Procedure parameter is not working

Hello,I want to copy purch control plan from template. I get PLSQL trace from IFS screen. It is working correctly. But I create a different procedure for using in different PLSQL block. If I call my new procedure commit is come but record doesn’t create in IFS. Anyone help me ?

Best Practice - handling Common User Accounts

Hi,Can anyone describe to me the “normal” (Best Practice) way to handle common accounts such as IFSAPP?It is quite common that more than one consultant (or employee for that sake) uses common accounts. Either a pre defined account (IFSAPP) or if it is one custom made user account for lets say IFS-consultants.We need to have unique accounts for every user. Consultants included. What I ask here is what the Best Practice is for the System Owner account IFSAPP. According to our regulations we need to log every single use of IFSAPP for the traceability of who was using the login and for what.How do you handle this? Please advise even if it isn’t Best Practice

Can the IFS Enterprise Explorer client run on Windows IOT Enterprise, on 10 inch screen?

Some of our users are wanting to run the IFS Explorer client on hand held tables. Would the iFS client run on Windows 10 IOT Enterprise verson, and would it be usable on a 10 inch screen, which the devices we are looking at have.?Would be good to know if anyone has experiennce with this. Thanks

Test-A-Rest Tool in IFS Cloud - Documentation/IFS Academy

Hi All,Since the build place envs are short lived envs, we may backup all the data setups before the envs expire and need to restore them back again in the newly ordered envs.I’m trying to find any documentation or maybe a demo or an academy course that explain the tool and how we can work with it.I could download the tool from the build place but have no clue how to use it.I’m very thankful if someone can share some information/sources regarding the tool.Many thanks!BR,Thilina

How can I create Streams subscription for multiple customer order lines. The field I'm trying to subscribe for is: "Planned Delivery Date"?

How can I create  Streams subscription for "Planned Delivery Date" in Customer Order? I have the subscription RMB for each individual customer order line but I would like to select the multiple customer order lines and subscribe to that field/column.

Quick Report with Crystal Report - What is the significance of the CR_WEB_INIT

I had a Crystal Quick Report that was not showing the data I needed.   I added the Shop Ord file and then connected the CR_WEB_INIT file to the Shop Order and not the customer order file in the query.   I have experienced two things. When I run the Quick Report - I do not get any data but I do get data on the Crystal Report server. When I try to run the Quick report, it is prompting for Sign on password and SchemaThanks for your help.

Prefix for Delivery Note Number

Is it possible to add a prefix to the delivery note number, or change the formatting in any way. I would like to differentiate it from the shipment number.

IFS Print Server Agent Server Failover setup Apps10 on Windows

HI, we have the IFS Print Agent for Apps 10 running on a Windows 2019 server. We now wish to create a setup for this on 2 windows servers that will allow for failover between them, in case of  server failure or when server maintenance / patching etc is required, as our printing needs to be running 24/7.Does the IFS print agent support Windows server failover, and if so, are there any specifc requirements or settings that need to be taken into consideration to set this up. We would set it up so only one of the print agents was active at any one time.Thanks for any information on this.

The part exists in inventory with Not Lot Tracking

Hi All,We have a request to update an existing part.Currently the part’s Lot/Batch tracking has setup as ‘Not Lot Tracking’ and need to update to ‘Order Based’. When we try to do this we are getting an error ‘The part exists in inventory with Not Lot Tracking’ because we can see data in Inventory part in stock.Kindly advise me to how to proceed with this.I really appreciate if you can give me your opinion.

Send REST API call from context menu using API Key Auth

I need a ‘Right-Click’ action that calls an external API endpoint using an API key. Here’s the scenario:We have created a custom logical unit table that stores incoming prospect information from our website displayed in a grid. I have created a custom context menu option (Push to Salesforce) that pops up correctly, but what I need to do is attach an action to that click that pulls specific column data from the row, and calls the API endpoint (https://test.endpointurl.com/v1/customer/{person_id}). It’s a GET method that accepts the PERSON_ID from the data row that was clicked. I’ve found a few posts that discuss how to call the REST API using the PL/SQL BLOCK method, but none address my two specific challenges:How to implement the API Key, not basic or bearer authorization How to pass column data into the parametersAny guidance would be appreciated.

Replace existing views of Crystal report with one new view

Hi All,I wanted to add another condition to an existing crystal report, so I have created one new view which includes those existing views.I tried to update existing views using Set Datasource Location, because I wanted to keep the same layout. But it doesn’t remove the previous links between those views.Is there any other way to remove previous links?  Thank you!

Database session has been expired. Please restart client application for Apps8

Customer is using IFS 8 SP1+ with 2 managed server with an external load balancer.Customer is getting error in random timing “Database session has been expired. Please restart client application” on many screens.Customer is configured with Dedicated session timeout is 7200, Ideal time parameter of Oracle profile is set to unlimited. Tried reconfiguring and restarting the application server and database. By passing load balancer also we get the same issue. Database is running on RAC.Does anyone came  across same issue or to identify the issue where else we can check for this timeout parameter apart from above mentioned.Answer on the below post didn't help my situation:There is no specific error in the Application and database logs.

timeclock errors

Hi all,APPS 10 Upd11.Between the early morning hours we are having new instances of both the timeclock machines logging out or being sluggish and throwing out error messages.They work fine throughout the day time so between 12am - 6am they are “misbehaving”. We have a nightshift operation so its rather essential that timeclock works. This morning the timeclock logged out completely.It is not being caused by scheduled windows updates.Any thoughts or ideas to debug this? So far i’ve only got these two error messages to go by;

Upgrade recommendation

Hi Community,We have a customer who’s planning to upgrade their on-prem Apps8 environments to IFS 21R2 or whichever the latest version and will be hosted in IFS (IFS managed) on high level my plan is as below as far as technical aspect is concerned;Upgrade current Apps8 database to Apps10 latest UPD on-premUpgrade Apps10 database to Cloud whatever the latest release on-prem“Migrate”  on-prem environment to IFS managed cloud.  Has anyone been in a similar situation before or can recommend what’s best for the upgrade project would be much appreciated.

Hello,How can I see a IFS Business Reporter report in IFScloud. In IEE it was possible to see the reports in IFS with the setting 'IEE Feature for Previewing BR Reports'.
