Hi Folks, Need your guidance here:Is there an option in IFS to not change the price on a line item if quantity is changed? We have a situation where an order line is entered with a certain price. The order takes a long time to fill and then the system reflects the new price when they try to change the quantity since now the price in IFS for that part has changed. I would like to know if there is a way to “lock” the price on a line item.  Thanks.

Hello, We are seeing this information message when a user manually receive/issue parts from a standalone material requisition. The message does Not pop-up when materials are receive/issue automatically. No expiry date is set up for the part. no availability control ID is set up at any level of the warehouse. the Asset class connected does not have an expiry date set up. No shelf life is defined for the part. revision is not phased out. Anyone knows what’s causing this?---------------------------IFS Applications---------------------------Reserving from expired quantity. Hi, I would like  the approver rules for a Puchase Order being derived from which parts that are ordered,  Like you can do with the Pre Posting tab in the Purchase requisitions rule. We now have a workaround using the coordinator, but this is prone for error. Any suggestions?

Hi, Anybody know where you can find back the supplier bank account a supplier payment was paid to?With payment method and payment address id I can go and check on supplier payment details but this could have changed in the meantime so would like to find the account used when payment was made (account included in payment file). Thanks,/Anna

Hi, I'm preparing a warehouse demo for customer on APP10 UPD10.Inside the demo, I will set the "Stardard Putaway Qty" to 3.And set the PO Receive Qty to 5.So, I think when I perform put-away,IFS will cut it to two trasnport task1st: qty-32nd: qty-2While, it is still only one transport task.Is there anything I missing?(I already set the storage zone for the inventory parts.)  

Hello, Are you able to disconnect a PO from one activity and connect it to another activity within a project? We would close the PO and create a new one but the PO has already been sent to the supplier. 

Question, if you’re receiving customer schedule forecasts from Customers but they are for parts that are not Master Scheduled, where does that schedule go after releasing the schedule.  I see the Demand Line in Inventory Part Availability Planning with a status Planned.  But how do I clear that?  MRP is planning for this.  Typically when I import that into Master Scheduling, I no longer see the demand type of Customer Schedule Forecast, but for this case where I am not MS’ing this part, how do I clear that?

I want to know if it is possible to have one incoming customer schedule (DELSCH) through EDI that has multiple part numbers that get parsed out into their own incoming customer schedules. I see the XML Schema allows for multiple Article Lines with a Part No field and the Demand Lines also have a Part No field. When I tried to do this however, I get multiple customer schedules for each article line with the demand lines duplicated across all of the schedules.

Dear All, Does anyone kow if it possible to make the fields in Miscellaneous ready only when you create a new Application for payment fot out a sales contract? Can this be done in the persmission sets? My idea was disable some with APi.new but then i'm unable to create them or it has no effect. Anyone an idea?  

We are on Apps 8 and use the Sub-Contract function.  However, having created a revised template containing approvals, we cannot understand how the sub-contract can be activated when it has not previously been ‘Reviewed’ which is the step that precedes Activate.  It’s as if the approvals have no impact on the activation of the sub-contract.Has anyone else come across this and if so, is this a bug or standard functionality?Thanks in advance for any assistance.  

Trying to ‘automatically’ print PDFs to Send PDF to Connect printer for the Route to Connect action.  I already have several rules set up for either email, printing to printers based on Printer Definition etc and want to have a Route to Connect rule that will automatically select the Send PDF to Connect printer without the user having to do it and without messing with any other printer options required for other printing options.

Is there anyone who have experience from product structure with connection to supplier and for what kind of processes and scenarios it’s used? We have scenario to solve where certain products we need to use component from defined supplier, same code is used for other products. Is it possible by connecting supplier to bom?

Hi everyone, we’d like to use the Supplier schedule agreements, Supplier schedules and Call-off for the procurement of some of our products but I can’t find any kind of “usuer’s manual” on this topic. Can anyone help ?

Since I am not so strong in SQL, I tried query builder to come up with a report with the below columns for Inventory parts Part NoPart Description Site = X only Created Date (on or after 1-1-2020) Has 5 or more transactions “ Primary supplier for the purchase part”  with Supplier name and supplier ID (2 columns)  However, for the number of transactions column I am facing a challenge since there is no view for me to chose in query builder. So I omitted that column, but still need the report sorted for parts with only for 5 or more transactions.  How should I do? an advise  with the right SQL statement would also help. 

We are running Supplier Ledger Open Items - Order Report to see all the supplier ledger open items and as a result, it is showing us open items from an account that is mapped for Inventory Item POs but we are not seeing any open items for Non-Inventory PO account even when we have open items. Does the Supplier Ledger Open Items order report include non-inventory items Purchase Order’s as well ie., No Part Order Lines - Purchase Order? or does it just give us Inventory Open Items?

We have a situation where we are required by a supplier to purchase in full case quantities but the PO has to made in quantities of each in the full case increments.  We want to inventory and sell these parts by the case.  There is functionality in IFS to buy by the case and inventory/sell by the each.  But we cannot find anywhere where we can do the reverse, buy in each, inventory/sell by the case.  Does anyone know if this possible? 

Seeking confirmation that Route Planning works for Day of Week and not Day of MonthAdmitting that I’ve never used Delivery Route functionality and now have a need to set up day of the month shipping day for Customer Orders.  I can see that a route to set the delivery date to a particular day of the week is supported but wondered if there were some configuration tricks to allow eliminating weeks of the month from the shipment scheduling.We don’t have a Customer Schedule to release against, orders just appear during the month (usually on the same day of the week) and we want to try consolidating deliveries to once a month (basically ignoring the customer’s request date and moving them to once a month on the same day (e.g. third Thursday). 

Hi experts out there,hope that everybody is fine, healthy and stay at home? :-)Again we are developing a BI solution for a german customer.These weeks we’ve done a POC (proof of concept) with Purchase Data.No problem to create a FACT_Purchase_Order_Lines(POLs) conected to the 3 different (aggregated) RECEIPT tables. We build the STAR Schema and now we see all the POLs with detailled information from Supplier and Purchasepart.Now we want to see - say PO 1000, Pos 1, Part A, orderd for QTY 100, Amount 1000€ -what kind of Supplierinvoices are there on the “incoming” side.It is no problem to create a standalone FACT_Purchase_Invoice_Lines based on INVOICE_TAB (PARTY_TYPE = ‘SUPPLIER’) and INVOICE_ITEM_TAB.In the manual supllier invoice are some interesting fields, we checked out in the INVOICE_ITEM_TABPARTY_TYPEPO_LINE_NUMBERPO_REF_NUMBER    Alias PO Ref:PO_RELEASE_NUMBERand see

Hi, How to handle best way in IFS10 (up3) customer consignment scenario where products will be invoiced right away when those are moved to consignment (ready from production) and then deliveries from call off? We are using consignment stock functionality already, but I couldn’t find the option to use it that way that invoicing in delivery not based on consumption. Other case in same topic is scenario that we manufacture sub-modules and we invoice those from customer. Products stays in our stock and we will then use those in our production to part of end products or we send those to customer as a spare parts. All help welcome! Br, Mirja
