There is a table in the database called gpsdata that logs technicians’ gps coordinates, currently it retains about 3 days worth of gps data per user. We’re wondering if that timeframe is configurable. (We want to extend it to 7 days).Does anyone know if that is configurable within the application?

Hello, I was wondering what the latest patches are for Oracle/IFS These are our current environment patches.  What is the latest Delivery?  What critical patches are required? Can we stay on UDP 14/Delivery 2017? Or should we go ahead and update. Trying to figure out which latest patches are required. Thank you for your help!

Hello, I am struggling to process a Multi-Company Allocation to create an Instant Invoice. I’m not sure what I am missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.I have created the Sales Object and the Customer is properly setup. There’s no data when I run calculation. And I get the below error when I try to create the Invoice: Error message when trying to create invoice from MC Allocation  No data in view calculation. If instead of Instant Invoice I choose CA Voucher, then I have no issues is executing the MC Allocation. The issue is just when I try to do it via Instant Invoice.

Hi All, Assume we have an intersite flow starting from the Purchase Order as this.Internal PO - P100126Internal CO - P10576External PO - P100127 There are two requirements. All changes (Price, Qty, Date, Cancellation) made to internal PO, should be replicated to the other 2 orders. Any changes cannot made to external PO and should not be moved to other orders. Is there any data setup available in the application that allow those two requirements? Thanks in advance.

I would like to make a script to stop FSM mobile users from changing the task status field if they are current in process, or on route on a current task. To change statuses the users use the top left hand corner button to jump to the next status, What would be the best approach to apply this in FSM Mobile (android) 6u24

Hello, I am hoping to understand MRP Action Proposals better. I thought MRP would propose reschedule days for actions, however, there are instances where I see both fields are blank. As an example, I have a part with action proposals for Plan Supply is Past Due and Demand is Past Due. Would the system not propose I move the MRP SOR to make the stock sooner? Would this field be blank, in the event that the proposed move is before today’s date? We do not have availability check enabled for our parts, so a lot of this is self inflicted, I am trying to best understand how to properly use action proposals to make the best planning decision possible. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,In my company we assemble and sell machinery. The machines are configured in the IFS configurator but we have a challenges with adding functions that are pure software. The goal is that the client can choose a software function to the configuration and then this is added to the product structure or the routing to ensure that the software engineers remembers to add the feature during manufacturing. Any ideas on how to do this? BR Thomas

i want  ‘Create Pick List’ on the Quick Order Flow Handling Menu to be visible (or not visible) based on the value of a custom field held against the Customer. Is there a way to achieve this? Initially I was going to remove permission to it, and add in my own custom menu item which called the following code. IF (CUSTOMER_CREDIT_INFO_CFP.Get_Cf$_Credit_Block(objkey_) <> 'Yes') THEN   p1_ := Customer_Order_Transfer_API.Allowed_To_Send(ord_no_, 'ORDRSP');   Customer_Order_Flow_API.Check_All_License_Connected(p1_, ord_no_);   attr_ := 'START_EVENT70ORDER_NO' || ord_no_ || 'END';   Customer_Order_Flow_API.Start_Create_Pick_List__(attr_);   COMMIT; END IF;  These commands are shown in debug console when you create pick list from the QOFH screen, but don’t seem to work when i call them in a procedure. Appreciate any help with the code, or with applying criteria to menu items. TIA. Chris.

Community, We are on APP10/UPD9. We are testing MWO. As we remember in APP9, on Prepare Work Order screen, you have the RMB function to dispath the current work order to mobile, but current in our screen, we cannot find this option anywhere.any idea?Thank you.

Hi,I'm trying to implement a workflow in which I will be giving an error msg if a custom field doesn’t contain a value when a condition met(Customer used conditional fields in APP9 to set mandatory the field as below and trying to achieve same using workflows in cloud since conditional fields are not available in cloud). To achieve this, I have created a validation type workflow as below and when I try to create a document revision using the New document revision assistant I’m getting an error as below(When I try to create a Document Revision using the Document Revision window it’s working as expected). Many thanks for your inputs on this issue.Best regards,Uvini

We are using IFS Cloud version 23R1. On the Manufacturing Labor Class screen, and also on the Manufacturing Labor Classes screen, there is a field called Cost Center Id. See below:  All the values have gone. It used to have options in the drop-down list of available values but the list is empty now. The values we’d like to use are in the system on another screen called Code String Completion. See below: Does anybody know why these codes aren’t showing as options in the Cost Center Id drop down list please?

We have been using BRES for a few months now but it’s been quite slow recently. IFS Apps 10 update 12 (Soon to be Update 19)When we restarted it we noticed 4 reports started straight away but they never finish.BRES LogI found the reports on the BRES Report Queue but I can’t delete them.BRES Report Queue Can anyone tell me how I can clear these reports from the queue?Currently no other reports can run.ThanksPaul

Hello, Currently, there is a field on the Supplier for Purchase Part page called “discount %”. It is set to mandatory from the get-go, but it also automatically defaults to zero, so the mandatory setting is a bit useless since it will never not have a value unless you delete the zero. Is there any way I can remove this zero from defaulting onto the field so we can make sure users are entering the correct value? I would normally create a workflow to do this but since this is before the part is created, it doesn’t seem like it would work. Thanks,Bryan

It looks like we’ve added a new “standard” Document Class to our database.  Now I see that we have INVOICE and DISCO DOC and its definition says it is Attachments related to Historical Record. What historical record is this referring to?  How is it intergrated into the system?  How does it work?ThanksPatrick

Hi All, I was able to successfully POST a new sales group using Postman. Now, I am attempting to achieve the same using a file.Integration API used is follows: This involves placing a JSON file into FTP IN, fetching it through custom routing, and finally directing it to a routing address that calls the same action type projection. When I perform this process in the CORE system, I encounter the following errorExecutionException from Sender thread Caused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: Exception while sending data Caused by: org.json.simple.parser.ParseException: null Have you encountered this issue before?

Hi, We are trying to add a multi-select custom field in MWO but the field only allows for selecting a single value in MWO. The field allows multi-select in Enterprise explorer. Any suggestion on how to make the field multi-select in MWO?

Have you or anyone you know experienced a similar issue? If so, what steps were taken to resolve the problem?

Based on the available information about the intrastat report for FranceI could find the following from Deloitte. It states that a Regime Code should be provided. Problem is that I cannot find back in IFS this code?  (Source: https://www2.deloitte.com/content/dam/Deloitte/be/Documents/tax/Deloitte%20Global%20Tax%20Center%20Europe%20-%20Intrastat%20Guide%2022.pdf)Also in the docs its not stated as mandatory, only thing I can find is the Nature of transaction but that looks different?  Does anyone know how to get IFS to provide a correct intrastat report with the Regime code on it?@Martin Falkenau  @Linda Loeffler
