Hi, I’ve started to notice that in the last month or so, IFS (Apps 10 Update 15) is crashing - typically when a search dialog is open, and it doesn’t seem matter which screen. Are there any known issues with Apps 10u15 on Windows 11?

Hello,  I’m completely new to IFS10. I have no experience with IFS other than the exploring I have been doing over the past couple weeks.  I have successfully set up a couple stream notifications.  I have not done anything as of yet within the Lobby.  One of the ladies has a Widget (sorry if that’s not what they’re called) in her lobby that informs her when a current order has been revised.  She would also like to receive a Stream notification when that action has happened.  I have searched the actions or triggers and can’t find anything that would be considered suitable.   So my question is… Since she already has a widget within her lobby that notifies her when an order has been revised, is there something I could put together where that widget is actually the action or trigger for a stream notification?  My apologies for likely not using the correct terminology. 

Hi All,we are currently having an issue with creating new attachments and getting this error.I saw this post Failed to upload file to Ftp server [User cannot log in, home directory inaccessible.]and already restarted the FTP server, but the issue is still there.This is in IFSAPP 08.Really appreciate your valuable opinions and suggestions to sort out this problem. Thank you in advance!

Hello, I’m new to IFS and I’m having issues with setting my default printer. I've attached a screen shot of the current printer but I would like to change it to a printer that is on the network. how can I change this?Thank you!

Hi, May I know why camera option is not showing on Windows tablet (Rugged tablet with Windows 10) to attach media files to work orders in Aurena  Client (Apps 10 UPD 11)?The camera option is prompted on iOS and Android devices when trying to browse for media files but not in Windows devices. Appreciate if someone could share how camera option can be activated on Windows devices to upload media files. Thank you.

Hello,I am currently using IFS Cloud and I have created a scheduled database task to run every 2 minutes, and check if a Consolidated Pick List is ready for creation in the “Create consolidated Pick List for Customer Order” page. I have the parameter set up so it only applies to customer orders with site 100, but its triggering other sites as well.Any advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

Hello,I am creating Custom Layout Definitions using Crystal Report.I am currently having issues with the Service Quotation and the Service Order Acknowledgement. Since these two Operational Reports use the same Report Definition, and the same View, I cannot tell which report the user wants to print. I would like to have 2 buttons like IFS has, where one prints the Service Quotation and the other Prints the Service Order Acknowledgement, but from what I can tell, there is no way to do that.There is nothing in the table/view you can base your operation on as they use the same table/view, and 99% of the data is the exact same. The only thing different is the title of the report, and the fact that the Service Order Acknowledgement has a acknowledgement statement added to the page. Do I really have to have the user manually determine which one they want in the popup print window when they are already hitting the print button?Any help would be grea

Scenario: We do invoicing from Project Invoice and print reports PROJECT_INVOICE_REP and INVOICE_SPEC_REP - i.e. 2 seperate doc layouts. Question: Is there a way to - within IFS Apps 8/9/10 to merge these 2 outputs into 1 doc and - ideally - then email it using the PDF_REPORT event ?

Hello,I noticed that my shipment pro forma invoice was not populating with price/value data, and I noticed that there was another IFS Community question that asked about CustomsValue. Someone mentioned that the CustomsValue will be inherited from the Customer Order page, and go to the Shipment page. Even when I populate the CustomsValue field for Customer Order, it never changes the Shipment CustomsValue field. How can I tweak the transfer of data so that what I want occurs?Thanks,Bryan

Hi,we have an “alarming” red color for the Refresh Dictionary Cache. The user who is normally uploading permission sets has among others FND_ADMIN permissions, so we thought this should be enough to successfully refresh the dictionary cache. However, the user cannot succeed with that - the color does not change successfully. There is also no error message. No UI feedback.Do we have someone here who could help? IFS Support is silent so far.The user wrote:I have tried going through all the permission sets and refreshing the dictionary cache as instructed by IFS, and I have also tried to refresh it via Refresh Server Cache. Nevertheless, it is still marked as red and remains unrefreshed. How do I solve this? This is a problem in non-prod and prod environments. It behaves the same for all permission sets.

Hello!We are trying to add links to Power BI reports on some of our lobbies. We can add the link but when we click on it to navigate to the report, it will not load. We get the little yellow bars like it’s trying to load but never does. Has anyone successfully added a link to PO to their lobby. We’re on Apps10 UPD16 - Working on IEE lobbies.

HiI am in the process of creating custom projection, and to this projection i would like to add my new Oracle procedure, Test_Procedure, as a custom action. First i tried putting it in a Test package TEST_API where i added the lu_name_ and module_ constants, but Aurena could never find the package. I then added the Test_procedure to a existing customized package CRM_API. I can find the CRM_API and its other procedures in the custom actions selection on projection configuration but not my new procedure.I have cleared the metadatacache and the projection cache along with the server cache. Still no successTherefore i ask, what is required for a package or a procedure to be available to be added to a projection as custom action?Best RegardsNicklas

I have just created a custom component and a new topic branch to the customer solution repository for 22R2. Then I ordered a new topic environment, however this environment remains in the pending state. How do I check the pipeline logs on Azure DevOps for this build to see what went wrong. I am not seeing any pipeline running for the topic branch I have ordered the environment for.

Hello,We are currently having issues with our “Create customer order from Quote” process. We are getting the error “Error occurred while processing the request: Unknown property used in expression, ${LineItemNo} Cause: Cannot resolve Identifier ‘LineItemNo’The customer order gets created when the “set customer order to reserved” switch is active, but it still gets the error to appear. When that switch is off, it does not have a customer order get created. Since this is an OData format, I believe this could be an error with workflows or projection configurations, but no workflows or projections have been created that cause such an error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

What does Mismatch exists between copied routing rules? When I click OK the copied routing completes but I don’t know what this warning means. How do I find out what the mismatches are being referenced?
