Hi Team,We have a few work orders without Jobs Template and Work tasks. Due to that, we cannot identify the source Ref / Origin for which these WOs are created (PM action, Work request, Service request, Service Quotation, etc..)How can we know what source created the WOs without job tasks and templates?Is there any field/tab/window for that?Thank you

Hi all, 😊I would like to bring to your attention an issue regarding the movement of a serial object. Specifically, I am seeking clarification on whether it is feasible to relocate a serial object while in the "Observe the Service Object 360" page view, with 0 Active Requests and 0 Active Work Tasks, but with 1(1) Contract and 1(1) Recurring Program, as indicated in the attached Service Object 360 page.Despite numerous attempts, I encountered difficulty in moving the object, with an error message stating, "Service lines connected to this Object or its structure are already used in a Work Order or a PM action and cannot be deleted." To address this, I navigated to the relevant "Recurring Service Program" and adjusted the statuses of all requests to "Closed". However, despite this action, the status of the "Recurring Service Program" remained active, and I was unable to proceed with the movement.Upon changing the status of the "Recurring Service Program" to "Obsolete", I found that the m

I have a list of Work Tasks and want to update the Status of them all. In Apps 10, it was simple to select multiple lines, RMB, and update the Status. We’re using Cloud 23R2 and I’m aware of Edit All, but this command doesn’t appear to be available for Task Status. Advice welcome ! Thanks

Story:-A Component Repair order is created and the Part that that is to be repaired via Repair Order Type = Work Order is connected to a Work Task Template that has Work Type defined.-When a Repair Work Order is created, that correct Work Task Templated id and tasks are used on the Work Order, BUT the Work Type field is empty.-Can anyone explaine how i get the Work Type added from the Work Task Template into the Repair Work Order?

Hi All,Just discovered new feature of IFS Maintenance called downtime enablement.i tried it in different servers and works perfectly in my internal server.but when i tried it in customer test, it appears to works differently.the problem is the pop up menu to register both downtime and uptime didn’t appear.i already activated downtime enablement in both servers. did i miss something?Thanks

Hi all,I have encountered an error message stating, 'The reported by value cannot be empty,' when attempting to click the 'Finish' button for a New Request in Service Management. I'm wondering what might be causing this issue. Could you please advise on what steps I should take to resolve or mitigate this error? Thank you. 

When i executed the invoicing of Service contract in background jobs i noticed that warning ‘Invoicing could not be completed for following Service Contract(s), probably due to stop in the Customer Order type that is used’Note: i kept Cust Order Type as enabled from create invoice.

We are about to import the fixed asset records to IFS10 for one of our companies. In that company we have impaired some asssets and written then down to 0 or the amount we think we will eventually be able to sell them at. Is there a way of impairing an asset in IFS10, or do I need to add the impairment to accumulated depreciation and set a residual value?

Does anyone know of an Entity Relationship Diagram for IFS Cloud?  What I am trying to do is link between RentalObject and the EquipmentSerial entities and CustomerOrder.I need to add a read-only field to RentalObject that returns the Serial Number of the Rented Object. Any idea if this is possible? 

When we execute a transport task in IFS 10.9 the default transport task report automatically prints.Is there a way to disable this?

Hi all,I have an eform set to Object Information in workflow type but if I answer through the tech portal, the object id is not syncing to the survey answers. The Workflow Configuration is set to use both Tech Portals and mWO. Using apps10 UPD17. It only works using the MWO.   

Is there functionality to link work tasks under the same work order without dependencies on status (In IFS Cloud)? We have several scanarios where we want to link work tasks, but the dependency types in “Work Task Dependencies” can not be used and/or we want to create IFS workflow to update status on some work tasksExample, it should not be possible to set a QA work task to state Finished/Reported until all connected fault reports has status “Work Done”. “Reported to work done” is not a dependency type, but we could create a check in workflow if we had a connection. We also have cases where the rule is that one task should not start until the other is started, but some times we need to do exeptions. The “Ignore Dependencie in Execution” checkbox could probably have solved this, but we can not see any affect on the status when changing the checkbox to true.

Hello,We are mainly using the wizard “New fault report” for regestring new work orders. Often we have a need to attach a picture to the fault report. But it is not possible to do it in the wizard. So today the user has to first create the fault report and later go to prepare work order and attach the picture.  We first thought it was an easy config to get it there because the wizard “New Work” includes the possibilty.  Unfortenately we do not manage to do it. Does anyone have another tip? Or would it maybe be possible to attach media file to a fault report in future IFS versions?

Hi IFS Org, Just wanna ask if some one encounter the below variance for Object against gl.The depreciation was executed in 1735 account but it was recorded in 1725 acct.Thanks in advance.

‘Quantity reserved’ from the Manual reservation in Maintenace Material Requisition (MMR) lines is only updated after reserving, for quantities reserved by previous MMRs.Following image shows that even though the quantity available has been reduced there is no place to show the reserved quantity reduced.  The following image will provide a more explanatory example. Here is a scenario where out of a total of 5 quantities to be reserved, 2 have already been reserved. When you attempt to reserve two more, there is no column to display the already reserved quantity for this MMR. It illustrates what has been reserved previously.It is beneficial to have a Column to show the already reserved quantity for the current MMR.

Hi All,We have an issue with mobile work order in Apps 9 not send workorders back to IEE.All the transactions can be seen on the Sync monitor transactions screen in the waiting state, also the sync monitor status screen is showing an error “The page was not displayed because the request entity is too large”.The issue isn’t affecting all user it seems to be fairly random.Any help would be appreciated. Mark

Hello, does anyone know how to get the little circle with the initials in a custom field with reference?In a stndard Attribute there is the CS in this example but no circle with UB in the second custom field attibute  I created it with the What element is missing? Any idea? Thank you!

In Cloud, is there a way to move a group of serial objects that belong to the same functional object to a new functional object as well as:Replace the current party assigned to the serial objects with the part assigned to the new functional object. Change the Owner on the serial objects/part serials to be the party assigned to the new functional object?

Hi, For some PM actions we are working with work steps. It is not mandatory to finish every step before we finish the work task. Afterwards we noticed that these work steps never disappears from the object overview even if both work order and work task is finished. Does anyone have any guideline about this?
