Field Service Management (FSM) & Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO)

What is the baseline expectation of the relationship between PSOs scheduled date/time and updating FSM Planned Start Date? Should FSM be updated with every new date/time selected by PSO? If not, what would be required, and what would be the impact of having this functionality? Thank you.

An APB with the same data ran smoothly in Apps9 but is now running orders or magnitude longer in Apps10.

Hi all, I am trying to remove the map button from the Web Client in FSM, however there is no such an option in UI Designer, as the upper part of the screen is not editable. Is there any way to remove the map button without removing the whole scheduleboard upper part of the screen?  Thanks in advance. 

Hi Team   How Can i handle this like only one device needs to be logged in any if any other user is trying to login we need to throw the validation or restrict them   

We use a three-character “location” id for Divisions (with Divisions segregated into Datasets), and want to display that three-character info on PSO Scheduling/Resources screen for each Resource.Unfortunately PSO enters a geocoded “city/state” under location, and it doesn’t appear that within Admin/Org/lists that we can get a Division label to display the three-character code.Under Planning/Divisions we have a label with the three-letter code, but can’t seem to make any association to display this under Scheduling/Resources.We use FSM to PSO, using ARP.Any shortcut way to get this automatically populated in a Division label (List) in PSO Scheduling/Resources?Thank you.

Hello,In FSM, I'm having an issue with the fields plan_start_dttm, plan_end_dttm, plan_travel_start_dttm and plan_travel_start_dttm of table Task.At the moment the implementation at the client is using only FSM BackOffice and not PSO. Hence all programming will be done manually by the dispatchersBasically, my purpose is to avoid that these dates are calculated, so I deleted the FSM Client Script associated to the custom code in UI Designer (image below).However, I have found that these dates are calculated despite the changes made in custom code.To solve this issue, I created a client script that put the dates empty.Does anybody have any suggestion? Does anybody is aware of any logic or process that are related with these two fields ?

Hi Team,Do we have an option FSM web/Smart in show lookup on non-primary column and on clock on “OK”, primary Id need to be stamped automatically .  Ex:  in Task Screen  ,  UI should show only “Address name” . Lookup should on  “Address name” , if user pick one address , “ADDRESS_ID” should stamp in backend . ADDRESS_ID are generated in sequence and nothing relevant to FSM user

FSM Appointment Booking seems to be including a lunchtime ‘break’ in Appointment Booking but we are not using breaks and PSO has been set up to not use breaks. Is there some other config or param that needs modification in FSM or PSO to stop this behavior? Thank you 

What is the Schedule Value ? and at what basis we are calculating Schedule Value for any task

Hi Team, We have a requirement in FSM to display attachment names as links in the Task > Attachment tab. Requirement is that when user clicks on attachment name column, it should be clickable like link and should open the link contained in attachment_path column. We have customization to update links to external attachments in attachment_path column of Attachment table. Regards,AJAY

Under work task → resource->demands , when trying to assign resource there is button for multiple visit but it not editable .

HiIn MWO, there is an option “Return” that comes after assignment is marked complete. What’s the use of it? I could see that the task disappears from MWO screen BUT I am unable to delete the assignment now.

HelloWe just moved to 15.4.3 ( from 14.5)On a few Actions Groups , when we load them on the dispatch console (from the Astea Browser) we got a display error with red crosses  The initial load is usually OK , the red cross is happening when both navigation bars are used to view passed ord future data or the remaing technicians. Loading the latest view works , but it fails as user is moving on the console or trying to do actions on the service orders. Any idea to address this display issue We uninstalled and reinstalled many times the browserThe same action group is working fine from other PCs Regards

There are some tasks not visible on dispatch console. Ex. task 53 is assigned to someone but does not show under “Assigned tasks” or Unassigned tasks. The task is released & has duration too. 

Hi All, Are all the features of IFS FSM 6.0 have been migrated to IFS Cloud Service Management Module ? Are they working in same capacity ?If all the features are yet to be made available in IFS cloud Service Management Module , then when would IFS migrate them to IFS cloud ? Is there any future release plan for IFS to upgrade the IFS Cloud Service Management as sophisticated as IFS FSM ?Please advise.
