Hello, We just implemented IFS and we are using the Inspect in QA process. Some receipts are for large quantities and we would like to release partial quantities from the receipt. Currently we are registering the inspection results for partial qty then changing the total inspection qty to zero in order to allow Move into Stock. However this restricts us from inspecting further until the stock is moved. Is there a better solution?

Hi, Is there a way to adjust an employee's absence balances in IFS other than recording an absence request or regenerating the starting balance under Absence Limit Year?We used to do that in  Apps8 long time ago with another customer i worked with using Balances Accruals and Withdrawals screen. We only see OT Bank there ...not the Vacation or Sick Time which are also having yearly allotments given. Any help is appreciated. Kind regards/Roshan

Does anyone here know if it is possible to color code a field based on the value entered in the field?Like my example below where I want to add conditional formatting based on the value the user entered. If it is below a certain value, green. if above, red.The example above is hypothetical. The actual use case involve custom fields that are looking at values in a separate table for validation.

Hi We have purchased materials via a Purchase Order for a Project Deliverable. Once the materials were received, the Purchase Order was closed, and the materials were automatically reserved for the Project Deliverable.  Now, the customer wants to unreserve these materials from the Project Deliverable. However, there is no option to unreserve them. When we click the Reserved Materials command, we are directed to the page below, but there is no option there to unreserve the materials either.. If we use the Cancel Supply Request command, the following error is displayed, indicating that the Purchase Order must be cancelled: However, this was possible in Apps 10.Could you please let us know how materials reserved for a Project Deliverable can be unreserved in IFS Cloud?Thank you.

Hi all,I have a Lobby element that I am using in two lobby pages. It is based on a datasource that uses two parameters Category_ID and Group_ID. My datasource query is using the NVL statement, means when one of the parameters is empty it returns everything. To this regards it is working well. However, when I want to use the same methodolgy as a navigation link I get an error. My navigation link contains:(startswith(tolower(Cf_Group_Id_Eo),$GroupID$)) and (startswith(tolower(Cf_Category_Id_Eo),$OBJECT_CLASS$))When both parameters $GroupID$ and $OBJECT_CLASS$ are given everything works fine. But when only one parameter is given (e.g. $GroupID$) than the second statement of my navigation link gets rendered as:contains(,'')) So this is obviously throwing an error. Any suggestions on how to fix that? I would like to avoid to create two different widgets since I want to reuse the same widget on both lobby pages. Looking forward to all of your responses

After uploading an Invoice when we try to view it the image is distorted. The Text is running vertically instead of horizontally. Naturally the text gets cutoff because there is only space for it to run horizontally. We made a release around the time it started happening. Any help would be appreciated!

Morning Guys,We are having problem with 2 pages (Customer Order and Purchase Order), when some users tries to attach a file, they get the error below. We expend a lot of time on this, testing all solution proposed here in the community. Is it just me or is anyone else on 26 frustrated by the fact that the ‘Today’ shortcut has been buried off a side arrow along a From/To field in the Date Range section  ?  Official explanation is  …“The 26R1 date search redesign was introduced with the specific goal of simplifying the overall experience.”Linda

I'm trying to add a custom field to the Report In Assistant in the MWO Service App and would appreciate some guidance on the recommended customization approach. The Report In Assistant is defined in CommonReportIn.fragment and uses the virtual entity:ReportInVirtual, which is exposed through ReportInVirtualSet and imported in ServiceEngApp.projection. EnvironmentIFS Cloud 25R2 (25.2.5) MWO Service App Report In AssistantIn the Cust layer I have:Overridden ReportInVirtual Added a new attribute: @Override virtual ReportInVirtual {    attribute CScadaFaultCodeF Text {       maxlength = 30;       insertable = [true];       updatable = [true];    } } Overriden ReportInGroup and added the field to the UI @Override group ReportInGroup for ReportInVirtual {    field CScadaFaultCodeF {       label = "SCADA Final Fault Code";       visible = [AllTaskRef.Objtype in("RequestTask")];    } } The field is displayed correctly in the Report In Assistant and the user can enter a value.c_scada_fault_cod

Hi,I have a customer that would like to decrease their revenue at month end for RMA’s that are created/invoices related to orders that where delivered the previous month.I don’t see how to do this search in outstanding sale.Anyone knows how to get this information from IFS Cloud?

