We have purchased some LTU licenses and I have uploaded these permission sets into our IFS Cloud environment.  Can anyone tell me if I need to get an updated version of these LTU permission sets for Service Updates?  I am aware I need to ask for updated permission set for Release Updates, but unsure if I need to do the same for Service Updates.  If it is dependent on if the Service Update affects that particular area the LTU covers, is there an easy way to check to identify this?  

We are currently trying to use the order cover time on a manufactured part by setting it to Planning Method G. We want the demand as seen on MS Level 1 to be assessed over the cover time and used to generate shop order requisitions for the demand within the order cover time. However, Planning Method G only appears to work for Purchased Parts. Has anyone managed to get this work for manufactured parts?

Currently launching our first Site in IFS Cloud, and have varying internal experience and opinions on serializing parts. Specifically, stocking our finished goods in IFS Inventory with serial data.  I’m hoping to get some pro/cons from the community while we continue with testing. What has your experience been? Do serials complicate transactions in any way, inventory based or accounting? Are they benefiting inventory control? What didn’t you know before implementing serial tracking?Some additional details: We plan to use handling units for stock, picking/shipping. Our business is automotive based, and we are reviewing customer requirements for traceability. Thanks in advance for any and all feedback!

Is there a way to have the release numbers sort numerically ?  Example If you have line 1 release 1 and you get to line 1 release 10  on the table view line 1 and 10 will appear next to each other because of the leading 1. I looked in the page designer and didn’t see anything that might help. Thanks in advance 

Hello all,I created a shop order from a project “Create Project supply Request” . From the shop order workbench I could not find the shop order. I verified I don’t have any filter blocking.With the same filter on shop order workbench, I created a shop order and then I connected the shop order to the project and it worked. Does this mean that it is not possible to display SO on “shop order workbench” for all SO generated from the project? Does any one have an idea about this?

I want to know how can I filter observation of participants for supervisors?I should mentioned that I set up position access set up but all supervisor still can see all participants in training event form.I want each supervisor can only see related participants.Is there any form for setting up this access?

Hello, Is there anyway to add page specific thousand seperator on IFS CLOUD?   The setting I'm looking for is not under Account Settings > Currency Formatting Options > Use Grouping (Enabled).For example, a user wants to manually create a shop order with a very large lot size. After saving the shop order, the user wants to verify that he/she has entered the correct quantity.Or, when creating a configuration, a large number might need to be entered for a configuration characteristic value. In such cases, the user does not want to create an incorrect configuration due to entering the number incorrectly.Can a setting be made specifically for these pages or scenarios?Or, if not on a page-specific level, is it possible to set a thousands separator setting that is not related to currency formatting for general purposes? Thank You.

Hi, My end goal is to modify an existing report model. I would like to add other fields not found on the original entity/view of the report, but that are related in some way.I’ve gathered that in order to modify existing reports, I have to do it through “core files,” but I dont know how to download/access those core files.Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I’ve found similar topics to this problem, but the resolutions are not working for me.  We are trying to upload a file of customer payments to a Mixed Payment and have it match to customers.I’m using the File Type ExtCustPayment. After uploading, I receive the message: There is no record type 2_DETAIL in the file External File Template: External File Template Control Test file:  I’ve imported as csv and txt and got the same result. Any help would be appreciated. Hi IFS Community!I’m poking around in some of the %_SYS packages in the Oracle database, trying to determine whether IFS has a procedure for invoking the transmission of a file to an SFTP server through the IFS Connect configuration, akin to the COMMAND_SYS.Mail procedure. Has anyone stumbled across such a thing? This inquiry is applicable for IFS Apps 10 and IFS Cloud, both are on-premise installs.Thanks!Regards,Randy

We just updated our environment to 24.2.4. I tried the syntax of isNew() OR isDirty() but it looks like it only hides the markdown text entry regardless if it meets this condition or not. This is on the Invoice assistant of the Customer Page (CustomerInfo form). See below:​​Note: If I changed the Visible condition to just toggle to “true”, it is showing (when no conditions applied). See below: Am I missing something? Or Would there be another syntax to show the Markdown Text for child record (in this case, the Customer Invoice child record). Thanks! 

Is there a way to keep the filters on from GL Balance Analysis when drilling into the Voucher Information.  When I click on the Voucher Information from the Header or Detail Search, the Voucher Information page shows everything. We have IFS Aurena client version:  10.14.127.0. In IEE, the filter from GL Balance Analysis persists when drilling into the Voucher Information.  

The version is 24R2. Cloud. Is there a way to see the Supply & Demand information only for certain types of supply and demand? The Inventory Part Availability Planning page seems to have all of the data that I am looking for, but I cannot see any indication of the type of supply or demand in the details. In our company, we carry inventory of many parts. For many of these parts, in addition to selling from our inventory, we also have customer orders entered where the supply code is Purch Order Dir. I would like to find a page where I can view all of our inventory supply and demand for a part, excluding the Purch Order Dir data.For example, in the screenshot below I can see all of the Customer Orders, Purchase Orders and Purchase Reqs for this part. This information would be extremely helpful for inventory planning, but I have realized that it also includes any CO’s or PO’s that are Purch Order Dir. And I see no way to filter those rows out of the table. So in the end, this view is really not very useful for me

Is there a way to have visibility to the belongs to site for objects? The use case is objects will be moved from originating site and will need to be maintained in new site. Technicians need visibility to the site the object has been moved to.

Hello there,We are using IFS Cloud. I am trying to use GL Automatic Posting Rules to post certain revenues (original GL coding will come in via manual customer invoice; voucher F) into other accounts based on a certain percentage.  I have set up the "original code string" tab as below. I have allowed the project code part to be "%" to allow any value. When setting up on "Automatic Posting Rows" tab, the below error message popped up. The project code part is not the budget/planning code part and it is in the valid time interval. In this scenario, my intention is to retain the same project code part value from the original posting. The project code part value may vary in the original posting, which makes it impossible for me to set it to a specific value.Can you please help? I would greatly appreciate any insights or guidance you could provide on this. Thank you!

​@Thommy ​@Nethmini Kosvinna  On this original post Book Invoices on Finished Work Task No  it’s described the following: “This issue is fixed in app10 UPD 16. In UPD 14 & 15 you will not see finished work tasks in the LOV ( of the posting proposal window) , but you can manually add the WT number without any error . In UPD 16, it is not even possible to add a finished work task manually, it will pop up an error message when you try to save the record.”Has this logic been changed in IFS Cloud? (We are currently running 24R1 SU6)In the screenshot below our Finance Lead created a posting from a manual supplier invoice towards a Finished Work Task without the expected error message. We have several companies in the same environment, and some of them would like an error message for this scenario, and others likes that the system allows this.Are there any planned changes for this functionality in 25R1 & 25R2?   

Hello Everyone,We created our first custom component and it was successfully delivered to our use place client. We checked the Component Registration screen and it was not there.We checked the following: Confirmed the delivery installation was successful in the Delivery Registration Screen. Verified that the new component and the entities within it exist in the database. Checked module_tab and our component is registered and active. We checked the solution.yaml file and the component was active too. Refreshed the Server Cache within the client multiple times.Has anyone had similar issue where their component was registered in the database but not in their client after a successful delivery?

But I am getting the following error message: Ledger Account 1510 is only permitted for Vouchers with Function Group Q. How do I add Function Group Q as well as Function Group M within the Voucher Series per Voucher Type? Thanks!
