Would anyone have some time to go over with me their configuration/setup for service request bundles that aren’t related to procurement?  I’m trying to understand the best setup for bundles of things relative to application access etc vs an extensive workflow off of a single service request. Thanks!

Hi - we are starting to look at Power Automate, and what it could do when it comes to assyst.Is there anyone with experience using Power Automate and is able to share how they have used it to compliment/integrate with assyst, what they are using it for?

Is there a way to allow userID search in assystNET to avoid choosing the wrong user? Currently, when you fill out a form in assystNET, the Affected User is auto-populated to the reporting user.  When you change that, it is based off of name, not userID.  Is there a way to change that so when choosing an Affected User’s name, it also shows their UserID associated with that name?  When you click on the search magnifying glass, there are criteria options, but UserID is not one of them.  Is there a way to add UserID there as well?   

Hello. Does anyone have any experience with customizing the Self-Service Mobile App (formerly ACE) through InTune? We are looking to deploy the app to our client base, but need to customize the app icon and name (“IFS assyst” doesn’t mean anything to our clients).IFS have been able to tell me the key value for customizing the server URL in the deployment, but when I asked about the icon and name I have not gotten a reply.Thanks,Duncan

Hi all, I am using a ‘throw new Error’ piece of code in my ETM datamapper to force a failure when there is no record match when processing an excel file.  This allows me to append a custom message to the end of the error log dump in the email instead of using the ‘No match - Error’ on the Record to Update which just shows a generic message with no detail.  It does what I want it to do but in the email message generated it is prefixed with the usual dump.Two questions … Is there a way to just show my custom message?  Or a completely different way to accomplish this. Is there a way to throw an info or warning message which will not stop processing so I can provide some additional

Hi,My organisation is looking to implement some features using the Contact User form’s User Flags. I am aware that we can modify those according to our needs. However, we have a very specific scenario where we would like to be able to create event queries based on the value of those flags. I haven’t seen those fields in the query form. Is there a way to create event queries using the User Flag values? My organisation is using assyst 11.2.3.Thanks!

Hello, I’m working on styling of AssystNet Mobile Interface and I’m encountering the below issue. I would really appreciate a solution for this. Under Favorites, the two Service Offerings - ‘Computer Services and Request’ and ‘On/Off Boarding Requests’ are not visible in assytNet mobile app.    Please, help solve the problem.Thank you in advance.

I’m trying to use SmartMail to send all files in a folder but can’t seem to get it to work using this line of code.                -- include_files = [[{                    -- app = AXIOS_BASE .. "\\Data\\Attachments\\",                -- }]],I can’t figure out what the wild card is to include all files in the folder.  If I explicitly state the file name the email with the attachment sends, but if I leave it blank or try any variation of wildcards, I just get an error Invalid email 'include_files' entry: no file exists with title.  The email still sends but no attachments.  The files can be in any format, .pdf, .xlsx, .csv, etc…Any help would be really appreciated.Thanks!

We have had multiple users (including myself) receive the attached system error message. This issue is very sporadic and does not occur all the time. In addition, it’s not repeatable, so whatever activity the user was doing when the error happened, if they go back in and do it again it always works fine. I’m only aware of this occurring on Assyst Web not our self-service portal. We have not been able to find and pattern or reason for this random system error.Has anyone else encountered this and if so, did you find any root cause and were you able to prevent the issue from occurring?

Hi All,We’re considering moving forward with implementing a CMDB and prior to presenting to our leadership for approval of a SOW etc was wondering if anyone would be willing to host a brief demo of their CMDB instance?We are a healthcare organization with both owned and managed facilities and are working out the discovery side of things given all of the tools and applications we are utilizing in our environment currently.Even if it was a brief video vs a full on demo I think anything would be helpful to show or have on hand for reference if at all possible.Let me know if this works and

We have requirement to remove a particular secondary SVD from multiple Assyst Users.We created an ETM Mapper with Resource as “Secondary SVD” and Record to update as SVD and Assyst User Shortcode. But it is not picking up any record.

Hi, My colleagues and I noticed some time ago that some system forms, such as the Building form, cannot be edited (at least from the customizer). Is there a workaround to this, or a way to modify it? Similarly, is there a way to create custom lookups on tables that aren’t the Item, Cost Center, or Contact User tables? We haven’t found a way to do this yet, but it would prove very useful. Our environment uses assyst 11.2.3. Thanks!

Hi everyone! Maybe you can help a newbie:When we read mails from a mailbox via ETM to create a ticket from them, the ticket is properly created in Assyst. But the original mail is not deleted in the mailbox. As a result, the same process is created over and over again. Where can I set in the ETM channel that the mail is deleted after successful import? Thank you very much!Torsten

We are using SLA -measurement a lot. After the update (from 11.3.11) to 11.6.3 my testing shows me, that the system doesn’t care of the response-targets.. The resolution-target/time is workingI checked all settings - they are still in the same set, as before the update. What is missing? Please help.RegardsMarion 

Hello  Are there a method to resolve and close all active SR,CR,Incidents. that are attached with a workflow without closing each task manually?, So I have found dozen of unresolved incidents, Service Requests, and incidents, which was resolved but the tasks were not updated (resolved/closed) I couldn’t do a bulk change on them given the fact that all of them have multiple unresolved tasks  Currently the only way to close the requests with one click is through state actions >> Withdraw  but unfortunately that doesn’t meet our requirements to complete the workflow as it withdraw the process and closes the record as withdrawn, is there anything similar that automate the process and resolve all the tasks it would even be better if it continue the workflow.   alternatively is it possible to create any type of automation on Assyst that does this? any ideas would be appreciated. We have run into situations where an end user is trying to add another end user as their Delegate using the self-service portal but the persons name never shows up to select when searching. I verified the contact user and assyst alias user records are created correctly and also verified that they have event Privilege = Delegation as part of the privilege group on the user alias record.We have other people that are able to add delegates without issues, but in some cases valid user names are not selectable for some reason.Has anyone run into this before and is so what was the root cause?
