Is it possible to configure IFS Document Management repository in order to use the FTPS protocol, not the standard FTP? I mean, using the 990 port and TLS/SSL Implicit encryption?Thanks in advance!

Upon DELETE of a Functional Object - is there a notation in the tables to indicate who deleted it?    Apart from History Logging, are there other ways to determine who may have deleted a functional or serial object in the Equipment_Object_Tab?

Hi, There are two options to search “Responsible Person“ in Document Revision. One seems to be only enabled Caps lock while other is not. Is there any specific reason for this or can it be a bug. We have a support case reported some questionable scenarios related to these options & expecting to get verify the background.Thanks

Hi, BackgroundTraditionally we have used PSO to get a list of appointment offers via ABE for a resource to be allocated to a task. The user, or customer online will select a single appointment offer. Nice and easy. QuestionIs it possible, or does anyone else out there allow multiple appointment offers to be accepted.Example being:The customer, or agent would select all the appointment offers they would be happy with, and this information is passed to the DSE. The idea being is that is would look to schedule (in this example) for Tuesday 27th as the soonest. But if anything was to happen, or tasks were to be created with a greater value, the DSE would know that it could move the task from the 27th to the 29th AM time slot as an example. Hope that makes sense. RegardsAdy

In App10 enterprise explorer, we can select multiple documents in Document Revisions window and email the files. We could not find this option in IFS Cloud. Is this no longer possible? 

Hi there,  How could I delete duplicate work orders from our system? I seem to be trying everything but I’m having no luck. If I try to delete the W/O I get this message,  Parts are not the issue as these can be manually adjusted. How would we delete these work orders and not have them show in the system?  

Thought of sharing the following upon few questions raised by customers regarding task completion on mobile when having demands.Could be helpful if anyone has the doubt on this area, also please contribute to the discussion. When you have unallocated demands, tasks will not go for work done although all work assignments are completed.So if you have add a single demand line for a task, it should be allocated to work done.Here's the steps for that.Create work order Add work task Go to Resources tab in child table of work task RMB on resource tab > Assign work > Allocations on Demand Select the work task Add new on child table Give the user who you need to transfer assignment to mobile on “Allocated To” Save Go to work assignment tab, assignment has been created.RMB on work assignment > Transfer to mobile If you follow these steps, once you complete your task on mobile, in IEE also task will be go to status “work done” In case if you add resource demand and then transfer the task

Hi, we are investigating the use of the Permit module in Apps 10 to manage some of our permit/application processes.Does the Permits module have the ability to create authorisation approval and routing rules, similar to Purchase Requisitions?e.g. we would want anyone to be able to apply for a permit, but only certain groups of users to be allowed to review and approve permits.Some permits will have a different list of users it must escalate through e.g. based on Permit Type (e.g. an IT-related permit would need to go through the IT manager/CTO etc., whereas digging permits would need to go through engineers, maintenance managers and supervisors etc.).

Hi,This is related to a prospect customization in Aurena App10 (UPD9):One of our Customers has a requirement to select documents form the attachment panel in a new customized window. In order to enable the selection of documents, it is expected to introduce a toggle or a select option to the card view of documents.Can anyone please comment on the feasibility to implement this functionality or share any of your experience related to this?

We have a scenario where some users cannot connect via Notify Me mobile App.The error is “I'm afraid something went wrong. Check your TAS URL and re login.”It’s working fine for some & if those who can access, tries with the same credentials of the users who can not logged in, they can logged in without any issue.Is this a known issue. Are there any specific settings to be setup or any documentation can follow as a guideline.Thanks in Advance

Hi All,I wanted to add a condition to specific Object to set the specific document classes for different Company Ids. I have used ,Object Condition  as - COMPANY_ID='XXX' and set up the condition. It worked as expected.What are different methods we use to add conditions on Document default for object?   In online documentation different methods are described, but no idea how to use those in different situations.Online DocumentationI also read that it is possible to implement rules on the ‘Key Ref’ as well. When I try to select or issue part via mWO using barcode scanning functionality the code brings me part no, serial, dates and many more. I would only want barcode scanning to bring me part number and serial - is this possible?Thanks

On the person screen and place screen, there are many values of places_relationship.①how these values of places_relationship are used in repair progress?for example,is the value of place to ship filled in automatically in address ID on shippment screen ?②And which value is necessary ? if the value is not set firstly the repair progress can not be moved on.③Can there be process differences due to different  values of whose place?for example,the place of customer or repair center. IF you have some ideas about this question, please check the attchement with details.Thanks !!

HiHow can I connect the Place table to the Opportunity table for ad--hoc reporting purposes?I have created an ad-hoc report category called Sales and added both the Place and Opportunity tables to it. However, when creating a report from this category I get errors when combining the Place Name with the Opportunity ID and Description. The error is: Any ideas?

We are using IFS Apps 10 U8.  In the Service and Maintenance area, when an issued serialized unit is returned to an inventory location, the operational status of that serialized unit defaults to not operational.  How can I update the status to operational? 

Is there a way in IFS to not allow a technician to be clocked into multiple assignments at once from different WO’s?  I am pretty sure the functionality exists on the manufacturing side on the shop floor workbench but I don’t see a way to do this on the Service & Maintenance side of IFS Apps 10.  Any ideas? Thanks,  Curtis Taylor

IFS Apps 10 Account Manager The registered user cannot enter the application after a while, the connection is established when I delete the user information from the program and re-enter it. I log into IFS Notify Me 10 application with the user information in the Account Manager. What could be the reason the user could not connect after a while? When I remove and re-enter user information in the Account Manager application, I am not having any problems. After a while I can't connect again and I have to do this process constantly, can you help?

I have an environment where we don’t want to allow the use of Pool Work Order or Technicians to Create New Work from mWO Service 10.  Is there a way to hide these tiles on the home screen in mWO Service 10?
