When you use the Quick Expense Reporter in Aurena, we are unable to attach documents/media.When we try to attach an image we get the following error:We also get the same message when we try to attach PDF’s, ideally we want to be able to attach media as most people will be filling out expenses on there phone.Are we missing some set-up in  document management?Thank you.Nikki

Hi all,I am trying to set up the Onboarding Assignment Configuration and have assigned one Onboarding Program Template to be triggered on only Employee Category. I have placed it in the top of the list which should meen that this template should be choosen first if there is a match (In this case it should be triggered if Employee Category is equal to Konsult).But in New Employment assistant IFS pick the second one in the list. Does anyone know if this is a Bug or am I missing anything in the configuration-page?Best regards, Josefin

is there a way of only showing certain document classes for certain views? For example when creating an expense and you attach a document it only shows the document class you have set-up for expense receipts? Thank you.Nikki

Has anyone used the Special Events Lobby Element  ‘HR My Employees Special Events List’, Data Source ;HR_MyEmployeesSpecialEvents’.We want to be able to change the Work Jubilee dates from every five years to 2, 5 and 10, but can only find a view ‘Reminder_Special_Events_Sub’ but are unsure how to implement the change. We plan to change the IFS view, but copy and create our own version of the view. Anyone done this before or can give advice on how to changer the Jubilee dates in the Code?

We are using IFS Apps 8 and are considering offering Managers the opportunity to record sickness absence directly into IFS.  Whilst this can be done via Time Card Day, I was wondering if there was an alternative or better screen for this purpose that only offered direct subordinates and not everyone in the organisation, as is the case with some of the HR screens aimed at HR personnel.Having looked at the Absence screen, it seems that you cannot restrict this just to Direct Subordinates unless there is a method that I have not identified.  

Hello We using a CTU Licenses and every time we terminate employee using “terminate employment” function we have to manually find employee in “shop floor employees” and un-tick “workbench user” box to de-activate/remove the CTU Workbench license from use. Is there another way of doing it so that when employees are terminated using “terminate employment” CTU license also could be removed from user shop floor employee account? This is fairly time consuming manual process at the time.

Hi Community, We are using Apps 9 UD15. It has been identified that some direct employees are experiencing issues when clocking to jobs. If the work is performed over the period 12:00:00 PM to 12:01:00 PM, the system removes 1 hour from the total labor booking, for example: Employee 1:starts production at 10:45:00 AM on 17 March 2021Stops Production at 25:42:00 PM on 17 March 2021Total labor time should be 3.98 hours, instead what is reported is 2.98 hoursI then stepped through (in TRN) adjusting the start and stop times to check the reporting entry and all were accurate until the 12:00 to 12:01 period. In the testing, if the clocking was broken out into two discrete entries, all was OK. Please find attached my walk through. Any information or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Ken

We are running into an issue where a team member is terminated, the information passes from our employment software into IFS and then we cannot confirm, approve, authorize that team member’s final expense sheet.  We’ve tried changing their status back to Active and that doesn’t work.  Does anyone have any words of wisdom of what else we need to change so we can finish processing expense sheets?

I am trying to duplicate an existing Incident record in the Incidents transaction.  I can select the Duplicate button and I can update some columns, but when I try to save, I get an error message that The date of the incident is required to be incident reported date or an earlier date.  This works in Apps10/IEE.  When duplicating the record in 21R1, it’s duplicating the Reported Date and Time and that field is not editable.  It should enter sysdate into the Reported Date and Time as it does in Apps10/IEE.The same thing happens if you try to duplicate the incident in the detail record.

Hi everyone, I am trying to set up company credit cards for one of our customers and am not sure if it’s actually possible to do. They are using Apps 10 and when I try to enter the credit card details I have a mandatory field for the Card Type that doesn’t contain their preferred choice of credit card provider (Barclays). Am I right in saying Barclays is not supported or can one of the available options be used if the setup is identical? Thank youMaria

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone using Apps 10 Aurena is also using the Recruitment section in IFS? We are trying to implement this section and want to integrate it with an external career’s page but there is no standard IFS functionality available (apart from an XML file integration). Has anyone done this before? Any pointers into the right direction would be much appreciated.

Hello Recently we had to update out Timeclock accounts from using “Position ID” to using “Role ID”. Few days after we noticed that in Employee “Time Card Day → Interval” system no longer registers “Out Date”, “Out Time” and “Out Time Type”. Does automatic Absence “Out Date, Time and Time Type” requires Timeclock account to have “Role Id” with specific “Access Attributes”? We can see that “Position ID” used by the Timeclock accounts before had “Absence Plan” & “Absence Request” Attributes.Thanks for all your answers 

We have 3 guys on a compressed schedule, Wednesday has no time clocking until the Thursday clocking occurs.  When they clock in on Thursday, it's putting that clocking on Wednesday with a Thursday date, and then giving an error of "already clocked in" because there is no clock out for Wednesday. What are we missing in the setup of their work schedule to prevent this issue from occurring? 

Hi, I hope someone has experienced this and can offer some insight. I have a customer who is having issues when employees clock out using an absence code, (eg On company business), the clocking does not affect their presence within the system. When they clock in again, the error “Already clocked in” flashes up as they were always “present” in the the system during the spell in which the absence code was in effect. Does anyone know where to set the link between an absence code and the employee’s presence? I am trying to have the absence code, uncheck the “presence” box. The danger being that it’s important to know who is physically present versus not in case of emergencies. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, All!There is annual leave registered and approved for some employee.It is possible to assign Work Task for this employee on the dates interval within his annual leave.System does not give any warning.Is it correct?Or maybe something not configured properly from our side?Thanks!

I am using Apps 10 and there is a view called “Employee” that when I select everything from it in Oracle it does not return a lot of Employees that are in IFS. Some users who are visible  in all the relevant screens in IFS are not returned when I select from this view.I cant find any logical unit that is linked to this view. I need to know what screen in IFS is linked to this view so I can see why these users are not displaying in the select statement.Hopefully someone can help.

We upgraded to Apps 10 last October.  I have a user using sticky notes on Time Card Day.  Now in 10 the note will appear and you can type in it, etc…, but when you leave the page the note is gone.  I do not believe it is a permissions isssue as she can use the notes on other screens and the same thing happens when I am logged in as App Owner.  Any one else run into this?

I am configuring the incident distribution list, however I seem to missing a piece of the puzzle. I have the basic data configured, the distribution list is populating on the incident after it is confirmed / acknowledged…  However the state of the distribution list item is “To be alerted” even though the notification type is automatic.  I believe that where I am missing the mark is when configuring the event conditions.  My expectation is: when the conditions of the distribution list configuration have been meet, the corresponding distribution list will be populated on the incident.  Because the notification type is automatic, the email will be generated by the system per the configuration of the event action.Am I going in the right direction?
