how do you adjust the multi level structure in order to create less shop orders?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to setup the MHS process with a customer order, and I want to use sale lines and rental lines. I have my delivery site (CP005 in the screenshot) and my supply site (CP001).The problem is : when I create my CO with two lines, it creates a PO on CP005 only for the sale line, and a customer order on CP001 with 1 sale line and 1 rental line :Sale line on the original CORental line on the original CO

In a scenario where there is movement between 2 warehouses (within the same site) how can we include the transportation cost in the inventory cost. We have a scenario where the customer moves a significant number of items to a different warehouse within the same site. These items are heavy and there is a considerable distance between these two warehouses, therefore they are incurring a transportation cost. In such case how can we include the transportation cost in the inventory.  

Hello,My customer want to use planning method N (Next level) for a part. I tested it and it’s working well (supply is created at the release of the demande ) when part is added as component of shop order and on a material requisition.My issue is that it’s not working (supply is not created at all) when part is added on Work task. Does someone know if it should work and it’s a bug (or a lack of setup) or if it’s normal?RegardsAnthony

Hello Experts,We would like to try out Demand Planning on IFS to assist us forecast future demand for Inventory Part items.This will enable the stores team to ensure that inventory parts are available when users need them.We will need to enable this functionality on IFS, but we face this error, please assist. 

In the ‘Shipments’ view a standard field is not showing as available in the Search functionality‘Next Step in Shipment Flow’In EE, this was a field that could be used as a filter, operationally it’s a key field to use as a filter.Is this identified as a fix for any future releases?

Dear all, I’m facing a problem in purchase order process. My customer want to modify or add a new line on a PO in state Received. How can we handle this ? When I try to add a new line, the system says that the line cannot be enter due to authorization rule.I try to change parameter in authorization rules (within authorizer limit, in order amount...) but same issue.Do you know the solution ? 

Hi All, I am looking for a way to close PO lines in batch that have been received fully and previously closed but then reopened again to update line information such as purchase groups. This causes the PO to remain open which we do not want. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello,When running a report for aging parts from our Inventory Parts in stock page, we have multiple duplicate parts that were received on different lot batch No’s. Is there a way to prioritize shipping the oldest part received to cancel out some of these duplicate lines? I’ve noticed from this report that we will sometimes ship out a part from a newly received purchase order meaning we have an older part sitting on the shelf in the meantime. Thank you,

Hi I have a big problem.I create a customer order to company A from an external customer.When I release it, it creates a purchase order with a part which is a purchased part (with components to send to the supplier). The supplier in an internal supplier in another company B.I can’t ship the components to the supplierThe only function I have in the purchase order is “Purchase order line compents” Please could you help me ?I have a question :Is it possible to do full subcontracting with postdeduction of components in the intercompany flow ? Thanks for your ansmers BR

To all you clever IFS folk,Is there anywhere in the supplier set up that you can block the user from raising a Purchase Order (PO)? I know you can make the supplier inactive on the invoicing tab but this does not stop a user from raising and releasing a PO on the supplier? We are wanting an easy way with new suppliers to allow their setup and stop orders being placed until all QA documentation has been received. We are on our journey to Cloud but ideally need something we can put in place in Apps9 asap.Thanks Sarah

Hi,Why there are cases where the Warehouse Tasks are in Status Cancelled and the Transport Tasks are executed? In theory, if the Transport Task is Executed, shouldn't the Warehouse Task inherit this information and become in Closed status?What is the difference between the Warehouse being Cancelled or Closed, if the TT is already Executed?Best regards,Luísa Quintas​​​​​​​

I’m testing out sales campaigns in IFS Cloud (24R1) and wondering how the “parts” tab needs to be set up on the sale campaign in order to pull its price (or discount) on an applicable customer order line. Is the sales price/curr on the part line supposed to be independent of the sales part base price value i.e the user can enter in any value? I entered in a price on the line, and expected the value to be pulled into my CO line, except my price source is still from the sales part. The coordinators on the CO and campaign are also the same as well as the sales period. I can get the promotions tab functioning, just this one is baffling me. Any help would be appreciated.  

Dear experts,I have an issue on screen “Analysis Result”.In the tab “Variables” column “Result” I can’t see the values. But a few of my colleagues are able to see there the results. Do need any basic data settings, permission sets or is that a bug?

Does anyone have a great grasp on cycle counting within cloud? I used to do it within Epicor and it seems much easier than how IFS does it. Specifically locking inventory on parts and specific moment, not just when they are added to a count report. We are counting 50 parts a day for the rest of the year and I am hoping to make it as quick and painless as possible. David 

Dear community, We have two different company in IFS and I set up inter-company setup and it works perfect up to now. But now, I need to create new part_no’s and configuration structures for supplier site.The problem is when I match the parts, I have a message like below;  ps: Part1 and Part2 have same configuration characteristics.  I hope someone can help about this situation. Thanks in advence,Kind RegardsOzgun Bal

Hello everyone On the image above i have changed the validity of some characteristics ( Active > > Hidden). It doesn’t make any changes on the configuration creation screen. It still asks me the hidden characteristics. And then  also  i changed the mandatory characteristics  (YES >NO) it still gives me the option to choose from hidden characteristic values from list of values. Can someone tell me the functionality of the validity value “Hidden”. Thank You.

Is there a way to limit locations to a single part?Specifically, when a location has been picked to empty, nothing else should be receipted into that location apart from the original part. Is there any way to achieve this in APP9? 

We are currently using IFS Apps 9 and operate from two physical locations, which we’ll refer to as Location A and Location B. However, we have only defined one site in IFS.At present, our shipment delivery notes are set to print automatically at Location A by default. Since we have recently started shipping from Location B, we need a solution to ensure that delivery notes are printed at the correct location based on where the shipment originates.As it stands, the system does not distinguish between Location A and Location B. Could you please advise on how we can configure the system to print delivery notes at the appropriate location?Thank you in advance for your help!

customer wants to know in cloud if it is possible to view only the records to specific users , as a configuration or parameter based on a field, ex - in the Functions Object window can certain users only see only specific Object Type?
