IFS is currently not saving filters previously used to search in a screen.For example: If I search for a particular Project, when returning to the screen the filter is cleared. Usually, these searches should be auto-filled when visiting the screen in relation to your last search.Could this be a matter of clearing the cache?

I am trying to create an External Search URL. I have no problem with parameters except the date parameter. I have tried the link below. They did not work. Results look random. But when I erase the date parameter. The result comes true. Hi,I created a custom method to load the documents into IFS using default reader IN_DIRECTORY path. I could see the status changed into Checked In and also able to locate the file in EDM_FILE_STORAGE view (can view the BLOB file from PL/SQL). But it when checking the repository ftp location file is not there and also giving an error when trying to view. Appreciate any suggestions. Thank YouNimesh

Hello. I’m developing a Crystal Report for the Change Request Aurnea page, and wanted to be able to pass a parameter from the Change Request to be used in the Crystal Report. Is this possible? I have a parameter set up in the Crystal report itself for the Request number, but the user has to enter this number in manually. I was hoping to be able to pass the Request number automatically using the parameter mapping, but was unable to do that so far. Is there some sort of special syntax the Crystal report parameter needs to be in order to use it this way? I’m using a custom  ExecuteQuickReport action so that when a user is on a given Change Request Form record, they can generate a Crystal Report for that specific record.I’m using IFS 10 UPD 10. Hi,I hope someone can help.I have created two custom fields, one for Region and the other for Description. The fields will sit side by side, however, I would like to hide the label from the second Custom Field (Description). For Example: currently I have “Region: Description:  *Field*   *Field*”I would prefer to amend the Region label to include Description, so would like “Region Description:  *Field*   *Field*”So to omit the unwanted colon after Region.Is this possible?

Hi!When a lobby has been created by a system administrator, each user has a possibility to make personal configuration using My elements.When creating a new element (using My elements configuration), you can add items by the type “Add Note”, “Add Saved Search”, “Add Selection”, “Add Quick Report”, “Add Hyper Link”.Does anyone know if the “Saved Searches” can be put in by the administrator by choosing a saves search that exist in a base profile?The purpose is to get it into the base design of the lobby page instead of the additional personal design of a Lobby page.

Hello,I am getting up to speed on Purchase Part Characteristics and like what I see. These will be handy when we’d rather not add a custom field. I wish more LUs had “Characteristics”… (Is it just Inventory Parts and Purchase Parts?)However, I am perplexed by the "Find Purchase Part by Characteristics Assistant". It works -- I can bring up various alpha and numeric search fields and end up with a filtered list of Purchase Parts, but...then what? What is the point of displaying a bunch of records in a grid? If I want to access that Purchase Part in its most useful state (the Purchase Part screen) I would have to write down the part number (or CTRL+C) then navigate to the Purchase Part screen and search for it again. The Assistant does not even offer a way to export the search results to Excel -- that would at least be semi-useful.Even more silly, the final listing of results lets you edit the records as if you can make persistent changes to the data, but there is

This is a IFS 9 instance and we are using SSO.  This is only happening to 1 user.I have a user who gets the following error when trying to log into IFS after he clicks the IFS Explorer from the web page. Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Explorer: A fatal error occurred. How does the global extension works with the standard product? Is localization control center  visible only when global extension applied?Is global extension (or localization control center ) an add-on tool or part of the standard product of IFS ERP?Does customers have to pay extra cost for applying global extension over on the top of standard product? Hi all, If I need to get an file attachment from Outlook into IFS with an object connection to a sales part, I know of 2 ways: Drag the file to a file folder. Drag it into IFS explorer from there. Create the file through the IFS Outlook Add-in. Make the connect in IFS explorer afterwards. Both methods involves 2 steps. Is there a way to do it in 1 step. E.g. drag and drop from Outlook to IFS Explorer (not working)?   

Hi, We have some users setup with SSO and the majority set up with Database Authentication.We use Enterprise Explorer at the moment as Aurena isn’t in our pipeline for the next couple of years. (We are on Apps 10 UPD 8) We are in the process of setting up SSO so it can be used for Touchapps, and have setup the Active Directory authenticator to allow for these users who use SSO to complete security checkpoints - which works fine My issue is with the users who have the Database Authentication. When they try and complete a security checkpoint they are presented with the following security error “Error occurred during re-authentication. Check credentials and network connections”. The error message is also displayed for IFSAPP and we have no plans to create an SSO account for it.  Thanks, Callum

I get the error message in the attachment when I click ”OK” on Customer Statement of Account. My question is does this mean that the print job will not execute at all or does it mean it will execute after the job that is in the queue before it has executed? Thank you.
