IFS Maintenance Work Order or Serial Object linking to Work Centre

I have recently been asked to report on historical Work Orders resulting in Work Centre down time. I am vaguely aware that Work Orders or Serial Objects can be linked to Work Centres but would like some guidance if someone is willing.I need to understand if, how and what should be considered if either objects or work orders are linked to a shop floor work centre.Whilst we use the shop floor work bench we do not use any of the scheduling or capacity planning tools for Shop Orders.Many thanks,Matt

WO into CO issue in App9

We have a single occurrence where a transfer to a Customer order, of the Work order (with 6 posting lines) has created 6 separate Customer orders. We have never had this occur previously. We are high used of Work orders, with multiple Posting linesAll lines have been posted on the same day,Any heads up would be useful Thank you in advnace/ash

Mass Update button

On the Tech Portal, I am using the ‘Mass Update’ button on the Task list screen to update tasks in bulk. The issue I have is not being able to ‘save’ the changes to this list. I have tried saving changes via the client script attached to the button, and also via a ‘Save’ button on that screen, nothing works. Anyone know why? or have an example of how to use the ‘Mass Update’ button feature?Just to confirm, this is on the Task List (Search results) screen in the Tech Portal, not the Task detail screen which shows the details of the one selected task.

Get Customer Name – Report Rule

Hi,With a Report Rule I want to put the name of the Customer on the name of the PDF report Customer Order Confirmation. So that instead of a random number, the CO Confirmation has the Customer’s name.It worked for the Purchase Order, with the Suppliers name, but I don’t know how to get the name of the Customer. This is what I have so far: CO Confirmation - [&Cust_Ord_Customer_API.Get_Name('[@CUSTOMER_NO]')]What do I need to change? And also a second question, For our own administration I want to mail Project Invoice to the Current User by using a Report Rule.Only thing is, I can’t select ‘USER_EMAIL’ from the Xpath.How can I select the right Email Address matching the Email Address of the Current User? Hi, using APPs10 UPD8,does anyone know if there is a way to schedule a task to send the transactions from mobile to IFS when a user turn on the internet connection in device?E.g.: today works like this:after finishing the wo offline, I need to open the app and click on “sync monitor” to send the transactions when the device has internet.The customer wants a way to schedule this process.Tks

FSM6- Reports not attaching to notification emails

Customer is on FSM6 u6 on the Azure Cloud. They are trying to get an invoice to attach to an email notification.The notification will go out but the attachment (invoice pdf) is not attached. It did work in 5.7 but something must have changed that is not documented.

Secondary WO lines into a Purchase Req

We run multiple inter-company sites where we buy/sell spares for ServiceSo, i have a Work order with 3 material lines, convert to PO and can use the P/O change order to update the order lines.However…I now need to add 2 additional material lines to this P/O via the change order. All good so far.When the P/O is receipted, only the 3 original lines are posted back to the work order, and not the 2 additional lines.Currently, we have to raise another Requisition to transfer to a P/O.Any idea how the change order line can be posted back to the work order, without a new requisition? Event Action Problem

Hi everybody! I have a event action that automatic approved purchase requisition line . My problem is when I execute SQL statement in PLSQL it works perfectly but when I tried to execute it on IFS it doesnt work.The problem is here;ifsapp.PURCH_REQ_APPROVAL_API.Get_Pos_Code( '&OLD:REQUISITION_NO','1')=ifsapp.COMPANY_PERS_ASSIGN_API.Get_Pos_Code_Employee('#DEFAULT_COMPANY#',employee_code_) ifsapp.COMPANY_PERS_ASSIGN_API.Get_Pos_Code_Employee('#DEFAULT_COMPANY#',employee_code_) this statement returns null on IFS. But it is not null. I get a result from plsql. What can be the problem? Does anyone have a idea? ifsapp.PURCH_REQ_APPROVAL_API.Get_Pos_Code( '&OLD:REQUISITION_NO','1') and this statement returns position code with a period ‘.’ but it does not have period. I find Employee_code_ like thatcursor get_emp isselect a.emp_no from COMPANY_PERSON_ALL a where a.employee_status='*' and a.person_id='&OLD:REQUISITIONER_CODE'; BEGINopen get_emp;fetch get_emp into employee_code

Client Script Filter on User Def field not working

I am able to run script below in SQL (the select part of it) and it returns the results as expected; however on Mobile the line-code field is greyed out and won’t allow selections. I have confirmed that user_def1 is passed down to mobile.This is something i’m doing in order to filter out select line codes from appearing on Mobile screen.populateListFromQuery("non_part_usage", "line_code", "select description, line_code from line_code where npu_code = 'EXP' and line_code_type <> 'CYL' and line_code_type <> 'R'and user_def1 <> 'PR' order by sequence asc", true);

Monitor schedules / Integration schedules time fields

There are three columns on the Integration schedules screen, Trigger, Last Run and Next Run. If you schedule the task running daily, those columns do include HH:MM data. I’m wondering in which time zone those fields are?? Also, Integration Scheduling Wizard includes HH:MM field. Local Time zone?Here is a picture clip which causes confusion:

The layout file does not exist in database.

I have a report layout that runs fine for 2 companies in our IFS system but gets this error: “The layout file does not exist in database.” for the 3rd company. All 3 companies are using the same report layout. Can anyone help me solve this issue? disable the 'detach' option in document managment

Users are attaching documents to Purchase Order headers and we have figure out how to control who can see the attachment and who can view an attachment. Our problem is, anyone who can see the attachment can ‘detach’ it from the purchase order. How can we disable the detach option from the right mouse button menu? thanks

How can we use custom Database methods for Object Connection Transformations ?

Object Connection Transformation provides the means to support object connections to be accessed from business objects other than the ones to which they are connected. In order to do so we have to specify an object transformation method. For some scenarios it is not possible to map the target and source columns due to the fact that the source columns are not included in the target database view. Therefore how can we use custom Database methods for Object Connection Transformations ?

Document macros - check in, view, create new

Hi everyone,i have question about document management macros. I want connected word tempalte document to the row in application (for example row of audit) and after create new document, or after attach i want the data from application to be filled into a word file.I have some macros block from enviroment test TQA CMB. But macros are only functional when i do checkout file (edit) - then is data filled into file.I think that the macros for action create new, and check in doesn´t work. You dont have anyone sample macros for there actions please? I dont know employees who would be familiar with writing these macros.And another question is, it is possible to filled data from row to the fille at the action “VIEW” - do you know? I will be happy for any answer, thanks.
