We have a Customer Account Statement which runs at the end of each month to send a PDF customer statement, is there a way to include the account details for last 6 months in this customer account statement.

Our external payroll administration company sends voucher information in SIE format, which is a standard file format in Sweden for accounting transactions.  Is there a possibility in IFS to receive external vouchers in SIE format?  The SIE format is a HTML file and this far we have only found it is possible to import external vouchers from text files. 

Hi, Facing an issue while deleting one of Currency revaluation account which is used in previous month revaluation. If we rolled back all the currency revaluation transactions and then delete the transaction line and then delete any account from currency revaluations accounts screen it will allow to delete but this is not the good solution.  In IFS V10 UPD it throws error can not be deleted as it used in table, we did not have any such issue in IFS 8.   Ideally it should allow you to delete the account from currency revaluation account screen if we don't want certain account to revalued from crentain period then system not stop at all e.g loan account etc.   Regards, Mukesh Gupta 

Hi, Re Voucher entry Window, Whenever user click on add button I want to fill Voucher status automatically  as “Approved”.    What are the ways I can achieve this ?      

This issue happens rarely but when it does it un-explainable. The part list price is in the part record the part list price is also in the part pricing rule that generates however, on the request it doesnt trigger anything the first screenshot shows part pricing triggering successfully. you can see the price rule sequence   The one with the issue isnt pulling it at all

Hi, After migrating from Apps8 to Apps10 we are experiencing some problems with tax amount in project invoice and in GL Voucher. In spesific, we found out that tax will not be updated if the checkbox "Preliminary Update Allowed" in project invoice lines is not checked, which is set automatically and is not editable. In apps8 this was not a problem. Is there any changes in Apps10 we should be aware off? We see that if we create correction transaction in project transaction it automatically set "Preliminary Update Allowed" to unchecked.  We also not noted that if we use the function “Create Correction Transaction” in project transactions and change information on project transaction with Correction Status “Correction”, this is not reflected in Project Posting Analysis and GL Voucher when transactions are booked in GL Voucher. Hi All,    Has anyone have any issues with EFT payment types on the Remittances sent out to the suppliers?  We currently do not have any bank details in the electronic payment addresses .  My assumptions are that  this is causing the issues as IFS assumes all suppliers are related to one bank account (none?).  What is the minimum data required within the EFT payment type to get the remittance split by supplier? 

I wonder if it’s possible to exclude one or more customer number from a scheduled batch job?

Hi, I have used the BGMAX template to upload an external payment to an APP10 enviroment. The ‘Payment Reference’ in the File and the invoice is the same. However it doesn’t match the invoice and is trying to create a Parked Payment because the Customer ID is null. Has anyone worked with BGMAX customer payment file before and had the same problem? if so what were the steps taken to overcome? Thank you! Pamith

I have already added this to IFS Idea wall some time back.   When we do the ‘Search in context in any window in IFS  Application, to find the relevant column we have to go through all the columns from the top to bottom until we find the one we need. Depending on the number of fields available it may take very long time user to find the relevant filed and do the search.   As an example if we want to search GL Voucher row analysis window by the voucher date and to a particular date, we have to RMB and select the ‘Search In context’ and find the date filed form the rest of the other fields.   My suggestion is… If we are already in the given window and if we have selected particular line and a filed, when we select the Search In Context, application can open the search window where the given filed is already filled with the value which was in the selected line.   As an example if we select a

I am creating income statement using SQL. I am also using report generator. The requirement is from my boss to see income statement on given date. The costs which are not known would be taken from budget tables. There are following questions on how to solve this problems. Is there possible modification of report generator logic to run the report on given date ? The budget amount should be used proportionally to current date. For example today is January 13th, so January budget should be multiplied by 13/31. The alternative is to use SQL report which result after period end would be comparable to report generator results. We use labor rate dilution for one of our companies.  The process only works when the week ends on a Saturday because I have to run by process for an entire week.  I was wondering if anyone out there uses labor rate dilution and what do you do when the month does not end on a Saturday.  Thanks everyone!

When manually adding a Mfg Clocking in Time Card Day we receive the error "This transaction only supports Machine, Labor, and Subcontracting cost bucket cost types.  For cost bucket  cost bucket cost type is ." Defined cost buckets appear valid.  Failure of a cost bucket and cost type to appear in error text suggests cost bucket is not being linked to the process.  I have reproduced this error with the app owner account to rule out access issues. Labor class and availability for this employee appear fine. Workaround:    No. Business Impact:    Testing and resolution is required for Apps 10 upgrade project to proceed. Hello, Does anyone know of set up for Payment Institute / Cash Accounts to restrict it’s use if supplier invoice currency doesn’t match the cash account currency?    It seems in Apps9 it allows me to select a different currency cash account with no warnings / hard stops that it doesn’t match the currency of the invoice in the payment proposal.   I’ve had a payable user not select from a list of values all fields in payment order pop up form, therefore they didn’t notice they picked the wrong one until after the checks were printed.    I know I could create a custom event to perhaps stop this but just wondered if I’m missing something in set up?   Thank you

Hello, We are looking to use the Bank Reconciliation process where we upload from our bank the cashed checks so we can mass “cash” them.   Our daily files could be quite large.    When we test this process and let’s say want to remove the bank statement due to an error, it’s telling us we need to unmatch each check first one at a time!   This would be very time consuming!   I remember testing this in version 7.5 and pretty positive I could just remove the whole thing without performing this function.  Does anyone know of a way to remove the bank statement in version 9 without having to go to each line to unmatch?   I may just be missing something in set up.   Thank you in advance! 

Q1. Does the ISO20022 payment format work with foreign currency payments? When we initially set the payment file in UK we were advised that it worked only for domestic BACS payments. Can you please advise if the functionality has been extended for foreign currency payments (example SEPA payments)? Q2. If the answer to Q1 is yes, then what versions of IFS support this?

Hi Have a problem that we haven't find a proper solution; I guess there is other with similar issues, maybe someone has solved it? We have enabled “Finally Posted Supplier Invoices Analysis” to the end users, this window is working very well. Currently, they can only see what they have approved. Now the problem; we have a group of users that would like to see each other invoices, as they work in the same department and same authorization. Currently, this is not possible, with above window. We have tried with some other ways, but then the end-user will see all invoices within that company, and that is not the right solution (and not allowed according to our process.)   /Karl Linder
