IFS MWO Failed Transactions handling

Failed transaction handling is big trouble in practical scenarios. Work order transferred to mobile is accepted by the mobile user but later it is taken back or put up in the prepared status in IFS for reassignment or replaning. IN SUCH SCENARIOS, Group messages will fail and handling of these messages becoming big hurdle. How these can be properally handled. Specially, I such scenarios where WO no is showing g different WO no like - 50004 etc.

Expired MWO Survey on Mobile Device

Good afternoon,we have a case where a mobile survey is showing on the engineers device within the e-forms. This survey is not a published survey and is not showing within IFS as a historical/closed survey. Therefore there is no way of deleting the survey from the eForms library. Can anyone suggest a way in which this survey can be deleted from the device. Many thanks for your assistance.

Stuck Missing Reservation on maintenance material line IFS9

I have no idea how to this happened so I cannot replicate it in our test environments either. We have a part on a released Maintenance Material Requisition that is reserved according to the MMRWhen you try to issue the part you get this warning messageYou can also see that when we try to issue it says that 0 are reserved on this screenSo when you say Yes to the informational message you get this errorWe get that same error if we try to unreserve the line manually, but on that screen it does look like it is still reservedSo we went out to the inventory in stock screen where it shows we have 36 reserved.So we go to the Inventory part In stock Reservations and there is no sign of it being reserved to the Work order.We have tried ran PMRP and MRP against this part to see if that shakes anything up. But we do not know how to resolve this issue. Anyone have any ideas?

New Work / Additional work in MWO is giving a error/warning

When we create a new work / additional work from MWO Aurena Native, we are getting an warning‘finishCommand: Failed to read expression value from viewstate.DocumentFileSelector.isEmpty’ when we click on Finish and the screen stays there. The new work / additional works are getting created.Any one has came across this error. Hi Team,I have installed IFS MWO Service in my android device. mWO attachment icons difference between devices

Hi,I have a question regarding attachments panel in mWO. Maybe someone had the same issue and knows the solution.I can see 3 icons in Documents section in mWO attachments. You can see gallery, documents and camera. My colleague can see only 2 icons. We are logged in as the same ifsapp user. We tried also on another user (called mobile1) but there is the same issue. On my iPad there are 3 icons, on his only 2. Also on my colleague’s Android phone there are only 2 icons, so it seems like it’s not device dependent.We checked steps mention in thread MWO Attachment icon not visible | IFS Communitybut in db viewer there are grants.Clearing cache in mWO doesn’t change anything. What can be the reason, why one person cannot see document icon? From application point of view, we are logged in as the same user.. Best regards,Hubert

SFTP knownhost file set-up error

We are trying to create the knowhosts file required for SFTP communications between IFS and Pagero (our EDI vendor). From IFS documentation, here is what we are supposed to do: SFTP requires a "known hosts" file. The known hosts file contains the public key of the SSH2 server,and the purpose of this file is to ensure that a server cannot maliciously impersonate another server(e.g. man-in-the-middle attacks).The known hosts file may already have been created by an SSH2 client and may be reused by an SFTPreader. Multiple site per company issue with Maintenance Org IFS 10

We have two sites for one of our companies. We have employees in the field that can work on work orders or work tasks for either site. I am getting the error that they are not set up at the maintenance org for the newer site. So I went to the resource navigator. He has two employee records - one for each company which checks out (he can do work at both companies as well)He is set up at all three sitesThe problem seems to be that he is only set up at 210 on the maint org as the error statedWe are only allowed one maintenance org per employee from what I can tell. How do I resolve this?

IFS not updating when a Supplier Invoice is authorized in Notify Me Aurena 10

Hi,I have what appears to be identical issue to the following thread, however that thread is now locked and no answer was given. User acknowledges Posting Proposal in Notify Me but the transaction isn't acknowledging | IFS Community We have installed Aurena 10 Notify Me and are trying to approve supplier invoices through the app, however whilst authorising, IFS never actually updates the invoice status.We can see IFS is receiving some information as a background job is posted which updates the notifications to stop them from being sent to the device again. Issued Quantity is not sync with MWO Aurena Native Application

In MWO Aurena Native application, the Quantity Issued is not getting synced.We are using IFS V10 UPD 7. As per the process, the Materials are issued against Maintenance Material requisition in IEE Platform. The issued quantity is not getting Pushed / Synced to MWO Aurena Native application. How can you get the line items to show on a quotation print?

I’ve set up an ESM service quotation and I can figure out for the life of me how to show line items on it. I want to be able to show them all for one that charge for each line with a markup as well as one that is fixed price but only shows the lines of what they get without pricing. I’m sure the system does it, but it’s kicking my backside. :😖Thanks!

Can someone please help me with answers to these questions? Does it operate when IFS is down? Does it support lot/batch number? If so, is that configurable by product center or country/accounting entity? Is a version available with IFS8? Does it require specific scanners or minimum technical specifications? Does it require a specific barcode label printer or does it have minimum technical specifications associated with the barcode label printer?

Methods for mass mobile app initialization

As we have been making a lot of configuration changes and software updates that affect the mobile app, after each change we need users to initialize the mobile app. We have struggled with how to manage that process. For example, we have tried emailing all users and informing them to initialize their mobile app, but then many do not do it. We largely use WebClient and we have 100s of users that need to initialize.We’ve recently worked with IFS to setup this screen that allows us to sort by init date (or other fields), select 100s of users at once and then initialize the mobile app. This doesn’t immediately initialize the mobile app but rather the next time they use the mobile app, it will initialize.Because it could cause a flood of messaging towards the servers and may interrupt any transactions they are in the middle of, we are just using it during weekends or late hours when few users are using their mobile app. Then, the next business day, at various times when they first open the a

TouchApps database configuration

I posted this as a question to IFS via the Customer Engagement Center, but was told it was not “Unfortunately the raised case does not fall within the support scope as this is not a product fault . . . ”, so I would like to post it here in case any of the community has any thoughts or opinion on the matter. During the course of our training, testing and deployment of TouchApps in our non-production environments, we have received conflicting opinions regarding the best practices of database configuration for TouchApps.1.) Originally, when we worked with IFS, the configuration was to create a separate database dedicated to TouchApps2.)
