error when trying to update Price of Purch part using Change Order

This error comes when trying to update PO using a change order .PO is in Received state and i'm trying to update price of the part , nothing related to Delivery date .

Can the Customer Agreement be used in the Service Quotation?

Hello IFS,We are using Apps 10 and are trying to set up a customer agreement that will pull into the Service Quotation. When we set up a non-inventory sales part with a 50% discount it doesn’t seem to pull in.Does anyone set up standards for the service quotation for a specific customer like that that could share how to do this? Customer Orders needing Ship Via changes

Hello IFS Community, We have a multi-site structure and frequently have customers who need to change their Ship Via at time of order placement. In most cases, the requested Ship Via is a secondary selection in their Supply Chain Matrix. While we are able to adjust the Ship Via on the demand site order, once the order flow to the supply site and the shipment is created, it has picked up the default Ship Via from the customer’s supply chain matrix. Is there a means to prevent this from occurring? Example: The actual ship via changes back form AIR to OCEAN which will cause HUGE delays of up to 8 weeks

Receipt Traveler

Hello,I am new to IFS, we are using IFSAPPS10. Can we set up a receipt traveler to print upon receipt? From what I see we have a label that prints some of the time, but would like to get a traveler to print so the associate who does the put away has something direct them. Thanks in advance

Percentage information in an advance invoice

Hello,When I create an advance invoice from a customer order, the information of percentage is mandatory. otherwise I can’t create an advance invoice. But once the invoice created, I can’t find this percentage information in my invoice. Could you tell me where to find it, please ?If there’s no such field.after creation, is there possibility to add a customer field ?

Won/Loss Sales Quotation/Business Opportunity/Estimate

Our workflow is to create a Business Opportunity for a customer request. From there we create an Estimate for Engineering to estimate the product. Then we create a Sales Quotation.When we go to track the won/lost on these, we have to mark the quote line won/lost, then go to the business opportunity and mark the line won/lost, then mark the business opportunity header won/lost, then mark the sales quotation header won/lost.At each step, we have to choose the competitor and the reason. Is there anyway to tie these all together so we don’t have to do this 4 times to close out one quote?

Prepayment Based Debit Invoice correction

Dear All, we got a prepayment from the customer. We connected this prepayment to a customer’s order and issued a Prepayment Based Debit Invoice (PREPAYDEB). The customer resigned and we have to make a correction invoice now. The problem is that it is not possible to issue a “correction invoice” for the Prepayment Based Debit Invoice (PREPAYDEB) which we have issued. When we right click on the header of the invoice, the option of making a correction invoice is grayed out.It is only possible to issue a credit invoice which is unfortunately not an option.Does anyone know how to handle this? (How to make an option of invoice correction available)Thanks for your help.

If you’ve migrated from IFS SaM to Embedded CRM, how did you migrate contacts for prospects? If you change a SaM company from “not linked” to “prospect”, it doesn’t migrate contacts. If you have scripts you can attach, that would be fantastic.

CRM to Sales Contract to Project Flow

We are a project based company who utilizes sales contracts and projects in IFS heavily. Our projects deliver labor related services. We are now in the process of considering CRM functionality for potential customers and business opportunity management. In CRM, the flow is very smooth from business opportunity to sales quotation to customer orders. However since we are not dealing with sales parts but services, I’m wondering if IFS CRM has considered such business opportunities being converted to sales contracts etc. Is this a functionality that exists or considered for future development?

Hello,Over the weekend we added new fields to the VMO_COMPANY_TAB and updated about 50K records in this table for those fields. We have about 250K records in total. Since Tuesday, we are experiencing some slowness in running searches in CRM when we use the customer number search. The searches for customer name and phone number are running faster. Has anyone experienced this before or has any recommendations on how to speed up the query?

Automatic reservation of handling units

Hi all,Customer’s requirement is to automatically reserve from the handling unit with the highest quantity.As and example, customer has two handling units with quantity 500 and 18 each. When reserving for a order with 100 units, customer wants to reserve the full quantity from the handling unit with the quantity of 500.With the current functionality, it reserves 18 and 82 from both handling units to reserve 100 units.Note: Customer has ticked ‘Largest Quantity on Handling Unit’ in the Site>Inventory>Automatic Reservation but it does not fulfill the customer’s requirement. Is there any setup which we can set to have the above functionality?

Apps9 Report Rule Send Email - Size limations?

We are using Report Rule - Send Email and a Route to Connect Process for our Sales Quotations and have found a limitation. Sales Quote PDF is 10 pages with size 237KB which works fine but as soon as we add additional lines to the quote the emails and route to connect processes no longer work. They are still 10 pages but the size changes to 238KB. The PDFs show in Report Archive and Print Manager but the Report Rules do not process. PDF doesn’t show up in the Route To Connect location nor are the emails sent. I’m not seeing any errors in Application Messages, Background Jobs, Print Manager so not sure where to check next.

Coordinator field on Customer Oders will not auto populate

I created a new “User” and setup the “Person” and created a “Coordinator” and assigned to a group but the coordinator will not auto populate on the customer order screen. We have other users that auto populate their coordinator when creating a customer order but not this new user. We upgraded to APPS10 UPD11 4 months ago, is it different in APPS10?What am I missing?

Cannot Close Stage Billing Order Lines

We are running into an issue with using the staged billing functionality - we cannot invoice and close the lines and it appears that it’s about a penny off.
