One of my customers is currently on IFS Cloud version 23R2, and their technicians are using the MWO – Maintenance app for executing work tasks. The technicians are performing the expected sequence of actions in the app: Accepting the work task Starting the task Marking steps as done Reporting time Completing and returning the task to IFS Cloud However, the transactions generated by the technicians are appearing in the "Failed Transactions" page in IFS Cloud as shown in the screen shot.To investigate, I performed the same steps using my own account in a test environment. My transactions processed successfully and did not appear in the Failed Transactions page.Could you please advise on

Hi,After updating from 23R1 to 24R2 we are missing list of value on Address Type under Warehouse Navigator/Remote Warehouse/Delivery Address/Address Type. Does anyone know where we can set up?

Hi Community,Something unusual has occurred, and I’m hoping for some insights.In the Sales Quotation > Lines section, the Price Freeze toggle is showing as OFF for each line. However, when I check the Sales Quotation Lines – Overview page, the same lines display the Price Freeze column as ON.This is happening even with a newly created Sales Quotation—without any manual changes, the overview page shows Price Freeze as enabled, while at the line level it's still OFF.Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Any idea how this discrepancy might occur?Appreciate your assistance.Apps version: IFS Cloud 24 R1 

The transmittal function does not show to have any updated functionality in the coming updates. At this time the transmittal function shows it is being both "created and sent" as an email, but no actual email is being created or sent.What is the plan?

The intercompany e-invoices are getting created without payment address Id and payment method in the invoice. Is there any ways to make it mandate? Tried the “Validate payment address ID’ parameter but still the invoice got created without payment address ID and payment method, without any load error.Tried to update the payment address ID and payment method manually before creating the invoice. The details got saved and appearing in external supplier invoice window but it’s blank in the invoice in installment plans and discounts. 

Hi Team, I am trying to import the connected object in IFS Cloud using EQUIPMENT_OBJECT_CONN view but I am not able to see the field (MCH_CODE_CONSIST) in Migration Mapping. Any Idea about this issue ? or is there any other way/recommended approach to do such kind of Parent Child relation migration in IFS cloud.  THanksLokesh

Hi All,It is possible to incomplete or cancel an assignment sent to mobile from Backoffice. Additionally, is there anyway to changing the status to other way? Any tricks?Use Case: Technician is working in offline area and started work. Due to the SLA requirement, the status of the work task should be changed to a status such as “On Route” or “Work Started”.  However, since the technician is offline, the status is not updated simultaneously. The Backoffice cannot update the status since it is downloaded to the mobile.Does anyone have an idea on how to handle a situation like this? TIA.

Right now, our IFS setup only allows an employee to request an absence for a full day or a half day, either starting at the beginning or end of the day.  We would like them to be able to set start and end times for their absence (say, for example, I have a dentist appointment in the afternoon and need to request 2 hours off from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., but then will return to finish my day.)  When I enter an absence request, I have “time from” and “time to” available and it allows me to type into the box, however as soon as I press Save the times go away. Any suggestions of what I need to set up in order to save those times in the absence request?

Hi Experts,We have a customer query on checking the feasibility of tracking technician location in real time (or closer to real time).From the out of the box parameters, I know that we can set the ‘LOCATION_TRACKING_INTERVAL_MIN’ parameter and get the location in about 5-minute frequency (at the latest). But the requested feature would require something more than the above setting. Is there a possibility to achieve this either from configurations or customizations? And how much of an impact it will have on the overall performance.

It is a great advantage if we can offer a standard interface for customer projects, which already have the basic configurations including Boomi connection, so that external DMS archive systems can be connected more quickly and easily. Currently, this has to be implemented anew in every customer project.You would then only have to configure the part Boomi → external DMS archive systems. The IFS → Boomi part would already be fixed in the standard system.The current implementation is that you can use the document class to define which classes are to be archived: Boomi also plays a link from the external archive system back into the document revision system so that the external document can be called up from IFS if required. At the same time, this is also the feedback that the document transfer

Can anyone please confirm what options we have within IFS to set up a data retention policy I.e. How long data is stored before it is deleted?We would need this to be different depending on the product range so not the same policy across the whole environment. This is to comply with UK privacy laws.

Since upgrading to version 27, the IFS Data Migration Excel Add-in has been updated from version 10.14.1.0 to 10.26.1.0. While the add-in installs correctly with version 10.26.1.0, it does not function as expected within Excel. Specifically, the buttons within the add-in (e.g., Connect, Settings, Info) do not display their labels and are non-functional, despite all prerequisite software being installed. The add-in works correctly in **Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2504 Build 16.0.18730.20226)**. However, the same functionality fails in **Microsoft® Excel 2016 MSO (16.0.10415.20025) 64-bit**. Is there a known solution or workaround for this issue?

How have others, or what is the best practice for protecting IFS Enterprise Explorer with Multi-Factor Authentication when exposed to the web via reverse proxy?Aurena is very straight forward, as you can just configure a Conditional Access policy for it to enforce MFA and target the Aurena apps.When configured as per the documentation we were given when setting up Apps 10 for O365 authentication, the Enterprise Explorer app doesn’t come up in the list of apps meaning there’s no obvious way to enable MFA for enterprise explorer, thus exposing IFS to the public internet with no MFA.One option looks like Azure App Proxy but interested to see how/what others use.

Hi all,I'm hoping someone who's already navigated the challenges of setting up REST APIs for AP automation might be able to offer some insights.We’re currently working with a company to implement their AP automation solution, and they’ve requested that we create REST APIs to send data to their system. Hi,The Time Card screen works in such a way that it only displays data for employees who are active within the specified date range. If I have a terminated employee, I can't search for them in this window. To view the data, I have to change the date range using another active employee and then search for the terminated one.In my opinion, this screen is poorly designed because the dates can only be changed in the context of a selected employee. In previous versions of IFS, the date fields were in the header, which didn't cause this issue.IFS replied that the behavior of this screen is in line with the standard.What do you think about this?Best regards,Krzysztof

I have a custom attribute that is a Date/Time field: I am trying to pre-populate the current Date/Time in this field when a new record is created. I am familiar with the process enrichment BPA flow, and I have identified the correct projection to tie into. I am also inserting the current user that triggers the BPA in a different field, so i know my flow is working correctly.
