Hi All.I’m facing this situation where it takes a long time to sync a single task to mobile user, about 30 40 minutes. The user need to initialize the app to receive the task. Using Apps10 UPD17, MWO Maintenance app Aurena. Sync Task [10565723] of User [FRSA] Device [27559] - Still executing... Database Process is waiting for MWS. Any ideia what might it be?

Hi All.Does anyone know if there is a fix for this case?In APPS10 UPD17, using mobile Aurena apps MWO Maintenance, I’m getting this error as the user sign in eform.All of the other answers sync but the SIGNATURE no.My event is based on the SIGNATURE answer.This happens for a couple of users. Hi all, Have an issue with some parts that were added on the work task and sent to mWO (service engineer) aren’t showing the issue button. When I add the same part manually within mWO itself, the issue button shows. Any idea why? Android and Windows app show the same behaviour. Thanks  

I have been asked a question from a client and this may be for all you Fleet Management and HCM gurus!  The customer wondered if we have the capabilities of getting GPS tracking functions and  whether we have the facility or record drivers in the operation of their trucks.I know mWO has GPS functionality but has anyone ever encountered these requests outside of the use of mWO?  There are devices that do both and can be integrated with other systems. Any input would be appreciated!  Thanks!

I’ve read similar topics but the answers are not helping in my scenario. Currently, when a transport task is executed, mobile users must either do a full initialization or need to manually sync ‘inventorypart’ and ‘inventorypartinstock’ in order for the recipient to get an in-transit record to receive the part. What is the most efficient way (and causes the least performance reduction) to make these entities sync after the transport task has been executed? Is there a custom event that needs to take place, do I edit the entity to sync ‘on changes’, etc..? Thank you for your assistance.  

When we move a part Via MWO using Transport task from one Remote warehouse to another remote warehouse, ever time receiver Remote warehouse User through his mobile has to initialize, then it will show in move stock screen, its not working when we Sync, is there any setup we missed, can any one know to avoid initialization process.

I am trying to put custom fields visible through Column Chooser option. As i move the Custom objects from hidden Objects to Visible objects, It is not becoming visible and disappearing from visible to Non visible fields. Can anyone help here? 

When the MSC2 and C55 posting control is tested i do not get the expected result.The C55 in my understanding should use the Resource - Maintenance information - DepartmentThe MSC2 in my understanding should use the Employee Maintenance information ie the HCM module Employee Assignment - position. The current behavior for C55 and MSC2 seems to be 100% the same. The Resource - Maintenance information - department field is used as field for the posting control.Please verify and explain why two different posting controls has been created and how to use the HCM Organisation  position in the T1 and T2 setup. The most common setup is to use HR cost center in the T2 rule, as the home cost center will get the credit posting in a best practice setup.

We are utilizing IFS 10 and moving into Aurena. I am looking for the documentation about Maintenance Surveys to document how to set them up and their capabilities. I am also wondering if a survey can be attached to work task steps or task templates I did not see that as part of the workflow configuration yet. How do you allow a tech to save where they are if you are not utilizing MWO? Finally, can surveys be linked or utilize the measurements in IFS?

I have an example where I have a service contract with two service lines of type invoice plan.  My Periodic invoicing is prior invoicing for the year.  I.E. 7/1/2022 - 6/30/2023.  My service line 1 has a valid from date from of 7/8/2022My Service Line 2 has a valid date from date of 7/15/2022 When I invoice these 2 lines for the first year IFS will prorate the invoice lines because they were not valid for the entire invoicing period.  The IFS customer does not want these prorated and billed at full amount and the end date to be adjusted for a 1 year term based on the valid from date.  So line 1 should generate for 7/8/2022 - 7/7/2023 and line 2 should generate for 7/15/2022 - 7/14/2023. Any ideas?  I don’t think IFS will do this natively, wondering if anyone has some ideas?

In Apps 10, we are able to create new Service Requests from a Template. Cloud 23R2 doesn’t have this functionality. Is it in the pipeline for a future release or is there another way to achieve the same, thanks

Hi, Can anyone help with below queries ? User is trying  to connect an equipment object to a document revision, whether object ID has period sign.Error raised and cannot connect the object.“Invalid use of data delimiter in object type EquipmentObject.If one of the values contains a period, you can use a comma, semicolon, or colon as a delimiter instead.” Question 1: Is there any specific reason as to why period sign needs to be avoided ? Question 2: Then as a workaround, if you connect the object using objects tab in the document revision form, object description is not displayed until you save the record.
