It seems both apps gets updated and the functionality seems to be quite identical. What is the exact difference between the 2 apps?

As I heard the classic apps will be obsolete in future. This MAUI apps will be the future MWO app. The Maui apps are only available for windows and iOS. It is yet to come for Android.
I experienced many bugs in new apps and reported. It’s being developed still.

Is the Maui stable enough to recommend customers now and what is the support policy for Classic during this transition?
+1The Classic version is based on Xamarin, but Microsoft ended the support for Xamarin in May 2024.
This is the reason the App had to be rewritten in MAUI - the Appstores won’t accept apps based on deprecated libraries.
Unfortunately this rewriting started quite late, so the MAUI apps are still not fully working today.
