We have come across the above requirement from our recent customers implementing IFS Cloud. The requirement in detail is the ability to add Authorization Type = Position into Authorization Groups and not just individual authorizers as per the current functionality. Although IFS has the ability to incorporate positions into purchase authorization, in the current functionality, a position is only possible to be included in an Authorization Routing Template as a Step where only that position is able to be added but not several within one Step.The reasons for this requirement are that,The maintenance cost of Authorization Groups with individuals is high specially when it comes to a large organization with many divisions/departments with many personnel with authority to approve purchases. There was a topic previously discussed regarding Inter-site Direct Deliveries.  Part of the answer was that by using the ‘Int Purch Dir’ at the external customer order line, it creates a Purchase Order on the Demand Site (Site A in this case), and a Customer Order on the Supply Site (Site B in this case) to be delivered to the customer directly. Once done go to ‘Register Direct Delivery’ and search for internal PO number there. Once you complete with register direct delivery, Internal PO will be closed, and the External customer order will be able to be Invoiced / Closed. However, we are finding situations where the connected Purchase Order is still in an arrived status and is not closed.  The items are showing shipped, arrived, and shipped on all the connected items, but the PO just remains open.  I don’t know if it is something that we need to change a setting on, or if we are doing something in error, but I am seeing that we have over 20,000

When “Enter As” is clicked from the Shop Floor Workbench screen, I want to capture the Employee ID or Name but it doesn’t seem to be stored anywhere and is not accessible from the console window.Can anyone advise how I could capture this information?   Thank you.

Hello Community,I have a PO that has multiple lines on it. We have received several this year.Today when trying to receive my Inventory staff received the following error messages:“Field (LOT_BATCH_NO) is mandatory for Inventory Part in Stock and requires a value” followed by “A lot/batch number may not be entered for part”.Any advice on how to correct so the lot number can be entered? Thanks!Angie

We have a CTO Part that is large and when completed will not fit onto a single mode of transportation.Can we, once received on the Shop Order, disassemble into shipping handling units (i.e.4) and then ship each of the shipping handling units as separate shipments with Customer Oder Quantity of 1 or how can we ship on four trucks at .25 for each shipment?Other suggestions?

Hi, We got few suppliers with delivery dates for specific days of week. Is it possible to set up IFS to create purchase order requisition only for specific days of week? So far I do not see that option in Cloud.  Thank you, Lukasz   

Hi Team, This is related to a warehouse which is set as a remote warehouse. in this there are 2 picking locations exists, one is 25DO and other is 25L. when we set the drop off location to 25DO and run the transport task, system is created a transport task but without considering the forward to location and when we execute this, new transport task line is not created automatically. And if we set the drop off location to 25L instead to 25DO, system is working as expected. When we create manual transport task, system is working as expected.Do anyone have any idea why this happened?    

This is about the supplier material for inter-site orders.Create a PO for part A from site A to site B.Part A has a supplier material B.If I make a shipment of Supplier items on the ‘Ship Supplier Material’ screen, how can I receive the supplier material at site B?It was not possible to do this on screen ‘Receive from Transit’.The supply method is Supplier material, not customer orders.

Tab named "All" in Inventory Part Availability Planning frame base on temporary table(INV_PART_AVAIL_SUM_QTY_TMP) which is created each time we ask frame to populate for some record(please find attachments ORDER_SUPP_DEM_EXT_TMP_VIEW.png and Inventory Part Availability Planning.png). There are several function which populate temporary tables(e.g.: IFSAPP.Order_Supply_Demand_API.Populate_Temporary_Tables__ ).We want to create report base on data from mentioned tab(Actual demand, Planned Demand, Supply, On Hand) and look for the best solution for this purpose(without customization). Does someone has any experience in this area?

Hi Community, I’ve got a customer who purchase serial tracked parts to a a supplier, to do so, he delivers to his supplier  manufactured serial tracked parts. When supplier delivers purchased parts, he gives for each delivered serial the list of components used Part & Serial (PN/SN). Is there any way to register this traceability structure in IFS Apps 10 ? At this time, the best I’m able to do is knowing on which PO the components were used (PN/SN), even if all parts are in multilevel tracking. NOTE : if possible, we would like not to use Shop Order with external work centers. Has anyone had an idea or a lead ? Thanks in advance, BR, Jean-Christophe

Hi All, We have a client process where we are generating the purchase requisition through create order proposal with database schedule.Here, we system creates multiple PRs for each parts depending on the inventory part planning method demand when onhand qty falls below the lot size.We want to create only one single PR combining all the inventory parts in it.So, please let us know if there is any method to create a single PR containing all inventory parts.

Hello all,We’ve built intersite automated transaction, where we make customer orders using the supply code “Internal Purchase Direct”. This automatically creates the PO and the intersite Customer Order.Client order → Customer Order #1 → Purchare Order intersite (automated) → Customer Order #2 intersite (automated) → Pick from inventory and direct shipment to ClientThe issue we have is the intersite CO will show the delivery address of our own company (the company sending the intersite PO).Is there a way to program the intersite transaction in order for the end-user delivery address (entered at the Customer Order #1) to show in the Customer Order #2 page? At the moment, we have the address appearing in the delivery note and the packing list, but the customer service clerk processing the intersite customer order #2 would like to see the address before printing any documents.Thank you!

Is it possible to undo a delivery for a customer order in cloud?

We purchase labels on a spool of 25,000.   Our supplier always adds an additional 500 labels (for good measure) to every spool but does not invoice us for these extra units.  When receiving in the spools, is there a way to automatically “count-in” the additional 500 units so that the quantity on our handling units reflects what is actually on the spools?  We don’t want to increase the quantity on our PO’s because we aren’t being invoiced for that full amount.  We’ve considered using the inventory conversion factor and updating it to 1.02 but our finance department is worried about UOM conversions/reports/accounting entries as well as audits.

However, we face another problem : we are able to reassign lines only one by one.Question 2 : do you have an idea of how we can be able to Reassign shipment lines massively?If you met theses problems and find work arounds, create a BPA codes or a developpments, I am very interested.Many thanks

In view Inventory Part Availability Planning, it happens sometimes that my customer experiences wrong linking to demand of type Work Task/Maintenance Material Requisition. The Supply/Demand link takes us to another Maintenance Material Requisition than the one the demand comes from (the Work Task that the material req is connected to may be corrrect or incorrect. Sometimes even the site is not the right one, and the part no may or may not be correct).  We are not able to re-create this in a structured way, it just happens sometimes without us understanding why. Since the customer has high security we cannot let IFS support enter the IFS instance but only the ref environment. Because of this, and since we cannot re-create it in a structured way, we cannot get help via bug report. There are no customizations present.Cloud version 23.1.14

I posted this question before but the conversation has gone stale so I’m posting it again..  Can we do “search in context” in IFS Aurena (cloud) on the IPAP screen like we can in IEE?The reply that I got was not on the IPAP screen but another one, if you post screenshots please verify that we can sort and filter on the IPAP screen. I know that search in context is available elsewhere.
