Can anyone let me know the steps which need to follow under IFS budgeting process.?Please help .

In Aurena, the BACS file is dropped on the default download location for the users browser, unlike EE where can file path can be specified. This isn’t secure or consistent. Anyone found a solution to this either in the application or using any external software to move the file maybe with a script? Thankyou.

We are trying to deploy e-invoice to generate supplier invoices for the French  Chorus-Pro service and have come across limitations of the e-invoice format. Does anyone have experience of extending the output XML file format to include additional information?

The currency rate for a certain day was entered incorrectly.  The rates for USD and EUR were reversed.  I have several customer invoices that I need to correct.  What is the best way to do this?  I went into the customer invoice and entered the correct rate in currency rate correction.  Then I tried to create a correction invoice, but nothing happened.  The background job has a warning that says the Invoice ID does not exist in Company 14.  I’m not sure why it isn’t working, because I’ve done this before.

Using the Ehancments Spreadsheet I’m seeing something that came out in Apps 9 UPD12 that I would like to know more about.  It’s in the Financials area.Where can I get the News PPTs for that update so I can review?

Hello Everyone, We currently generate one invoice per customer order and email the customer a PDF of the invoice during the invoicing process.  Some of our customers have requested we send them just one PDF containing multiple individual invoices.   The customers want a separate invoice number for each order which we believe rules out using collective invoices.  Finance would like to have IFS basically print each invoice into a PDF and merge each new printed invoice into the same PDF so when a customer opens the PDF they’ll see multiple invoices within the same file. Thank you,William Klotz

Hi everyone,I’m trying to figure out if IFS has localizations for such countries as Argentina, South Africa (RSA), Egypt.  And if it does how far it goes. In other words, if we go with IFS, do we still need to use local solutions to cover all the accounting & taxation requirements OR we can rely on IFS financial module and get rid of all the local financial software? Thank you

A new VAT regulation will be implemented in Sweden in the beginning of 2021. The VAT regulation imply that VAT reverse charge will be applied when sale of certain parts/products decrease a value of 100 KSEK. If the value of the same part/product is below 100 KSEK the ordinary VAT rules will be applied. The VAT regulation will impact both sales and purchases.Does anyone have a setup in IFS to handle multiple VAT-codes in the same supplier invoice and is applying automatching against purchase order (Note: not on part line)?   Does anyone have a setup for customer invoicing where the VAT-code used is dependent on the value of the invoiced parts/products? Also, if multiple VAT-codes can be used in the same customer invoice applying the above rule?Thanks.

Hi, I can’t seem to get the Customer Offset Proposal functionality to work as I was hoping. It will happily match one-to-one (eg Customer Payment on Account for £200 to one invoice for £200), but not one-to-many (Customer Payment on Account for £350, one invoice for £200 and a second invoice for £150). Is there a specific setting I need to choose when creating the Offset Proposal, or is there a setting on the Customer that I am missing…..or something else? Or does the functionality just not work as I had imagined/hoped? Thanks,Chris

Hi, What is the approach to be followed when migrating transactional data to IFS from a Legacy System?When migrating these data should those posted in IFS to create GL vouchers that will ultimately calculate the GL Balances as at Cut-Over date.Or just migrate GL Balances separately and transactional data without posting to GLFor example, the customer need to have last 3 years(2018-2020) Invoices in IFS when Implementing IFS. Can we migrate invoices just in PaidPosted state without posting them? What will be impact to Analysis windows?

I had a request come my way and hoping for some guidance.  We have a new Controller here and he is wanting to utilize a corporate account reconciliation process.  This would involve exporting data daily from IFS in a certain format (see below).  I’m sure this is doable, but don’t know best way to do so.  First look seems like the External File functionality in Accounting might be a place to start.  Wondering if anyone has set this type of transfer up before and if I am on the right track. Thanks in advance!  We are on Apps8 sp1+ To integrate  we’ll need a trial balance and ledger transaction file published to a FTP directory daily.  Text files Pipe delimiter “|” No column headings Static filename (so data overwrites and doesn’t create new files)

Does anyone know where the setup is for the RMB/Send Email option in a Supplier Invoice/Posting Proposal (Apps9), please?  I’d like to be able to change the text/add more fields if possible.Thanks

Due to Brexit, this customer has to register for tax in United Kingdom.   So, besides Belgian VAT number, there also will be an UK VAT number, active as from Jan 1st, 2021.Accounting is in EUR.  Customer invoices sent to United Kingdom customers can be in EUR and GBP. VAT reporting for Belgium is in EUR, that is OK.VAT reporting for United Kingdom must be in GBP. Following questions are raised:Is it possible to have a tax reporting done in another currency than the accounting currency ?  Does anyone have experience with that ? To allow the Belgian company to use the S089 tax template, is it smart to copy this tax template (i.e to S089_BE) ?   At time of copying the template, the country linked to this template will change to BE, bu

USD is the only currency used.  Why would I not see this error during proposal or pay order creation?   What does this mean in a one currency configuration?

Hi,We have few ‘ARR-NONINV’ transaction type i.e., non-inventory purchase transactions from the last few months that are being held at Accounting Status Code 2 (Created) and not moving forward to Code 3 (Transferred). Hence these transactions at Status 2 are not hitting GL. Our Finance team confirm they haven’t modified any Posting Controls recently.  Can anyone share your thoughts or idea on what is going wrong? Any solution provided is helpful!  Thank You

Hi, We use the Project module in IFS. When we have a Project towards customer X that has a Paying Customer Y (set on customer tab Project Report Parameters) and invoice Project Transactions, the Project Invoice is created on customer Y. So far, so good.Then we have two different addresses on the invoice, the Document Address and Delivery Address. My problem is that both these can only be fetched from the Paying Customer.We have multiple scenarios where we would like the Document Address to be from the Paying Customer, but the Delivery Address from the Project Customer.To get it right on invoices, we right now need to add all Delivery Addresses on the Paying Customer, which is messy in data management perspective. We run IFS 10 UPD 6, but what I can see from future releases this is not going to be fixed.Anyone with similar approach? Would like to know IFS thoughts about this…? This is not a problem in

The Delivery Type in Line Information needs to be sent in xml. Which Tag of receiveEinvoiceLine is mapped to this field. Can custom filed in IFS be populated using this webservice. Hi All I wonder if anyone has experienced when creating a payment proposal in 7.5 for a particular supplier which has postedauth invoices that are within the date range that no invoices display. It will allow you to add the invoices manually on the proposal? The supplier has current default bank details and no block for payment is ticked. The system is very old and we keep having these unexplained instances happen but I wanted to check that I was not missing anything obvious or whether anyone else had experienced it. Many thanksSheila

Some of our suppliers require payments in advance, therefore we create advance invoices for these down payments. I haven’t been able to find a report that will show me the open advance invoices. By open advance invoices, I mean those that have been paid, but have not yet been received/applied to a final invoice (meaning they’re still sitting in a prepaid account). Does anyone know of a report or window in IFS that would show this information. Thank you!

Wondering how to share General Ledger data to the rest of my organization through Business Reporter department/cost center variance analysis reports yet still maintain financial confidentiality. Is there a way to give users “access” to the general ledger but only give them viewer access to there specific code part, which is out code part B?Right now in the BR variance analysis reports no data shows up for Department Managers because they do not have General Ledger rights, again for confidential reasons… 

I am accustomed to creating tax reports using tax codes.  I created a tax structure to test the report function but the tax structure tab is not an option.  Am I missing a base setup item?  The company setup is on Address and the customer has the tax structure listed.  Thank you!
