Hi,

I have installed the Touch apps server for IFS Apps 10

then downloaded the IFS MWO Service 10 app from Windows store.

While logging in i am getting this below error:

You need to ensure the ServiceEngApp is enabled. You can find the App registration in Applications (ifs.com) in Solution Manager.

Unlike other Touch Apps in Apps 10 the MWO Service and MWO Maintenance do not have cloud resources this means there is no configuration or set-up with the Touch Apps Server.

These MWO Apps are installed as part of the Apps 10 installation and are visible within Solution Manager > Touch Apps.

Cheers

James

Adding to Jame's reply, you can follow below steps in Apps 10:

  1. Find the native app in the IEE (navigate the Applications form and search for your app)
  2. Delete the app versions (if already exist)
  3. Delete the app (if already exist)

Find the metadata file from one of the following locations:

  • If you have the build home location :

                 \\<server>\<instance>\Build_Home\database\mwo

  •  If you have the delivery installation files with you:

                  \\InstallationFiles_<DeliveryID>\database\mwo

File Names:

  • Service Engineering app:  ServiceEngAppOfflineMetaData.ins
  • Maintenance Engineering app: MaintEngAppOfflineMetaData.ins

  1. Redeploy the relevant DB file properly
  2. Check that the app is now available again in the 'Applications' form in IEE.
  3. Check the issue in the app again.

Hope this helped.
