I have created an OCT that associates the equipment image with newly created tasks.This works well, and the assignment list in MWO shows the image.For some tasks I would like to replace/override the inherited image with another one to let the user distinguish between normal jobs and component replacements. Is there a way to remove/un-associate the inherited image? When I upload an additional one, MWO still shows the inherited, not sure if it picks the first one based on creation. In any case, nothing I can alter.

We are currently running Apps10 and starting our Cloud upgrade project.  We own the engineering part module but have never used it.  The last time we looked at it was in our initial implementation project 10+ years ago.  It’s been suggested that we implement the engineering part module as part of our upgrade. My question is - does anyone know where I can find general information about the purpose and general functionality of this module?  I’m looking for what would’ve been a marketing presentation to explain it to someone thinking about buying it.  I need to put together info for our leadership about the module and this recommendation, and I don’t have the time to do a detail dive into the module before this info is due.  I’ve asked our IFS contacts - with no success so far.

Does anyone know what the message “There are some items which will be connected to an existing acknowledge payment object, which is Unacknowlegded, continue?” meansIt shows up when creating a new supplier payment proposal

Hello together,I just tried some things in the routing. I want to setup the costs for the setup time and the machine time, but for both fields “Setup Labor Class” and “Labor Class” lead both to “Manufacturing Labor Class”. How can I setup the setup costs and the mascvhine costs independently?Thank you.Regards Markus

Hello, Is anyone able to explain what exactly enabling the “Run Integrated with CRP” option does when you perform Site MRP in Cloud? There seems to be conflicting info, which is confusing me. The field help description states: If this option is enabled, CRP backward scheduling logic will be used to schedule shop order requisitions generated from the process. As a result, the start dates of the requisitions/receipts generated will be more accurate. However, this thread explains that the MRP calculation will use the routing information to calculate the fixed & variable lead time to schedule the SOR start date. It will only use the manufacturing lead time value on the Inventory Part screen if the routing time is 0. So if this is the case, what does enabling the CRP option in MRP actually do? This thread explains it is not the same as running CRP separately, i.e. the data in the machine & labour load screens won’t update until CRP is run separately. I think what I’m looking for is

We are recently moved to Cloud from Apps9 and have an issue where if we make a change to a Supplier Part or Description on a Supplier for Purchase Part record, these changes are not reflected in the PO lines of any open POs we have for said part. New PO lines added after the change, pick up the correct/updated part/description Does anyone know if this is ‘to be expected’, a bug, a workflow/process we’re missing, a new action required in Cloud vs Apps9? Any information gratefully received. Thanks!Linda

Hi, Can IFS handle the transformation of EDI xml files from Finvoice to other fromats as Peppol, EHF, Svefaktura for customer invocies. 

We have filled all the information in each of the tabs in ‘New Employment Assistance’ window. However, Finish button is greyed out. Any idea to fix this?  

How do i can login to IFS service center or change password because when i enter username/password but screen show invalid username/passsword. But i can log in normal as IFS Portal. 

We have an expression field called ‘Total Price’ on our Request screen that contains the formula below.sum(part_need.extended_price). Also shown below.This was created by a consultant some years ago. What has been reported by users is that is counts the part need lines twice. Example below where the Total Price calculates as double the expected value.On investigating I noticed that the part need table does not have a field called extended price so I dont know how this works at all.Further investigation reveals that when only the part need is present the Total Price calculates correctly. Only when the part need is shipped to create a part usage goes the value double. This would suggest that although the formula below seemingly sums only part needs. It is in fact summing part needs and part usages.sum(part_need.extended_price)Any advide would be appreciated.Thanks,Barry

Hi All,What is the syntax to hide fields based on uncheck of a check box in mobile. Hi,My customer will move Functional Objects between different sites, and there seems to be a very important functionality missing when doing so.When moving a Functional Object - the Object Site does not change (see image below). This creates problems when trying to change/create new PM Action or create new work - since the Functional Object cannot be found.  When moving a Serial Object there is a functionality to move to new site and at the same time create a PM revision. This should also be possible when moving a Functional Object.It is quite critical to make this work for any kind of object, PM Actions are a very vital functionality that cannot have this kind of missing feature.

We have a few thousand obsolete inventory parts (status = O - OBSOLETE). Is there a way to hide/archive these parts to stop coming up on Inventory Part searches? It is “cluttering” the screen and there is no reason for users to see these PNs.In our old system we [in general] archived parts that had been obsoleted for at least 2 years. Once archived, it would not show up on standard inventory part searches. There was a special way to search for archived parts and it was possible to “unarchive”, but seldom did we ever have a need to do this.Thanks

Hello, we have recently received the upgrade package for FSM6u30 and there is a conflict related to the supported version of iOS.  The Upgrade Guide indicates:IOS - Any device running iOS 12 through iOS 17 (including iPadOS) is supported. but the Release Notes indicate:IOS 18 SUPPORT - Support for Apple iOS 18 is now available in this release.  Can someone please confirm which is correct?Thank you,Richard

Command button custom page configuration will only process the first record in the selected list (multiple rows checked). Method on command button is set to ‘Action’ and it does process the first row successfully.Any ideas? Thanks 

When a person is connected to an resource group and when that resource group is their primary resource group the resource group is fetched correctly in time registration. But I am able to see the other resource groups and able to select other resource groups and saved the record too.An employee should be only seeing the resource groups only connected to them and not all the resource groups which in the company. Any solution for above. Our employees work in multiple resource groups and they are tagged in for specific resource groups?

I am getting the attached error when trying to specify an Internal Supplier and Supplier Site.  The error seems to suggest that there are already Purchase Parts at this site connected to this Supplier.  Do the parts need to be set up differently or is this an issue with the Supplier set up?
