Hi all, I’m working on the implementation of IFS GIS Map and during the presentation of the functionalities the Client raised some questions:Is the IFS GIS Map integrated only with ESRI's ArcGIS, or can another GIS service be used? According to the documentation and API, I believe it only supports ArcGIS. The Client is requesting a clear answer. The layers and maps created in ArcGIS are published on the server and accessed by the IFS GIS Map web application through REST APIs and URLs. How does data synchronization occur if there are updates to the map or layers? The Client's main concern is whether there is an impact if the ArcGIS server goes offline. Is this dependency present? For this initial work, I created an ArcGIS Online Trial - Creator user. After this period, a new trial account must be created, and there are restrictions regarding the email and organization used. Does IFS have an ArcGIS license with a standard user for this type of activity, similar to the Owner user of the d

Hello dearest community, I have a question regarding the Work Task Filters i.r.w. IFSAPPS10 vs Aurena. To give a bit of context, a couple of years back we started using IFS as ERP. Currently we are moving maintenance to IFS as well. However, it has been announced we will be moving to Aurena in about a year or so. Furthermore another site abroad already implemented maintenance in IFSAPPS10. To prevent confusion on implementing Aurena we decided to directly start using Aurena for maintenance purposes. But Aurena is a bit funny at certain times. One of the differences we have found is the missing of “My Work” in Aurena. Fortunately we have found the “Technician Portals > Maintenance Engineer” which acts and seems to work the same. However, the application of Work Task Filters does not seem to work in Aurena. We have on-boarded a large application wherein the application takes a pathway back through an Integration/Coordination process, through to the Server/data endpoint.ie,Application → Integration/Coordination → Server/DB ServerWe have relations setup between each node to show data flow from the App to the Integration and the DB to the Integration point.  This is the flow of data.  However, when our Service desk receives an issue with the application by an end-user, it will only show connection to the Integration point and not through to the server/db infrastructure.Question:   Using relations, how would you represent that the Application is connected to the Server/DB Server as well as the Integration/Coordination point?

Hello, we are facing the challenge to set up a maintenance plan where the trigger is the completion of the previous’ period maintenance activity.   At the moment our Maintenance Plans are set up as Calendar Triggered with a 12 month interval and a 2mo expand backward and forward window around the start date. The target date will be the same every year as will be the window around this date. Now if one year, the maintenance gets completed at the beginning of this window and the next year it gets completed at the end of this window, the interval between services can be very short in one season and very long in the other. What we would like to achieve is that the target date for next years maintenance is dependent on the actual completion date of last years maintenance. this would avoid extremely long or short intervals and allow certain activities to be slowly moved into different seasons if whished, by performing the maintenance early (or late) in the window multiple years in a row.  Is

Hello,on the "Isolation order" page when I press the "approved preparation" button an error message appearing forcing me to fill the dates, but we would like to have to fill them. Is it possible to withdraw this obligations during the transition to the "approved preparation" status?Thank's

Hi All, i’m not sure what is exactly going on here so I thought to see if anyone has a suggestion on what is happening. Situation:We have Service Contract ‘8’ I added a couple of Service Lines Each service lines is associated with some Objects through the Scope tab Service Line ‘3’ has 1 object using the ‘Use Line on Structure’ option enabled (see printscreen - I also added a shot of the Eq Obj Navigator so you can see what objects are included in the structure of Object RTI250115-001) NBow I go to my PM Actions. I already created 3 PM actions for 3 objects belonging to that tree structure (Object Id’s ending in -003 / -004 /-006). Now I also want to create a PM action for Object -006 connected to Service Line 2 but this seems impossible. IFS will not allow me to select that combination.When I select Service Line 2, the drop down is limited to Objects ending in -001 / -002 / -005 = the objects that were not previously used. Why is that? Why would that limit my selection? P.S. I did alr

Rental Demand is added from Project activity and Intersite flow is used to deliver the rental tool, to a remote warehouse.We need to return the part after rental period. Since part is now in offshore remote warehoouse, we need to  return this part back to onshore main warehouse and then to the original toolpool site that the tool repository exist. How can we use shipment orders in this flow to handle return.I can see only supplier shipment option is available. so there is no way to create shipment orders.If I create a shipment order manually, there is no way to reserve the same rental tool which I have rent IN using the project activity. Please provide a way how can I do the return and ship to onshore location from offshore.. The text I can see in hep is only this :Rental returns are initiated from Manage Rentals. Dear Community,I hope you're doing well.I have a couple of questions regarding the Tech Portal – New Work, and I would greatly appreciate any guidance you can provide: When a New Work is created through ‘Report work that I have done’, the following screen prompts me to record the Resource Group (which is mandatory). However, I am unsure where this data is linked or utilized in IEE. Could anyone provide clarification on this? On the same screen, the duration of the work is recorded, but I noticed that there is no time report generated for the completed work. Does anyone know how this is matched, or is there a way to create the time report during the same process, rather than after doing it from completed tile? Hello,we met the issue in IFS Cloud.Created Purchase Order for serial part and reserved Serial number for that part:When we use Incoming Dispatch Advice for Purchase order receiving and execute function “Receive with Serials/Lots”, system doesn’t provide reserved serial number and asks to fill it manually:But if I use form “Register Arrivals” and execute function “Receive With Serials/Lots”, reserved serial number appears without any problem:Maybe it is some kind of bug in the form “Incoming Dispatch Advice” that the same function works diffrently?

No matter what in IFS Cloud the search is a ‘begins with’ and it returns incorrect results.  Here’s an example of this…When you search IFS Cloud does a begins with search no matter what.  In this case I need to update all the equipment at condition-monitoring sites with the maintenance strategy.I make this search string containing the (41) Object IDs that need to be updated.VS-07;VS-06;VS-03;SE-01;RC-03;PU-56;PU-55;PU-53;PU-51;PU-50;PU-21;PU-11;PU-109;GF-04;FA-07;DC-07;BL-18;BL-14;BL-08;BL-07;BL-06;BL-04;BC-99;BC-74;BC-73;BC-72;BC-71;BC-66;BC-47;BC-44;BC-38;BC-37;BC-32;BC-28;BC-27;BC-26;BC-25;BC-123;BC-122;BC-12;BC-11Because of the ‘begins with’ functionality I get (44) results because IFS Cloud also returns PU-1101, PU-111 and PU-21 when it should only return PU-11 and PU-21.  The yellow items shouldn’t show up. Pain and SufferingWe run into this with part numbers and other places.  I’m sorry I haven’t a perfect log of where we run into this, but we can’t be the only ones with a probl
