Hello dear IFS Community,

I was wondering if there is a possibility to link a sales part to a customer. Our issue is as follows:

We are creating a new part number for an existing product that will be updated. Some companies have a very long and complex process of adding our new part number to their system and will therefore keep buying the old version for a while. 

Is there a way that we could sort of “phase out” the old Part number for most customers and still allow a few to order it? 

Our workaround would be to enter a “replacement part” in sales part and every time a customer has to order the older version we would have to manually remove and re-enter the replacement part.
