Has anyone experienced issues with using Enterprise Explorer in high resolution?We have a number of laptops with 3200*1800 and if you are using that in combination with 200% scaling, there can be overlapping in displaying list of lines.For example in ‘Equipment Object Navigator’, where the tree structure would be a bit compressed and lines overlapping.We solved it by lowering the resolution to 1920*1080, but would like to go back to a higher resolution because of other applications.Is there any limitations in support for higher screen resolutions with Enterprise Explorer?(IFS application 10 upgrade 7)

We have been working on setting up a proxy to our IFS 10.11 DEV environment using Azure AD so that our external partners do not need to use VPN in order to access. Working with Hoist, we have had escalation up to the VP of Technology and still the issue is presented, even when following this IFS documentation exactly: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/040_administration/210_security/015_authentication/020_configure_azure_ad/default.htm Specifically, the below error is shown when attempting to access Aurena (IEE access works perfectly). The double “//” before “main” in the URL is strange - we have attempted multiple different setups in Azure, but are still unsure as to why that’s happening. 

What is the syntax to be able to call the parameter values into an Excel Layout? I am refering the the parameter values the end user need to enter when they call a specific report. I was asked to add those values to the Excel Layout so they know what parameters were specified when they generated the report in Excel. Those parameters are often part of the PDF basic template: 

We commonly face the issue of duplicate suppliers being created. I am attempting to create a custom event to do a soft validation when a supplier is created to check if there are others with a similar name but when I am creating a new supplier I do not get a message when I should. I am able to get a message if I use ERROR_SYS.RECORD_GENERAL instead of Client_SYS.Add_Info. Dear all, We have started looking into stress performance testing of IFS IEE application. I want to know if any one of you have successfully tried this with performance testing tools other than LoadRunner. I need some help in recording and replay back of the transactions. I have tried using JMeter. But http.byte.array.message types are not getting recorded in JMeter.The strange observation is, even though I have stopped proxy recording in JMeter, IEE application still doing transactions with server. Not sure how application is exchanging data with server. If anyone have tried this similar, please help. Best regardsRohit Borse

Has anyone added a Custom Field to MRP Action Proposals (Apps9)?  It is one of the few screens with the following message:   The Logical Unit MrpPartAction does not support Custom Fields or Information Cards. The base view does not implement the required ROWKEY functionality.Has anyone successfully activated the ROWKEY to enable adding a CF … or will this bring a whole world of pain down on my shoulders?  Thanks

Error whist deploying middle tier. Checked all my config files and main.ps1 deploys fine. No certificates are loaded for ifs-db-init-certs ..Failed updating database. ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied.Failing updating, check credentialsThis is for version 22.2.10. Any ideas?

Dear all, We are invoking IFS IEE HTTP calls from API tools like soapUI, Postman,…. Everytime, we hit url with exact payload as what IEE sends, we get error Expecting delimiter but found character code 59Much appreciate any technical help in this case.  Best regardsRohit Borse

I have been working in our test, prod environment just fine with IFS Report Designer.  But when I tried to move to our another environment.  I am getting “You don’t have enough privileges to invoke this method.  Please contact your system administrator”.   We just copied the Prod environment over this new environment so I have the same security as in Prod which I still can get in just fine with the Report Designer. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

It appears that we have Conditions for = and !- but are lacking the full set of conditions that we would want to use for controlling data.  Primarily, I’m interested to know whether a field contains data of any value.Am I seeing things correctly?  I know there is a workaround to create a custom field (True False) but that is a kluge.  Is there anything on the horizon that will improve this capability?Thank you.

I have just added three new functions (PL/SQL)(Layer Cust). This contains error messages that should be displayed to the user in the appropriate language.          Error_SYS.Record_General(lu_name_, 'NOALLOWRE: It is not allowed to remove this record');Basically, I know the translation function well from the reports, but how does it work here?Questions:- Where and how can I scan the code to make these error messages translatable? I didn't find this function anywhere.- Where can I translate them afterwards? I didn't find the entries in "Text Translation".

