refresh this so that Outlook connects to the “new” environment?

Hello,I have configured the putaway feature and I am able to generate transport tasks using the “Refill All Putway Zones” function but when I attempt to use the “Receive Into Arrival, Perform Putaway” at time of register arrivals I get this message “No putaway location could be found for 1000 ea of Part 70-050598-00, Revision 2 currently stored at Location 3045". Is there another configuration that needs to be done for receiving? how IFS Cloud handles Customer Orders (CO) linked to External Projects? In Apps 10, the system allowed pre-posting without needing a Project Activity, but in IFS Cloud, it now enforces that an External Project must have a Project Activity before allowing pre-posting? Thank you.

Hi. For the go live, my client has to migrate more than 2000 files to IFS. The files are in a folder shared. Is there a tool in IFS to migrate all at once?  Is there anything like a migration tool?I’ll only find the screen Upload Document, but it is no effective to the first time due the number or documents. Any idea?Thank you in adavance. Sergio

This is a bit of a basic question, but like all things IFS, the UI is so rich in configurations that maybe I’m missing something… I would like the Search Bar to always show, I keep moving from screen to screen and, for the type of work I do, I have always using the Search Bar so I have extra clicks to display it every time I move to a new screen, which is a productivity killer. Can this search bar be displayed by default when you open a screen without having to do the extra-clicking to show it?

Is there a way with either a workflow or report rule, that lets you print an attachment once an operational form is printed? I have attachments for shipments that I would like to have printed when I print the shipment delivery note. I have added the capability for attachments to be added to shipments.Any advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Hi All,I am seeing this odd behaviour in cloud 24R1 version. I received my serial tracked part to an arrival location. I didn't specify any serials yet. Then I performed the inspection and scrapped that part for no credit.  Now when I try to Undo the inspection results, it gives me this error message.  Anyone else faced the same issue? Thanks,Chamath

Hi Everyone,We have recently upgraded from APPS9 to APPS10 and have noticed that on the production receipt that the option to Backflush and Defer Backflush is no longer available.Has this capability been removed from APPS10? And if so is there an alternative procedure in APPS 10 to replace this?Many Thanks,Dan
