Service (Touch Apps, MWO, MRO)

I am having a problem give permission of “Work Assignment Information” tree view to general users. This tree view is under the window My Task ( under Service and Maintenance module, attached ) in IFSAPP10. I have already checked both presentation objects and Database objects in the permission set window but unable to find anything related with the text of tree view menu, so, unable to give permission from permission window. The users I am trying to give permission can access My Work window.  There have been a couple of posts but none of them actually  have a resolution.

Hi,Was trialling the tech portal (Cloud 23R2). It appears that the completed area of the tech portal is coded only to show assignments 30 days in the past. What if we want to show 60 days in the past? Is there a possibility? Why was it hardcoded in the first place? TIA  

Hi,Hope someone can help. We are on the IFS Cloud 24R1. We are using MWO Service with old gen service solution (service quotation, not request quotation).When you are on My Work you have a button to create new service quotation on the existing assigned task. When you click on it, the page prompts you to create a new quotation, new work order and the new task. Is there a way to create quotation which would be already connected to the work order/task from which you initiate the quotation process?This functionality exists for the full access users in IFS Cloud where you can create quotation on the existing work order so would be nice if you could the same on the MWO.Thanks

Hello, We recently took SU14 on 23R2 and believed that push notifications now should work (after we have read this:We are still facing an issue to recieve push notifications. We are using IFS MWO Service 25.1.1406.0 and push notifications is enabled on the device.I am quite new on MWO and trying to add NOTIFICATION_HUB_PATH and NOTIFICATION_HUB_URL - are there any standard end points to use and what should be the setup?The log looks like this: And the background job gets executed. Any tips?

Hi Comminuty, For a customer (23R2 Managed Cloud), we have MWO module with MWO licenses but we don’t find how to assign MWO licenses to user. Do you know how to ?All user use a full licenses now and we want to use MWO.

Hi All, I tried to do some page configurations related to MWO. Then I saw that there some entities in “Apps for Page Designer - Service Engineer” which cannot be seen in “Entity” page or “Entity Configuration” page. As an example “OnlineEventLog” entity seen under “Task Events”. Cant we do any page configurations associated to those entities?  TIA.

Hi, we just made the leap from IFS MRO to IFS9 (huge jump).  In the IFS9 help it seems to say that when a WO is in released and the operation is released you should be able to do a RMB on the operation line and finish that operation out.  However we do not seem to get any status for the operation other than Release (when WO is released) and then Cancel.  When we RMB the close out is never an option.  Is there some other setup we are missing to allow this to close out this way?  We can finish the ops from the header when the WO gets Finished.  BUT we need to close operations 1 at a time and not all at the same time.  Thanks for any insight!!!

Hi Community, Is there any way to login to TAS Portal as ifsapp when SSO Enabled?  

We have a custom field in ‘My Work Detail’ Page under ‘Task Information’ that is set as required however user still can by pass this field and complete the work.  

We encountered an issue with MWO.  Two tasks were assigned to a tech and sent to his mobile.  The tech left the company but never completed or returned the tasks to IFS.  This is preventing us from being able to complete the tasks and put them in finished status.  Has anyone found a way or a work around to get those tasks back from the mobile?  

Is there somewhere that lists errors and gives a resolution to that error.I’m a new user and I get an error pop up every now and then. IFS Cloud tells me I have an error but not how to fix it.For example:

Hi ,   I am trying to write  a business rule where I want to create one condition to check whether the date value of a column is greater than today’s date+7 days. I now in the expression field i can write now() to get today’s date but how will I get a date which 7days in future.   Please help me here. 

Hi,  We have added an eform as a mandatory step before completing the work task. It is the last step before ‘Report in’. However, even if the eform has been completed, MWO gives the error message saying ‘This action is mandatory’ when we attempt to Report in. Is there a reason behind this? It does not happen always but sometimes.  Thank you,

Hi CommunityWe have this situation: From MWO app/ Work Details page, we trigger the creation of a pdf document, which is the service report. (an action called “Create Service Report” setup on the page does that). This create the report and attach it to the task.The reference to the report gets transferred to the MWO app also.However, in the Work Details page, in the attachments link, we don’t see there is an attachment. This appears if we go to another page and come back to this page.We can see the attachment if we click on that attachment icon as well even when it does not show the count 1.So the issue is, the MWO client page does not get refreshed when we get new data from the database.Does anyone know if there is a way to get this auto refreshed?We are running Application service update: 24.1.7Thank you.  

If the service technician forgets to share the service report with the customer or forgets to save it, there is no way to generate the service report again, if the assignment is no longer in mWO.There should be a way of creating a service report in the Cloud without developing a report. This could possibly be solved by another wish, i.e by auto-attaching a service report to the assignment, which will be synchronized to IFS Cloud.

Hi all, We upgraded touch apps server from 10.10.301  to 10.20.497 . after upgrade i could access admin portal of touch apps(with new upgraded version). but unable to login IFS AURENA scanit 10 client device ,it showed below error every time when we tried to loginw3wp.exe Error: 0 : ERROR_PROGATED_SYSTEM_EXCEPTION:Stream was not readable.what can be the reason? Hi Expertise, I'm currently experiencing an issue with one of our internal environments where the MWO app is displaying an error message upon access.So far, I have:Reinstalled the Touch App service. Checked for any disk utilization issues on the hosted servers. Hello All, We are currently using IFS MWO Service 10 (UPD9) and we are experiencing increased Initialization time and slowness in MWO App. When we referred to the Lobby Page for Mobile App Status we noticed ‘Queued Out Messages’ has reached almost 700,000 and would you kindly share your thoughts and advice if there is any connection related to the above Message Queue and any recommendation on reducing the increased initialization time? Hi Experts,In 24.2.0, I get notifications(toast) upon sending a new request task to the mobile (Test both Windows and android versions), but with same settings and devices in 24.2.1 the notifications not received. I sent a test notification and the logs don’t give any errors either.Would their be any known framework bugs ? or have I missed anything ? (application parameters relate to this notification hub and url also identical in these two env. In installed app details Push is also enabled. The environments are ifs demo environments. Note that push sync working ok)Can someone clarify please?Thank you,Roshan