I will have a Zebra mobile printer connected with my laptop via bluetooth. I am trying to using my laptop access IFS via IEE and print the label via the Zebra mobile printer, is that possible? Thank you.

Hello,I’m trying to see if there is a User Guide for IFS 23R1 or any of the modern versions for that matter.  I’ve found the Cloud - Aurena User Guide but it is dated December 2020 – Early Access and its screenshot are old.  I also have the PPT named  How Presentation_UX23R1 (I’ll be darned if I know what the use of the word How is supposed to mean), which talks about 23R1 Enhancements.Do we have a single document (PPT) with everything included that is dated currently? I also understand that the use of the Aurena designation is passé.  Should the current documentation mention Aurena at all?Thank you.Patrick

I have been able to create a very nice Excel layout for “Received - Not Yet Invoiced” in the Order Report form. I have used the Filter, the Options, the Columns etc. It works fine but the Finance department wants the data sorted. Is there any way to add something equivalent to “ORDER BY” in SQL or a multi-level sort in Excel? I have tried the multi-level sort from Excel in my layout but it does not work in the report once the data is populated. Any suggestions are welcome.

I'm currently encountering an issue while attempting to import an ACP (Application Component Package) that includes workflows from our development environment into the test or production environment. Despite trying to import the same ACP with the workflows set as inactive, I consistently encounter the same error, as shown in the attached screenshot.Would anyone be able to offer insights or guidance on resolving this issue?

Hello, We are trying to create clustering for our environment.As of now, We have created master node & its up & running without any issue.From there, we created cluster.zip (by running cluster.cmd file) & moved to slave node.From slave node, We try to create the cluster with the help of cluster.zip file.Now, We are unable to create middleware server in slave node & its getting the below error.It will be great to get help from you. Thanks,Vimalraj A.

We are on Appsv9, and have just applied update 16. We have noticed that on occasions, Print Manager is erroring with ‘No PDF report returned from Crystal Web Service’. Obviously this is only on documents that are generated via Crystal Web Service. We have 3 x Crystal Web Services running and as far as I can remember, we have not seen this issue in Apps v9 before. The error in the Crystal Web Service log is: 18/03/2020 15:23:06[IFSCRWebSetupIFS9Lb]-[GetSavedPDFReport] The web instance is busy. The request will be forwarded to the next available instance. Has anyone else had this? has anyone seen this behaviour after an update? (we were on update 12). My guess would be to create a couple more Web services, but i suspect something somewhere has changed, for this to become a problem now. I believe we are only seeing this when the system is busy. Afternoon, I’ve noticed recently within our application messages we’re getting ‘spammed’ every 10 seconds with a failure for the same error. It seems to state the following for IFSAPP.  When I read the XML message embedded it states the issue could be with NotifyMe app which we don’t use currently;<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><MANAGEMOBILEAPPLICATION_LOADCLIENTMETADATA><APP_NAME>NotifyMe</APP_NAME><CLEAN_LOAD>FALSE</CLEAN_LOAD></MANAGEMOBILEAPPLICATION_LOADCLIENTMETADATA>I tried to edit ‘Installed Apps/Devices’ for NotifyMe however, I get the exact same error within there also.

I’m wondering if anyone has managed to generate QR codes to be scanned via a zebra handheld? My preference would be to use Crystal Reports (Report def: Inventory_Part_Barcode_Rep) which when printed would create the QR code with some additional basic data (Part no etc). I’ve looked through the community and haven’t seen anyone create any guides or best practices on how to implement QR codes within Crystal. The potential method I can see is using IDAutomation however, I didn’t know if there’s any alternative or a guide to follow? We currently have access to IFS Report Designer and Crystal Reports 2016 which we can use to create 2d barcodes however, realistically I’d like to generate a QR code using GS-1 Barcode Parameters. E.g. similar to below however, instead using a QR code.Thanks all

HiAnyone knows how can i update the url in an ExternalNavigationLink in Aurena Apps10.I can se and edit the name, but not the URL We run in to problem when updating TEST env with PROD data.In this case it then copy REST links from PROD to TEST and we then run PROD rest calls from test.Also what tabel is this stored n so that we can query/update directly in DB?Tank you ​​​​​​​
