Service (Touch Apps, MWO, MRO)

I am unable to access the IFS MWO Service app because it will continue to initialize with seemingly no end. I tried changing the sync rule for CustomerInfo and SCCustomerContract from “exclude” to “include” to see if that would get the app to display some missing data, but that ended up incurring the initialization error I am currently encountering. I reverted the sync rule back to what it originally was but that did not fix the issue. Please let me know if you know how to solve this issue.

We are regularly getting this error - but I am struggling to find any dates out of sync.  I have seen the previous conversation that indicates this was resolved.  We are on Apps10 UPD21.Trying to tackle the failed transactions, but some are proving tricky.  Any help would be great.  Thanks

Hi Experts, I need to create a new page in MWO.I have followed the steps mentioned in documentation IFS Cloud - MWO Service demystified (23R2)First i created the new element in navigator design then i added it in page designer as a new page Re-initialized the mobile and i can see the new page in MWO but when i go inside there are no data. Could you please let me know where this can go wrong. Thanks,Hesh.

Hi Community, A MWO user is having the below failed transactions constantly.  Reviewing the screenshot below, the transaction time is different from the start time. How can we resolve this kind of failed transactions so that it will be happening again?  ERRINV: ORA-20105: ActiveSeparate.ACTSTARTISLATER: Actual Start is later than todays date for work order 22152.  The MWO app is showing a different time as shown on the screenshot below.     Thanks and l look forward to your input.Mesh 

How do I cancel a Customer Order in IFS App 10? 

Hi IFS Experts A question regarding a one stop way of closing, for example 100 steps in the MWO to prove the work has been doneSo, One job with 100 steps. The customer has to show evidence that the steps have been done, and doesn’t want the engineer to press done 100 times, so a multi DONE button 😉 – possible???Or an easier way to complete al steps whether being Mandatory or notAny and all thoughts welcomeAlan

This will be the first time I have cloned into this environment since going live with MWO in PRODI do want to leave the DEV MWO available for testing.Are there any settings that I can check or that will need to be changed after the clone to make sure that nothing gets inadvertently forwarded to the DEV MWO that should have gone to PROD?Just trying to make sure there are no gotchas that I have not thought about. 

This might be a simple question,But while working on a work order in MWO on a phone, should the user also see the same data entered on his MWO on his windows app?  Should he see the same Work Orders in both apps?I did not think they sync’d back and forth like that, but I have a user asking about this and I am not sure of the answer. 

Is there a way to create a communication among technicians who work in a same task but different assignments in IFS MWO? As an example, if I need to send a message or put a comment about my work to the next technician. I can see status of other assignments. But, I’m searching for a method to convey bit detail message.

If I forget my pin code and am unable to access my IFS MWO Service App account, is there a way to reset my pin code so that I can access it? Preferably a way in a browser IFS environment. 

When trying to create a new service request for a serial object in the IFS MWO Service app, no customer information appears in the customer field on the service request form. All other information (Service, Service Org, Service Deliver Unit, etc) shows up as expected. Does anyone know why this may be happening, and if so, how to resolve it? 

 I need to see the Task Contacts for a work task in MWO as shown in the first picture. But I don’t get it. How can I enable it? Can we customize available actions in the action bar?

Hi,Looking for ability to transact, administer and report all crew related work from the field in the Technician Portal solution. Currently those are only available in MWO. What is the plan to include same functionalities in Tech portal? 

Dear All, We are in phase of migration to new environment, however we need Touchapps 9 to create labels, scan them and perform physical inventory counting before moving to new environment. Can someone provide the app installation file and guide for installation. Also the IFS provided links don't work and dont have application copy. 

In 24R1 Once the Repair Shop Order is completed received(Originated from Disposition shop Order) is not able to auto reserve in Assembly shop Order…. Can any one help on this issue ? 

Hi All,A technical question that I can’t seem to find any clear answer on. We are pushing out MWO / Notify Me via our MDM solution. Is there any way to pre-populate the Server URL for the end-user (Screenshot1)? Screenshot1 When deploying iOS Apps via MDM we can typically push out a App Configuration via Key/Value pairs (Screnshot2) Screenshot2It would be a nice QOL feature as we use SSO across all our devices which would make signing into the app a simple 3 step process. Configuration type: Person Resource  when we try to save the eform getting the below error message   whether its bug??

I wanted to create a Purchase Requisition against the assignment in mWO (Cloud), it does not show any purchase parts when I try to create the requisition. Do we need any additional setup? I have scheduled to run Refresh All Inventory Parts and Refresh All Purch Parts and also executed them before initializing the mobile still no parts are showing when trying to create the requisition (system has Supplier for purchase parts in the same site)

Hi All,We have an issue with mobile work order in Apps 9 not send workorders back to IEE.All the transactions can be seen on the Sync monitor transactions screen in the waiting state, also the sync monitor status screen is showing an error “The page was not displayed because the request entity is too large”.The issue isn’t affecting all user it seems to be fairly random.Any help would be appreciated. Mark

We are using MWO in IFSAPP10.  Still in UPD13 but using the UPD23 mobile app.We get the below error in mobile transactions when completing a work task in mobile and sent back.The reason according to the sync traces is that one of the queries has IFSAPP prefixed as below.SELECT OBJID, OBJVERSION FROM ifsapp.(SELECT objkey AS objid, '1' AS objversion, entity.* FROM MAINT_ENG_APP_REPORT_IN_VIRTUAL_VRT entity) a1The issue happens in the production environment for all users but doesn’t have a pattern. Seems intermittent.This is working fine in our in-house TEST environment where the IFSAPP prefix is not set.  The app version and updates are same in both environments. Any help on this is appreciated Below is from TEST environment where you don't see the ifsapp prefix.