We have performed manufacturing over shop order and a part serial structure was created with the manufactured product RAC Part number 1025671 and serial 052117With 3 components inside (see screenshot). This RAC was sold to the customer over project deliverables.Over “Serial Maintenance Aware” we have put it “In Facility” and created the Serial Object for the RAC.Customer has dismounted one of the components (part number 1002611 serial 007040) and sent us for repair. To perform correct repair process, we need the serial object for the component from the part serial structure. How can I create the serial object? If I try to search for the object in “Serial Maintenance Aware” it will not be found. If I try to create the serial object just with plus I receive the fault message.Part serial already exists. It has Status “In Operation” and current position “Contained”I guess the problem here is, that the part is contained inside the RAC. How can I remove the part serial from the structure?

Hi Everyone,I have an issue/question regarding the Second UoM for Inventory Parts. We would like to use the Second UoM functionality on the Register Arrival page.In our construction purchasing process, suppliers sometimes deliver materials using a different UoM than the one specified on the Purchase Order. For example, we may order sand in tons on the Purchase Order, but the supplier may deliver it in m³. We have a defined conversion factor between these two units, and we would like to register the arrival using the second UoM.Is there a way in IFS Cloud to register the arrival using the Second UoM while keeping the Purchase Order in its original UoM?I would appreciate any advice or guidance on how this can be configured or handled in IFS Cloud.Thank you.

Hello,I am experiencing a behavior with Selective MRP in IFS Cloud that I do not fully understand.Context : Parent part: Part Type = Purchased The part has a Structure Type = Manufacturing, alternate  * with status Buildable I run Selective MRP on the parent part.During the first Selective MRP run:MRP is executed for the parent part. The components in the Manufacturing structure are also considered. Dependent demands for other part are visible for the component parts in the MRP information.During the second Selective MRP run, without making any changes to demand, inventory, or product structure data:The dependent demands generated for all the components disappear. Is this the expected behavior of Selective MRP in IFS Cloud?I would expect the same planning results to be generated on each run as long as no relevant data has changed.Has anyone experienced a similar situation?Thank you in advance for your help and feedback.IFS Cloud version: - 25R1 SU0

Hi everyone,We are facing an issue in IFS Cloud where company-owned objects are not available to select as an Item ID on a Service Contract Line. Business RequirementIn our Equipment Object Navigator, we have a top-level object under which we maintain all of our company-owned assets. Our requirement is to select the top-level object as the Item ID on the Service Contract Line. At the time the Service Contract is created, we do not know which specific company-owned asset will be used for the contract. Therefore, selecting the top-level object allows us to assign the appropriate company-owned asset to the Work Task at a later stage. This functionality was available in IFS Applications 10, where we were able to select the top-level object as the Item ID on the Service Contract Line. Issue in IFS CloudIn IFS Cloud, within a Service Contract, the Item ID LOV on the Service Contract Line only displays customer-owned assets associated with the customer specified on the Service Contract. As a res

Hi All,I created a FNDMIG job using the method Eng_Part_Structure_API.Remove__ to remove subparts from Engineering Part Navigator and it does delete any records.  It does not give any errors but display this in the Last Info.I have attached my migration job herewith. If I use the Method Eng_Part_Structure_API.Part_SubPart_Conn_Removeit will remove the subpart.Which method should I use to remove Subpart from an Engineering Part Navigator? Why the first method(Remove__) does not work in the migration job?Can someone please help me to clarify what is the correct method to use and why the first method fails? Thank you!Disna M

Wanted to create a custom field on the Background Jobs page to easier identify background jobs that we can move to other queues that are candidates for optimization etc, but was struggeling with the syntax…. We created a Quick report instead   Here is the query if someone should have the same requirement. Would appreciate if someone have defined a custom field for this already and would share it here. select job_id,   schedule_id,   description,   Client_SYS.Get_Item_Value('INTFACE_NAME',arguments_string) migration_job,   state,   state_db,   queue_id,   created,   posted,   started,   executed,  ROUND((executed - started) * 24 * 60) runtime_minutes,   username,   lang_code,   procedure_name,   error_text,   process_idfrom deferred_jobwhere (('&Queue' IS NULL) OR ('&Queue' IS NOT NULL and queue_id = '&Queue')) and (('&Runtime' IS NULL) OR ('&Runtime' IS NOT NULL and ROUND((executed - started) * 24 * 60)  >= '&Runtime'))and (('&CreatedDate' IS NULL) OR ('&

