IFSv10 Update 20. Oracle 19c. 440 Global Users.
We have a few users that seem to experience a timeout, where by IFS appears to be fetching data, but this does not return until what feels like around 5mins. Some users are based in our US office, one in the UK and a few from home… Very random with the exception to it being related to IFS.
We have looked into many reasons that might cause this issue.
One area we feel we should explore is the 300 second timeout found in the IFS Middleware Server Admin Console - Common - HTTP Servers, Configuration screen.
Has anyone altered this value? For what reason, and did it have the desired effect?
My thinking is, perhaps we change this to 100 seconds…. Very much a stab in the dark, but keen to know if this is directly associated with the wait users are experiencing.
