ORA-20111: SubProject.FND_RECORD_NOT_EXIST: The Sub Project does not exist.

When we add Project_Role_Assignment_RRP in HUB fail with ‘The Sub Project does not exist’ error in satellite, where relevant sub-projects already exist on the Satellites.Any Idea on the reason for the above error message.

Changing a Project group

Can a Project Group be changed after approving the Project? Seems it cannot be directly changed from the Project setup parameters in Aurena

How to build the link to IFS from a custom code that send an email?

Hello IFS community,I have a code that sends an email to an user. From the IFS event, I know that I can create an event that sends an email and even create the link to the page in IFS using the rowkey by clicking “ADD URL” using the action type E_MAIL. See Screenshot 1 for more details about my question.  Screenshot 1- Code used to send the email - Screenshot 2 How could I add to the code (Screenshot 2) the way to generate the URL where the user can click on it from the email received and bring it to IFS, like it will work if I created the event using the IFS event action type E-MAIL (Screenshot1)?Thanks,JL

Project Forecasting - Estimates to Complete

Like a lot of you we are using IFS for managing and maintaining the delivery of our Projects. In IFS we build up the project cost using hours (x number of hours at a set grade = cost to the business) however when we come to do the forecast, either updating the ETC/EAC on the activity line or on a project forecast, the system asks for a monetary value.So, if you’ve got a 200 hour activity made up of 3 different grades and you’ve booked 80 hours in total (a mix of the 3 grades), how do you calculate what the cost to complete is (without using a separate spreadsheet to do the calculations) ?Simple if everything is on track, baseline cost minus actual cost equals cost to complete.Not so simple when you’re are going to need more hours than planned to complete the activity. Currently the only solution I can see is to do the calculations separately to IFS and then input the values into the ETC field, this isn’t an ideal solution and does defeat some of the benefits of having an integrated sol

How to Close a Project

When I search for projects by Status, there is an option for Closed.  However, I  can’t see how to Close a project.  I can mark it complete, but I see no way to close it.  How can I close a project?We are in IFS 10

Unable to publish a custom field due to ORA-20150: COMPILE_ERROR2: Error during compilation of LU [ProjectProgram]

 Customer is on Apps10 UPD15 and is unable to publish custom field on ProjectProgram LU.This works fine in our internal DEV environment, but not the customer’s environment.I have a simple text attribute/persistent field and it results in the following error:ORA-20150: COMPILE_ERROR2: Error during compilation of LU [ProjectProgram]Don’t know if something is wrong or corrupt with the ProjectProgram LU or the customer’s ORACLE version is not parsing the code correctly. Custom field referenced to Custom LU - LOV Search Not enabled

Hi,  We have added a custom LU and custom Page for user to add the Basic data, the same custom LU references to the custom field.  In the Published LU LOV is visible on the respective custom field, but when we go to LOV and Search further for the values, no columns are available for searching in the search dialog box.  we are on IFS10 UPD10.The Search window appears as below.  Are we missing something in the configuration?  Thanks L P Reddy

Error creating Activity "domain index is marked LOADING/FAILED/UNUSABLE"

My problem is similar to this one:Except that it happens when I try to created an Activity in the Project Navigator. If I try the steps described in the link above, it is still not working. Number format in Aurena

When executing a quick report and exporting the result to Excel the numeric field with decimals is interpreted as text, as I default (swedish) have “,” as my decimal separator. How can this be changed in Aurena on Apps 10 U9.

IFS Projects - what is "role" and what is "access"

Hi , for IFS , there are 6 system defined Project Roles ,Project Manager Financially Responsible for a Project Sub Project Manager Financially Responsible per Sub Project Activity Responsible Financially Responsible per Activity OtherBut I cannot find any defination, any desribtion for each role’s permissions.like what can each role do and what cannot do. besides roles , there is another concept called “Project Access” ，with that , we can assign Team , Person to a sub-project .my question is So, if we assign sub-project access to person A , then what he is able to do?only report time?or he can made change to sub project ? eg:add activity, complete activity, complete sub-project(finical project) is there anyone can answer the question?

Missing cost element in Project connections (COL with non-inventory sales part)

We have projects connected to / invoiced via customer orders.The customer order lines in these cases are for non-inventory sales parts / service parts.As the revenue numbers are not like expected (some lines are missing in actual revenue) we did some analysis, and found empty cost element fields in project connections.Question: where can we add a cost element to a non-inventory sales part? a default cost element  called  “Missing Cost element”  for all missing cost elements? Is there any checklist / recommendation, what masterdata is necessary to have correct calculations in a project?Apps 10 Upd 11Thank you for your feedback!Regards Martina

Unfinished Activity Work

Hi all,What causes work to be placed into the unfinished activity work screen?I have checked status and it doesn’t seem related to the status of the project - as new projects in ‘Started’ status don’t appear on the list. Is it related to dates? For example, after a certain activity date any unfinished activity work is placed onto this list. I have checked online documentation but cannot find any info.Thanks,R

Project Invoice Information

Does anyone have any general information re Project Invoice. We have a project which will have numerous transactions to be billed, but it is not connected to a Sales Contract, so Application for Payment>Project Invoice will not be used.Previously we’ve just used Instant Invoices to raise invoices against ad-hoc projects, but wondering if there is a better way to manage this using the Project Invoice function? ‘Create Project Invoice’ only seems to pick up project transactions, not external costs?

How to schedule to IFS send a fila from IFS Server to FTP?

Hello eveyone! I need to schedule a csv file from IFS server to be in FTP address each 2 hours. I already set the Job Migration to create a csv file. And I already set my destination folder in IFS Server.The csv file is being created in the folder that I set. It’s all fine here. Now, I need to send this file to a FTP server each 2 hours. Is there a way to customize this? Thanks a lot for any help!!

Hello,We are using Apps 10, UPD13. Has anyone come across this error?  Do you know how to prevent it?Navigate to original project invoice - status = PostedAuth RMB > Create Correction Invoice RMB on one of the lines for the reinvoice of the line > Project Transaction Change Sales Price from 177 to 124.80 >Save Error - Identical tax codes are not allowed. Project-Connected Shop Order and Planned Costs

It has been some time since I worked with project-connected shop orders, and I am not seeing what I think was always standard behavior.Cloud 22.2.1I created a shop order manually for part M1. This shop order did not originate as miscellaneous demand on a project activity.This shop order has one component and this component is not standard planned.Part M1 has costs in cost set 1 and is Weighted Average / Cost per Lot/Batch.I connected the shop order to a released project activity and the Planned Cost Driver is Connected Objects.I do not see any costs in the Planned Cost column.What setup might I be missing?

IFS Cloud Training Material???

I am desperately trying to find ANY training material for the Project and Contract Management Module for IFS Cloud please?I have referred to the F1 Learning and E-learning but this does not cover in depth the new functionalities included in IFS cloud, nor does it clearly define the process flow and ‘how to’ execute it in the new interface application. I have registered for these classes on IFS Academy however, there is no material available there either. I have asked multiple other consultants who say they are suffering with the same issue. Is there something which I am missing on how to get this?Is there a new policy restricting partners from obtaining this training material OR does it not exist? PLEASE HELP.  Thank you.