A. What is your idea? 1) Classification New concept or idea 2) Brief descriptionBackground:In IFS Cloud Tracks, revenues and costs that are excluded from capitalization (by excluding the relevant account from Periodical Capitalization) are incorrectly included in revenue recognition calculations for POC Method: Manual.Note that this issue is not there in POC Method: Actual. This is since “Include Cost Excluded from Capitalization for POC” has been auto disabled (set as “No”) from Project Group level for POC Method: Actual. But this option has been auto enabled (set as “Yes”) for POC Method: Manual. This was reported through Case: CS0532547.Issue:It is not possible to change the value in “Include Cost Excluded from Capitalization for POC” to ‘No’ for POC Method: Manual. Therefore this causes a situation where the excluded revenues and costs are always included in the revenue recognition calculations which is not right for the customers which are used to use Manual POC Method without reve

I am looking for certain suppliers only to only run MRP a couple of days a week. How do I set this up?

Hi All, I’m looking for the database task for “Cleanup age limit in days for Quick Report Logging” of System Paramter. Technical Document does not have this information. Regards,Kohei Okigami

Has anyone ever encountered an issue with a missing resource when an incoming customer order is approved?  What resources is the process seeking??

We are currently trying to use the order cover time on a manufactured part by setting it to Planning Method G. We want the demand as seen on MS Level 1 to be assessed over the cover time and used to generate shop order requisitions for the demand within the order cover time. However, Planning Method G only appears to work for Purchased Parts. Has anyone managed to get this work for manufactured parts?

Following a go live onto IFS Apps 10 for a part of our business that uses composite (mixed goods) tax codes we are experiencing issues with our Tax Proposal process.  Due to the number of tax codes set up (approx 2000 codes ranging from UK0000 to UK2000) the standard UK Vat Return template (S089) was amended to use selection based on Tax Subgroups.Up until this point the tax proposal was completing and capturing all tax transactions for the period specified.Since this change and the increased number of transactions the tax proposal includes transactions up to UK0567 and then stops. This leaves all other tax transactions unconnected to a tax proposal.  This happens regardless of the number of transactions (which varies from 58,000 to 143,000 per month).  We are currently running monthly tax proposals. This stop at the same tax code has happened consistently for several months. We have checked:Tax codes are mapped to the relevant tax subgroups (Tax template field control) Tax codes are map

We have a remote installation of ICAM and are trying download the docker images from jFrog using the air-gapped documentation and loading them into our local jFrog Repository (JCR). We’ve had no issue with helm charts so I’ll exclude them here. We are using the download.sh and upload.sh from the 26.1.4 binaries that we downloaded from our Build Place. The air-gapped linux box has Docker version 29.8.2. The first few images load fine into the JCR then we are running into an error with the upload.sh on one of the images:/docker/longhornio/csi-snapshotter:v8.3.0-20250826 was found but does not provide the specified platformIf I delete the image locally, I get the same error on the csi-resizer image. It has been suggested that we downgrade Docker to version 28. Has anyone run into the issue above and did downgrading resolve it? Any other suggestions?

Dear @Mathias Dahl,I’m reaching out to you directly, as I believe you are the most knowledgeable person to answer this. We have a customer running on IFS 10 UPD10 on Microsoft Azure Cloud (in their own subscription, not in IFS Managed Cloud). They are using the IFS Docman functionality extensively, with a large number of documents saved on an FTP server. They are planning to upgrade to IFS Cloud (possibly 24R2 or later), and there’s a chance the installation will take place in Oracle Cloud. As we know, IFS no longer supports FTP as a repository, but IFS Cloud currently supports "File Storage" using an SMB (Server Message Block) share to store files. My questions are: Can we use the Cloud File Storage Migration Tool to migrate files from IFS 10 (from the FTP server) to IFS Cloud (SMB share)? Note: I read about the limited support for this tool. However, I would like to know your opinion on whether we can rely on this tool, or if there is a better alternative. For example, could we copy th
