Auto-Populate field based on other fields

Hi 

I would like to ask if there is any way to Auto-Populate a field based on the content of other fields for example:

we have 2 fields: 

1- Start date 

2- End date 

then we have a field called “ Duration “ to be populated automatically  based on math calculation of start and end date.

  • It is not possible to do calculation using user input data in a expression. 
  • If this is something that you would like to see in the product in the future, you can submit an enhacement on our IFS community site

As mentioned, this can’t be done natively in assyst, but I would think it wouldn’t be too difficult to script something like this. Either a custom script with the Action Processor, building a custom automation, or using the API should work just fine.
