I’m not aware of a single customer who ever have used this component.  I do thus suggest we reomve it, thus reducing overhead maintaining code not being used.

Hi. I am creating a workflow where based on the user request (which generates a parent event) I initiate an authorization task to the manager using contact users. Upon their answer (authorized/not authorized) as this is stamped on an action I have those details (whether it is authorized or not) on the task and not parent event.  Is there a way to populate authorization details (information on authorization, who authorized and when) from task to parent event? 

Hi All I need to mass upload some fixed asset into IFS and wondered if anyone has done this before and if there is a standard template for it.

In IFS Cloud, Functional Objects are used to build the physical/site structure, and Serial Objects represent instantiated parts with a serial number (e.g., each machine is a Serial Object belonging to a Functional Object/site).What is the recommended or reference method in IFS Cloud to: Capture and maintain the software version for each machine (each Serial Object)? Track software products installed at a site that do not have a serial number and therefore cannot be represented as Serial Objects? Out of the box, I see several possible mechanisms, but I’m unsure which one is considered best practice for software/version tracking: Technical Classes / Characteristics Test Points / Parameters Documents (DMS) Service Notes Installed Base Object Structure (but software is not serialized → would need to be a Functional Object, which cannot be placed under a Serial Object) What is the usual or recommended approach to model machine firmware/software versions and site-level software in

Hi All,I created a task with “Allow Multiple Visit” = True and, as expected, it has more than one Visit ID. However, when I transfer it to mobile, the work assignment does not apply the configuration I need, which is active for MWO.Is there something missing in my setup, or is it not possible to have an MWO configuration for a Request Work Task when multiple visits are involved?Thanks  

I loaded 400 measurements against the object and has below setup in system but in Performance Details page, I do not see any information    What could be the reason for the above?

All,For an IFS customer, which has not that many Epuipment structures, but within the structure, there are a lot of objects (>10.000), there is a need to maintain a template structure. In case they need to create a new Equipment Structure, it should be a simple copy of the template with new Object ID's.Next to that, there are changes done in the Templet, which should also reflect to the objects created from that structure.FND Mig could be a good option, but I want to check here in the community if we can manage this fully in IFS itself as well.Thanks,Robert Kool

Hello together, at the moment the “attributes”/”technical classes” are so to say available when clicking on an service object and then to scheduling information and from there clicking on the attachment tab and from there clicking on attributes. Please see attached the screenshot. Could we please bring these information up on a higher level, so we have a generalistic view about all possabilities for fields/functionalities? ThanksMarc

An Object was moved from CIP to Equipment and then we received a credit from the vendor.  The credit is sitting in CIP as a negative.  How do I get this out of CIP and applied to the original asset?  I have tried to add value to the object along with adding a child to the object and the message is “the value can’t be a negative number.”  What is the best way to accomplish this?

Hello,Current our company uses the FASN (Failure Analysis Setup Navigator) to follow the Maintenance Strategy for each Item Class.But sometimes are performed specifics studies, assessments and this studies must be inside the IFS and connected to that specific Item Class.Of course we can attach inside of each Item Class their respective studies, although we need a more centralized library, where I can identify all my studies/assessment files and manage where they are applied.Is there any documentation management where we can do this kind of thing? And use IFS as a live library for strategy in FASN?

Hi!Where can I find the Interval setting for events in PM actions in IFS? I want to configure different PMs to generate at different intervals within the same event. I´m usin IFS Cloud. Its described in a answer 3 years ago;  “When you enter the event data into your PMs you just enter as follows.PM ‘X’ - Event = <event name> , Start = 1, Interval = 1 PM ‘Y’ Event = <event name> , Start = 1, Interval = 3Now when running your event generation for event <event name> you will get PM ’X’ generated each time and PM ‘Y’ every third time.” kind regards Emma

 Hello experts!  Anyone has a  good idea around this query?                                                                                 In service contracts where a non-inventory sales part is defined, can we do a standard increase of price  for same parts in all active contracts % wise or amount wise( for same part in all active contracts in one go)? on this same part is in service contracts but in different prices. Customer agreement won’t work as different its different customers. Price list not applicable as each service contract has a different price for same part , so we cannot maintain same sales part with different prices to increase. 

Hi All, We are getting an error saying “Object ID is invalid” when we try to enter an measurement to object. What can be the reason behind this?  TIA.

When working with a detached spare part list that has a multilevel hierarchy, we observed the following behavior: The Level 1 part in the detached spare part list has two connected child parts (Level 2). When retrieving the detached spare part list from the Maintenance Material Requisition (MMR), it is not possible to directly navigate or view the Level 2 parts from the hierarchy. To access Level 2 parts, we need to manually add the corresponding Level 1 part in the MMR, then re-query and add spare parts from the detached spare part list. Only then do the Level 2 parts appear. This process results in multiple iterations when dealing with hierarchical spare part structures. Additionally, once the Level 2 parts are retrieved, the previous level label does not provide contextual information about the parent part. We’re trying to understand whether this is: A system limitation by design in handling multilevel hierarchies within detached spare part lists; or A potential enhancement

 Hello Experts,Please suggest if there is a mechanism, trying to avoid doing a CRIM here.When WO created from service contract/ PM action with a resource defined with an assigned person in contract with relevant hours required,Can same person be assigned in WT/assign work allocation? (can it be automated to fetch from PM action as its already added there?), now it flows to work demands but no allocation is made thought data is existing.Can we automate creating allocation link without a crim, just want to see the best options available?Reason because 900> WO exist initially to manually assign.When WO is created, go to allocations, demand shows but not allocated, can we apply it automatically? 

Can work Order Planning gantt in IFS Cloud 24R1 be enriched with custom fields?I have a requirement where work order planners need to plan and schedule work orders based on Equipment Object groups. Object group is not visible in the gantt view, so my intention was to add it as a custom field with page designer. However there is no list of attributes in the page designer.

Hi, In the Resource Monitoring Gantt, the assigned tasks displays the Work Task no. and the Task Description. E.g.   Is it possible to show the Actual Object instead of the Task Description without the need to modify the system? The Actual Object and further fields are displayed when the mouse hovers over the bar. Thanks in advance!

Hello,In MWO I set Work Task to Incomplete, filled incompletion reason and hours that are left till completion. Where to find that incompletion information that was filled on work task? I do not see it in MWO Work Task and also do not see in IFS Cloud application:Where I can find incompletion information for work task?

Hello, Please help me with assistance in MWO to create additional work task for the work order.I tried to create via “New Work”, but it creates Work Order with status Fault Report:I tried to create via “Additional Work” and it creates work task that I cannot found in the system and WO and Work Task numbers are very strange:I cannot find such Work Tasks in IFS Cloud application with such Mobile Task ID:Thank you beforehand:)

Hi All,I would like to understand what capabilities we have, if any, with regard to planning Isolation Orders in conjunction with Work Orders.The background for the question is that for any larger work, it is to be expected that also isolation orders need to be planned with resources, materials etc, and are likely to be carried out by the same people as the actual work orders. This would mean that it would be required to handle these two order types in the same way.The work on isolation orders will also generate transactions, that potentially are billable, should be accounted etc Thanks & Best Regards,Nipun
