Hi,We are working through an example where Serial Objects can have a Spare Parts list with quiet few parts for each object.When the Move Serial Object is used, when it’s moved to a different Company / Site, how can the related spare parts list also be moved simultaneously?

I would like to develop an internal mobile application to make frequently used processes (such as material requests) easier and more practical for field usage.How can I integrate this mobile application with IFS?Where can I access the API information and documentation for our environment?Additionally, is it possible to securely write transactions from the mobile application directly to our IFS server without issues?I would also appreciate any further recommendations regarding mobile development best practices with IFS Cloud.Thank you in advance.

Hi Experts,When an Engineer created a new Material line in the mobile, we can find the same in work task material tab. There is a requirement that we need to identify who created this material line as there is no column there in te material tab about the user.One task can have severeal Assignment for different users that they will create material requitements, there is no way to identify who created it.Appreciate for your help. No User information in Material tab?  Thanks,KM

Hi Experts,I have encountered an inconsistency with the cost per hour calculation in the Costs tab. A resource group has been set up with a general cost of 50. The related Maint organization is having a cost rate. A Work Task (WT) was created and connected to this resource group. The task was then assigned to a user, time was reported, and the work was completed. However, we noticed that the Costs tab displays a different hourly rate than the expected value of 50. The Resource and Planning tabs reflect the correct hourly cost of 50 for the resource.Further testing was done by executing another WT using the same resource, but the Costs tab again showed a different cost per hour.   How is the per unit cost in the Costs tab being calculated? What could cause this discrepancy? What steps can be taken to ensure the actual cost per hour (50) is correctly reflected in the Costs tab? Are there any configurations or adjustments needed in Time Types or other related settings? I would a

Community,usually the serial object Installation Date is activated after the object is delivered on customer order. but we need to manually set it up. We would like to manually set the installation date (from Part Serial) when for example, the commission starts. sometimes, the product has been sitting at customer site for a long time before it is ready to start commissioning. How we could do that?

Hi,I need some help with Supplier Warranty on a workorder in Apps10. In the warranty I have marked that the material should be paid by the supplier and that the personal cost should be paid by us.When issue material it creates two lines under the Sales tab and that is the way is should be but when adding a time report line it creates a line as well under the sales tab with a invoice value and that is not according to the warranty. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong

Hi,In previous versions of IFS, we used the Route Work Order functionality which is now not available in IFS Cloud. The business is keen to re-implement this behaviour back into IFS, however we are not sure which features/functionality effectively is the replacement for Routes in IFS Cloud.Currently we are using IFS Cloud 24R2, and plan to move to 25R2 later this year. Any guidance or pointers to other community articles and documentation would be appreciated. ThanksShaun

Hi,  When we try to set a task due date for a case, we always get this message: “task due date exceeds expected response date”.We can’t work out how to prevent this. It doesn’t stop us setting the date.Any thoughts? 

Hi all,I’m currently working on a project for a customer in the Oil & Gas industry.They collaborate with subcontractors and assign work orders to external companies. These external technicians are expected to execute the work orders just like internal technicians — including recording measurements, completing checklists, and so on.At the moment, the discussion is leaning toward not sending work orders to the mobile devices of external technicians. Instead, the intention is to use the B2B Portal both for dispatching and for executing the work orders. However, based on my experience, the B2B Portal does not support performing measurements on objects or completing checklists.Has anyone implemented a solution or workaround for this scenario? Any recommendations or best practices on how to address this would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,

Hi, We are in APP10. We don’t have VIM module installed. we don’t have CRO. We are testing component repair using Repair Work Order. We can take the component off from its parent using repiar work order, after repair, wondering how to install it back to the original equipment structure? Thank you.

Hello,is it possible to schedule my own designed workflow? I like to run a workflow every night in order to get the new currency rates from ECB and store them in IFS. The workflow is in place and does its work, only a scheduled run is missing.Does anyone know how to this in IFS Cloud?e.g. my workflow does not apear in the pull-down Database Task. Many thanks!Herbert

 Hi community! Can someone please explain the direct issue window to me because I can´t seem to wrap my head around it :) If I start by choosing the Location Warehouse I still get ALL parts in Part No, not only the ones at the location. If I start by choosing Part No I get ALL Location Warehouse, not only the ones where the part exists. I need to have them both filled in to issue the material.  So basically I need to find out what and where before I issue material? I can´t get any help from the Direct Issue window? Or am I missing something?  ThanksEmma

Hope someone can help,Currently, I am doing upgrade project from IFS8 to IFS Cloud.   I found that some columns in the view “pm_action_uiv” have been removed such as maint_employee,  aint_emp_sign. Due to the quick report ever referred these columns to show.   How can we know the changed columns in IFS Cloud to support the remove columns? The technical document mentioned for Database changing but not shared the new columns to replace. BR,Pattrawadee  

I feel like in previous versions of IFS we could set Sales lines on the Request Work Task to Not Invoiceable.  That option does not seem to be available.  Is there a work around for internal service request work tasks?   

Hi all,I’ve only started working with IFS from last week, so please bear with me :)Would it be possible to add:Lot Size and Order Point to “Suppliers for Purchase parts”?  basically to get a list and overview of all Purchased Parts set up.I’ve tried using Query designer with no luck, because SupplierAssortment doesn’t have a PartNo in a dropdown menu to choose.
