I have a read only multiline  text field (4000). The  query to show data in this screen is something like this   select listagg(t.CF$_field1 || ' - ' || t.CF$_field2, CHR(13)) within group(order by cf$_part_no, cf$_site) from table_clv t This will show field value in a each separate line if I copy the result to notepad++, however the custom field on the screen does not show in separate lines Notepad++ 1233 - some test 1265 - adfadf   Ifs shows below   Is there any way to solve this problem?

Hi everyone   Could someone tell me if Apps 8 mobile apps can run on Android 10 devices please

Does anyone know if a CLU can support document attachment i.e. applying object connection?

We have started using Consignment Stock for Supplier-owned stock. We want to be able to identify such stock within the “Inventory Part In Stock” data. I could join to Inv Trans Hist using the Part_no/contract/Lot_batch_no to get the CO-ARRIVAL record, but at 75 million Inv Trans Hist rows, even forcing an index takes a very long time in an SQL statement. Any ideas as to how I can include/exclude within some of our Inventory Part In Stock reports? We are running IFS2003!

what do you do with your surveys? do you just leave them as data within the task? how do you give those survey results to your customers? we created a report for the output of the surveys but you have to pull that report manually. it doesn't create an attachment on the task   curious what other companies do for this

Is it possible to create a new search domain in Apps10? I'd like to add the Supplier for Purchase Part. So if someone is searching a part number, the supplier's part number will be included with the search.

Trying to figure out what drives the EDI 855 - Electronic Order Acknowledgement out of IFS.  We are already doing 810 & 856 outbound.   I set the Customer Master up as follows: Message Setup * ORDRSP   Order tab > Message Default tab * Order Change Management - Send Order Confirmation (checked)   I create the customer order through the Incoming Customer Order.  I get nothing outbound. I Release the customer order.(from Planned) thinking maybe it requires a Status change.   I still do not get an outbound file.   Requesting assistance on what I am missing from the setup in order to generate the outbound XML fie for Order Acknowledgements.

Can anyone please suggest me is there anyway where we can write conditional statement in our XML code.Like if conditions or if else condition i want to write in my XML code.Is it possible to write the conditions in XML code? My scenario is comparing tasks which are more than 3 days in  queue but not closed needs to be closed automatically with the help of scheduled process.

I found the issue in Mass update of tasks in FSM 6U3 fresh installation. It seems, the bug in 6.3 and it works fine in 6.4 (refer image 02 for 6.3 issue) However, I have to fix this for a 6.3 customer without upgrade to 6.4 Anybody have workaround for this? Or else did I do something wrong?   Note - You can find the mass update for task from the dropdown in task search button. (image 01) Image 01 Image 02 This should be changed to Completed status and Processed count should be 4(equal to Total).

Can anyone please guide me what is the use of MPM in FSM and how it works in our application? one normal sample will be very helpful.

Hi All, In FSM there is this IQA function that we can choose either in REQUEST, RAM also in Warehouse Portal. Question is can we make it Mandatory to perform for example when starting a Request? Else no one will use it or they can skip, appreciate for your assistance. Requirement is we need to set it Mandatory.   Thank You, Kasun

Hello,   I’ve been trying to use PL/SQL scripts to update some custom fields in IFS 10.  I used the following:   (code snippet)       VC_INFO_      := NULL;       VC_OBJID_     := V_OBJID_;  -- obtained via cursor       VC_ATTR_CF_   := 'CF$_CF_CUSTOMER' || CHR(31) || 'C101040' || CHR(30);       VC_ATTR_      := '';       VC_ACTION_    := 'DO';        ifsapp.INVENTORY_PART_CFP.Cf_Modify__ (            INFO_       => VC_INFO_         ,OBJID_      => VC_OBJID_         ,ATTR_CF_    => VC_ATTR_CF_         ,ATTR_       => VC_ATTR_         ,ACTION_     => VC_ACTION_       ) ;           This worked on a standard free entry field, but does not work on a referenced field.  Is there any way to do this via script, or will this require a different method to update?  Any thoughts are appreciated.

Hello community,   We are setting up a IFS Connect SFTP Reader, in APP10.  Completed the info required, and market the connector as enabled.  It is suppose that in this version APP10, it is not required to reset the middle server, and it should start to work after setting enabled in the connector setting   There is not any message/ and the connector look like is not working start to work.   How shall we star the connector? is there some missing action?

Can someone tell me what is non part usage disposition?Where to use this concept in our FSM application.One sample data will be good to understand the concept.

As mentioned in the first post, this issue should be solved by doing the sorting in the datasource. https://community.ifs.com/products-all-about-making-and-managing-stuff-40/lobby-chart-in-sort-by-x-axis-1189#post4824 But when I do this, it doesn't work and still it sorts on the amount column instead of the date column.

is there any way where we can add the shortcuts globally for all the users.

Hi. Does anyone have anything that might help me with custom tabs in Aurena? I need to add a custom tab, based on a custom logical unit, into a CRM screen. The LU has been created with a Projection in the EE client, and I’ve created the Projection in Aurena, but I’m not sure what the next step should be or how to get the custom LU to appear as an entity to connect it to the new page. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Ian.

I had been wondering how to insert sticky notes from an api. Sticky notes use two tables: FND_NOTE_BOOK_TAB and FND_NOTE_PAGE_TAB. There is one note book for an object that can have multiple note pages. Each page is connected to the note book via a note_id. To test this I prepared the following: A script to insert a new note book (this is when you don’t have sticky notes yet on an object) A script to insert a new note page based upon the note id as prepared in step 1. Script 1: declare   info_             varchar2(32000) := NULL;   attr_             varchar2(32000) := NULL;   objid_            fnd_note_book.objid%type;   objversion_       fnd_note_book.objversion%type;   lu_name_          fnd_note_book.lu_name%type;   key_ref_          fnd_note_book.key_ref%type; begin   lu_name_ := 'SupplierBlanket';   key_ref_ := 'BLANKET_ORDER=152^';   Client_Sys.Clear_Attr(attr_);   Client_Sys.Add_To_Attr('KEY_REF', key_ref_, attr_);   Client_Sys.Add_To_Attr('LU_NAME', 'SupplierBlanket', attr_);

Via help I have been attempting to use the graphical structure to define positions but within that structure, a position ID is required before it can save.  What am I missing?

Hi, Is there any possibilities to do calculation automatically after leaving the text box. i have two scenario.   In same page,  there are 3 text boxes text1 , text2 , text3. After entered the value in text1, text2 then sum value should display in text3. (I can do this using trigger when they saving. But is there any options avail before saving?) Same as above criteria. But difference is, text1 is avail in different page/custom page and text2,text3 avail in different screen.    Please let me know is there any option to do like this.  Thank you

I have following SQL statement which gives me the right result:   SELECT CASE WHEN PART_NO LIKE '1%' THEN 'A' WHEN PART_NO LIKE '2%' THEN 'B' WHEN PART_NO LIKE '3%' THEN 'C' END PART_TYPE,  MAX(PART_NO) PART_NO FROM PART_CATALOG WHERE (PART_NO LIKE '1%' OR PART_NO LIKE '2%' OR PART_NO LIKE '3%') GROUP BY CASE WHEN PART_NO LIKE '1%' THEN 'A' WHEN PART_NO LIKE '2%' THEN 'B' WHEN PART_NO LIKE '3%' THEN 'C' END   How would this convert to definition of a Lobby Data Source (with view Part_Catalog) regarding Condition and Group By?
