I am experiencing a behavior with Selective MRP in IFS Cloud that I do not fully understand.
Context :
- Parent part:
- Part Type = Purchased
- The part has a Structure Type = Manufacturing, alternate * with status Buildable
- I run Selective MRP on the parent part.
During the first Selective MRP run:
- MRP is executed for the parent part.
- The components in the Manufacturing structure are also considered.
- Dependent demands for other part are visible for the component parts in the MRP information.
During the second Selective MRP run, without making any changes to demand, inventory, or product structure data:
- The dependent demands generated for all the components disappear.
Is this the expected behavior of Selective MRP in IFS Cloud?
I would expect the same planning results to be generated on each run as long as no relevant data has changed.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation?
