I’ve added event_sys.event_execute as a custom action via projection configuration. The action takes 3 parameters win which 2 of them are fine.The last parameter is of type message_sys in PLSQL, which creates a message with carriage return. But it seems like when mapping in page designer - it doesn’t allow to paste carriage return.question is, how can we go about this?we are simply trying to invoke an event that has an action with online SQL that puts an application message in the queue and sends it out using the traditional way.

Subscription Vs Perpetual license model: Clarification required :

Currently, we operate on a perpetual license model within Apps10 IE. We need clarification regarding the points mentioned below.1. Do we have the option to maintain the perpetual licensing model, or are we required to transition to a subscription license when we upgrade to IFS Cloud?2. Is IFS Cloud available for on-premises deployment with the IFS Cloud perpetual license?3. The same IFS10 Perpetual license can be continued without any additional cost in the IFS Cloud ( Cloud Perpetual License mode) .4. If we decide to surrender our perpetual Full User Licenses and Limited User Licenses, would this lead to a reduction in our current AMC costs?4. Is there is any category in the user licenses like LTU ( Limited Task User ) and Full User Limit.5. We need full understanding of the subscription model Vs perpetual license model, if any document available, please share the same.

Unable to change quick report schedule for non IFS admin users

Hi all, Noticing something odd when trying to schedule an SQL quick report in IFS cloud. (24R1) (24.1.2)When scheduling an SQL quick report as any non administrative user, everything other than the parameters are unchangeable from their default values. After entering the quick report parameters, The Schedule, Schedule options, and archive options can’t be changed, but the user is still able to create the schedule. In the below image, I can not change the schedule name, or the recurrence pattern at all On the next page, I can’t change the language code, select the report cue, or send the stream notification. And so on with the archive options. I am able to finish scheduling the reports with the defaults, and the report shows up in the scheduled reports. This doesn’t occur with operational reports, which allow the user to modify the recurrence pattern as expected. Has anyone resolved this issue? We would like to give our users the ability to schedule their own reports as opposed to havin

IFS Data Repair script

Hello,We are running 23R2. We have been provided an SQL data repair script by IFS support as a solution to a ticket. We have been advised to deploy the script using a corrective delivery. We followed cloud documentation and included the .sql file in a corrective delivery and deployed but the script did not get executed. IFS8 - problem with scheduled tasks after transferring the database

Hi,after transferring the database from Windows to Linux and enabling jobs, scheduled tasks do not run. Restarting the batchserver does not help, nor does re-enabling queues. Has anyone had a similar problem?

lobby page export does not contain all lobby datasources

Hi, I’m exporting lobby pages from one environment to import into another (Cloud 23.1.3). Several of the lobby pages have link list elements that use datasources on the links. When exporting the lobby page, some of the datasources make it into the export file but not all (typically more are left out than included). I have not found anything to let me know why it’s not including all datasources in the export file. The result is that the lobby page is incomplete when imported into the other environment. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Thanks!

Working on a Workflow to get the Clients IP Address

Hello, I am working on a workflow to display the clients IP address on their machine where the user located. We have an API that displays the Clients IP Address but we cannot display it on the client within a workflow. We were using inline JavaScript to push this to a variable. For some reason, we were facing issues whenever we call the fetch call to our API. We keep running into an error within the IFS workflow that we cannot call the fetch functionality within the JavaScript within the workflow. Has anyone been able to find a solution to get around this? Thank you.

Problem with granting reports for archive

After applying 23R2 (23.2.1) at a customer they noticed that after ordering an operational report through the order report screen and you want to go to the report archive to view the rendered report you get an error message saying that you are not granted when the report archive page is shown. Still, the report is there and you can open and preview it. I did some digging and the projection causing the error is <ReportProjection>.VirtualReport_CleanupVirtualEntity. But if you go to grant the report projection in question and try to grant the action CleanupVirtualEntity (which by the way is clearly visible in the API explorer) you can’t since there is no such action on the report projection. If you look at the OrderReportTemplate projection, there you will have the CleanupVirtualEntity action (granted that of course without effect) but the same action doesn’t show up in the actual report projections, e.g. the CustomerOrderConfRep projection grants.To me this seems like a bug in the

App message fails in IFS9 with transformer error

Projection Customisation Causing Error

I have customised an entity and added new column. Script Error when login to application

There is a script error when trying to login to application. This is an intermittent error faced by many users. Sometimes, if we select whatever the option [Yes/No], able to login without an issue. But on another occasion, error comes up again and again no matter what option we select, and not able to login to application. Have to wait considerable time to get this resolved, but error comes as usual. Does anybody familiar with this error and how to resolve it?

Toggle visibility in Page Designer using custom field

Not sure if it is even possible, but I created a new Group in Page Designer on our Expense Sheet Details page, and I would like for it to only be visible when the custom field inside it has a value. Aurena Advanced Search & Dates

We are running Apps 10 Update 11In the Aurena interface is there a way to search for a date that is say 3 days in the future? An example would be in Inventory Part In Stock and we want to find any items that expire in the next 3 days.In IEE I would use the advances/SQL query and use something like EXPIRATION_DATE <= trunc(sysdate)+3I’m trying to figure out how to replicate what we currently do in IEE in Aurena. Not that we are migrating to the cloud version immediately, but it’s going to happen sooner or later.

Cant create Custom field on standard LU

HiWe are trying to create custom fields on the Dangerous Goods Classification tab in the Part page, LU: PartCatalogInventAttrib. On IFSAPP10 UPD8This fails even with the simplest Text field with the following error: We dont quite understand it, because when we find the LU in the Logical units page it does seem to have a Base table: Is this expected behaviour and if yes, is there a workaround? Or is this an error for IFS support
