Hi, Hope someone can assist me. I have setup a Report Rule to send Customer Invoices when they are first “Printed”. The Report Rule works fine when printing, however when the user Reprints “original from archive” the Customer Invoice to a physical printer, it resends the email again to the Customer. I do not want the Invoice to be resent to the Customer when it is reprinted. (it should only print to the selected printer) Also, when selecting the “Email” checkbox option from the print menu, I want the email to be sent only to the email that I have entered in manually. It currently sends the email the the manual email address and also to the report rule configured customer email address. Thanks for any help. Note, if I use the PDF_REPORT_CREATED event, it works accordingly. I am using Report Rules as I need to use a different field for the email address. (hence the sql in the Report Rule)

Hello, I've created a custom field called "A Date" for the sales order line. I need to make this custom field mandatory for sales staff. So I can't use "Conditional Fields.." and "Base Profile". When I add a custom event, I can't check for null or not. Because the field is already passing null. Do you have any solution suggestions?

There were several posts regarding the requirement of schedule execution of a custom script in IFS. There could be several ways of doing this and this topic explains how to build a common solution using Events and Scheduled Tasks. IFS has two event types, Application Defined and Custom defined. Custom defined events are based on triggers and can be created from IFS Solution Manager. Application defined events are created via script and the triggering of the event is done inside the PLSQL logic. Step1: Create Application Defined Event and action Deploy following code in database using AppOwner. Check the attachment for detailed script. Hello, We have configured IFS to connect with ADFS and SSO. Our sales users cannot connect to outlook CRM panel after the configurations and authentication not working for the panel which prompts only the logging. Anyone configured ADFS in crm panel ? thanks

Hi I am getting error in IFS developer Studio when trying to generate code for any entity/utility/projection … in 21r1 project. The error is: Exception while generating code for … Cannot open/read template file in template [jar:file:/C:/Users/kanaus/AppData/Roaming/DeveloperStudio/10.82/modules/ifs-dev-model-codegen-ibs.jar!/ifs/dev/model/codegen/apps20/lu/utility/templates/Utility.plsql.default.template] Any idea what is the problem and how to resolve it? Hello, my customer has an IAL that was scheduled for the 19. October 7 PM and has a runtime of about 7h. The Problem ist, that the IAL now has Failed Executions = 1, but the Backgroundjob is OK. Hence the IAL won’t run anymore. My guess is that there is an timout in the IAL managment after certain execution time and then the IAL is marked as failed but the backgroundjob is still running and after 7 h finished. Does anyone know whether there is a timeout implemented? Environment is APP9 I have now increased the system parameter for erroneouse IALs from 0 to 5, but I don’t think this will solve the general problem. Thanks

Hello IFS Community, After I added an EU Role to a user in one of our environments, the user could access the Customer Page with no problem. I made the same steps to our next Environment, and the user is getting an issue trying to access the Customer Page. See the screenshots for more details. Hi, It is not possible to see the selected company code in the client. Only the description. The selected company code should also be visible. It is easy to do mistakes if you have several hundred entities where the descriptions are similar. Which justifies that the unique code must be present to avoid wrong selection of entities.

Hi All, Is it is possible to schedule the report generated with report generator (Refer to the below screen capture)? All the parameters would be same, the only what changes is period. Report should be run the 4th-5th day of the month for the previous month results (on the 4th of October we run the report for data for September). Could you please advise if there is any option to make this as a schedule in IFS?

Hello Everyone, I have created a quick report for use in an Application Server Task. Everything is working fine, but I was curious if in the parameter section is it possible to have a dynamic date for the value? Are there any keywords that IFS recognizes that would allow me to have this report run for data from the previous day? The help at ...ifsdoc/f1doc/Foundation1/040_administration/230_bckgrnd_processing/030_app_server_tasks/default.htm#QuickReport_job_parameters just has “To be written...” so not a whole lot to go off of there. If there is not, the System Info doesn’t have any information regarding that form, but is it possible that there is an API that could be used to update that value? Thanks

E.g. this event PUR_REQ_LINE_TO_BE_AUTHORIZED will create a new message/notification for a certain user. BEGIN Pur_Req_Notification_API.Register_Notifications(&REQUISITION_NO, '&AUTHORIZE_ID', '&BUYER');END; This normally leads to an information in the streams in IEE or in the Notify me App. When using this functionality and clicking on it in the streams notificiation, you will end up in IEE opening a browser. No matter if it is an “element” or a webpage Default browser in IPE is set to Microsoft Edge Normal weg pages are working. But opening the link from the streams message results in an error Where it is stated, that this browser is not supported. When setting this to a http link and opening in the external browser, it is opening edge and aurena so there is a different handling in the browser when using “internally” and “externally”. In the Suppliers screen in our DEV environment of Apps10 the “Address Type” dropdown in “Address”-”General Address Info” is blank for every supplier. It should display this list Delivery Document Visit Pay See attached image. It is displaying that list in our PROD environment. I tried debugging it but it didn’t help much.

Is it possible to select the default selection in a “Question Message” as “No” so that if they press Enter key “No” is validated rather than the current default value “Yes”? Can the customer configure the default selected button by themselves?

Hi All, I tried sending an email through a custom event. But when the custom event is triggered the mail is not sent for any of the relevant users. The event action has the following setup Setup IFS Connectivity has the following. And when I check in the Application Messages it is showed that the event is triggered with all the relevant data related to the event. (Names of the receivers, Email body) Can someone please share any thoughts on what else I can do from my end in order to get this issue sorted? :) Best Regards, Kalpani

Hi, I have transferred a custom tab from IEE client to Aurena. I am now trying to convert the RMB to commands in Aurena. I have added the api to the projection configuration. Then gone to Sub Contract and added a new command - ExecuteAction under the new list I created. I pick the action but when it comes to the Parameter mappings I am unsure what values I should be picking? The parameter list only gives me the following: The context Value gives me the following: Any help would be much appreciated.

I created a report rule to send email to the AR contact. For the action property E-mail (Action Type = Preselect property) I wrote a Select query to fetch the AR contact’s e-mail address. When the Select query results out more than one e-mail address when there are more than one AR contacts, (or When I give two e-mail addresses separated by a semi colon ; ) ,the report rule is taking only the first e-mail address while it’s executing. Is there any possibilities to get more than one e-mail addresses while the report rule is executing? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, I am working on integrating Purchase Order Processing with one of our vendors electronically, thru an integration tool (BizTalk). I have queried out the PO data that I need to transmit, and for invoices I intend to use the ReceiveEInvoice Web Service/BizAPI. But I would also like to automate the Register Purchase Order Arrivals and the Reporting Reserved Quantities as picked thought the Quick Order Flow Handling, as the vendor will be providing a ‘shipments’ payload. Before I open up the Debug Console and manually do those steps capturing the PL/SQL to replicate in my own PL/SQL package called from my integration tool, is anyone aware of any webservice or BizAPI call that I could utilise for this? Hi For several of our customizations, we use built in packages/procedures such as Error_SYS.Appl_General to throw errors in the IFS client and stop what a user is doing if they/what theyre doing do not meet our criteria. How can we accomplish this in Aurena? I have not had any success using these procedures as part of our custom commands. We are using IFS 10.8 Thank you in advance
