Hi,One of our customers is getting the following error every few minutes. They have recently upgraded to FSM 6.1. Part to Product when Usage is created

If in the part Master we check the checkbox “part to Product” as yes, my assumption has always been that it will directly convert to a product when the part is added as a part usage.For some reason it doesnt seem to be work in my environment.Is there anything else which need to be setup (business rule or change in metadata or change in part master) to get this working?Current in 6.13 version.

Survey Restrictions using Access Griup

HI All, We have setup surveys for Differenet Customers in FSM for Task Completions both in Mobile and Client(Web and Smart),however we want to have Surveys specific to customers,So we have used the access Group field on the survey table hoping it would restrict those surveys only for task with the same access Group but it is not working.Are we wrong to think that Survey access could be controlled using the access group field.If anybody knows of a seperate way please let us know ThanksManish

Custom debrief screen in mobility, "+" button

Hi,When create a custom debrief screen in mobility, a "+" button is automatically added to insert a new record in the table linked to that screen.However, customer has some of their workflow screens, which are based on views. So, when the technician uses that button (accidentally), that causes an error, and the current task cannot be synchronized until the technician removes the error message.Anyone knows, how to disable the button during or after the creation of workflow screen.

What values on FSM Resource (threesixty_resource) will send an update to PSO

Hi Team, One of our customers has below question & I would like your help on it, What values on FSM Resource (threesixty_resource) will send an update to PSO? For example, we want to increase all resources travel time and out of region multiplier but updating these values and reinitializing PSO we do not see an update. Are there ANY fields on this table that FSM will send to PSO? Doing these mass updates in PSO is problematic and it is easier to import an update in FSM vs one record at a time. Is it possible to have multiple users in using 1 mobile device? If it is possible how to set it up? Since when the app is starting up, the user-id-field cannot be changed.If it’s not possible, do you know why it’s not possible to have multiple users? How to create custom MPM in C#.Net

Hi Team, We need to do an important POC where the knowledge of MPM comes into picture. Can you please provide technical details or documentation on how to create and trigger custom MPM. We need to trigger custom MPM from FSM Mobile. While searching in the community so far I have learnt that MPMs are defined by a combination of metadata and C#.Net code and can be implemented in any .Net language compiled assembly. So, basically I need Visual Studio. They are like Remote Procedure calls. Request you to please provide documentation or code example at least on how we can create MPM in .Net. One simple example will also be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Quotes screen won't open in Web Client

Hi All, I’m having a problem with my quotes screen in the Web Client. I get the below error when I open the screen. Refreshing cache, closing and reopening etc. does not resolve. Error message in Web Client after opening Quotes tab This is occurring since I created an extension table for quote following the steps in the below article. Strangely, the custom quote screen works perfectly with the new fields in the Smart Client, but it will not open at all on the Web Client. I’ve checked the metadata and database, and I cannot see duplicate key values. I even named the key columns in my extension table differently to the ones in the main quote table to be sure. Undoing all the new metadata, deleting the extension table and reverting to the default quote screen still continues to generate this error in the web client, which is even more puzzling. I’m not sure what else to do. I would appreciate some advice if anyone knows what the problem might be and how to fix it? FSM6 U5

Is there any compatibility restriction between PSO and HTM version

Can we install HTM Scandinavian version 4 (or latest) in PSO 6.1?Can we install HTM Scandinavian version 4 (or latest) in PSO 6.4? Moreover, we would like to know if there is any restriction of versions compatibility in between PSO and HTM or we can just simple install any version of PSO with any version of HTM? Please let me know how it works.

Azure Blobs not removed after deletion in FSM

Description:When uploading files in FSM the files are automatically added to the Azure Blob Storage. But when pressing delete in FSM, only the link in FSM is deleted, the file is not deleted in the Azure Blob Storage.For us (Electrolux FSM implementation project) this is a big issue since we need to remove certain files after usage. In this case it's customer signatures fetched in the FSM Mobile that must be deleted after the customer invoice is sent.Why is the Blob not deleted when deleting in FSM? Please note we are not using any customization, we are using the out of the box solution.We seek advise on the above please.

PSO - ARP datetime not matching Scheduling DB dates

Hi Everyone,I need some help looking into an issue I’m running into. Basically the times that are in the ARP (Skill availabilities) are not matching the times in the scheduling DB when looking at the resource.ARP Resources shows the following: **After a RAM Update** Scheduling » Resources » Resource shows The Skill Availabilities are being passed to PSO via integration, and the date im passing is in UTC time, no offset.Its important to note that some availability patterns show the correct time, such as just a regular day availabilityAny help I can get is much appreciated.Thank you

FSM upgrade issues on App Server

Hi Team, We have upgraded FSM DB to 6.9 from 6.5 on the Oracle DB server (system: XX) and trying to upgrade FSM App client and mobile on the App server (system: YY) using this DB server name but the DB connection doesnt get established.When DB connection is tested during Application server installation it always ends up in error ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified DB upgrade was successful on Db server (system name: XX) Present Status of the Upgrade:FSM Database:prodfsm dbuserVersion: FSM6.9.7746 17-3-2021 10:31:27FSM Client: FSMVersion: 6.5.7417.14159 Please advise how to fix this connection issue. Why ADMIN role can be overridden by other role?

Hi.we experienced that ADMIN role can be overridden by other role which is Exaample:person 007 has roles ADMIN and DISPATCHER.Role DISPATCHER has setup like this: Having that setup for DISPATCHER role, the ADMIN role is overridden. Person 007 cannot modify any other person anymore. Does anybody know whether it is a correct behavior that ADMIN role can be overridden by other role which has Admin menu as READ-ONLY?Can you explain why it is setup like that?
