Hello everyone, (Sorry for poor quality img)I´ve run into some issues concering the receiving of serialized parts in the component repair order (CRO) flow. The problem has started to become more frequent and I would like to find the root cause of this issue. Summary of problem: The repair technician wants to close the repair shop order. First, the time of the operation is reported then the reception of the parts should be done.The problem is that an error message appears which signals that we should use the same availability control ID or W/D/R number in the existing stock.We don´t assign different W/D/R numbers currently, and Control ID’s are not common practice in that area of operations. Hello, I would like to setup a Compliance Plan to generate Audits for associates at my company. I’ve setup a test Plan and created and Audit ID. I am able to release the Audit and complete it, but I was under the impression you could schedule Audits to generate automatically. The only option I have found is to Re-Generate Audit on the Closed Audit that is connected to the Compliance Plan. This appears to require manual intervention each time you would like to create a new Audit and assign it to someone from the Audit pool. This solution would not scale well, as there would need to be an individual to generate, assign, and create Focus Areas for each Audit. Is there a step that I have not properly configured to create and generate Audits? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

I am trying to add the link below to Navigation lobby by filtering OrderId = 'ERS' and Objstate = ‘PartiallyDelivered'’. Right now it return all Orderid = ‘ERS’. It does not also filter Objstate. Hi,I need to understand how status ‘In Effect’ and ‘Not In Effect’ work in part revision tab and what is the connection with phase in/out dates?.In the below example, for revision , even though phased out date is 13/2/2023, repair status is ‘In Effect’. Also for revision 5, even though no phased out date is entered , product/repair status is ‘Not In Effect’. Could someone be able to explain please? Also let me know How to identify which is the latest revision we use to manufacture or to purchase inventory parts at the moment?Thank you

Hi,I have a problem, applies to two inventory part:1. If i set the default location SK1-SP when creating a production order sets WK0-SP in the proposed location  2. If i remove the location from inventory part when creating a production order, it sets WK0-SP to the proposed location For other inventory parts, setting up a default location works fine.Does anyone know where else the default location parameter is set?

We are using Apps 10.We are currently reporting floor operations manually. We have highly skewed numbers that are tied to WIP. We continually have a negative balance in our labor expense account. The posting control is set to debit WIP and credit direct labor. Direct labor only is debited when we post payroll, but still remains at a credit balance in the millions.  What is the transaction to move WIP and all associated costs to finished goods? It doesn’t appear to be happening.

How can i delete  unwanted activities from the list of value?

I'm trying to find out if IFS10 is taking in consideration the expiry date (shelflife) of products. Are you currently using that? Is the functionality available in IFS10? Do I have to turn on specific variables to get this going? Thanks in advance, Steve

Hi,  We use Serial tracking for the top level part of multilevel structures for our customer.To do so, we enable At receipt and issue option in Part catalog. When we enable this, Multilevel tracking is by default selected, which is not something we want.==> Is there a way to disable this multilevel option automatic activation ? Regards, Pierre

How can I setup Work bench to show the material needed for Shop orders? We have materials part#s in our product structure that we would like to show in Shop Floor workbench to help nest multiple SO’s for our laser without having to open all the SO’s and make a manual list..  Thank you for any help on this.  Michael 

Hi All, We are mid way through a company by company implementation, which has being focused on European countries(where units of measurement are metric). Our next implementation will be in a USA located manufacturing company where the units of measurement are imperial. Ideally we like to use the same tech classes across the group of companies but we are unsure as to how we could do this in IFS if at all.  We use UoM’s in our tech class’s as well as in the part basic data screens. We are investigating if there is a tool in the system(Apps 9) that we can use that will process the conversions for us. We would like to be able to use the same data that is already in the tech class/part basic data area’s of the system in our US facility. We are looking at the Unit Relationships screen as a possible tool to use, but have not yet explored its functionality. See below screen grab

Hi, how can we easily have a complete overview of DOP costs, line by line? We want to do a quick sanity scan, to see if some costs are not 0 or have a crazy value.In Cloud, we can open the branch but that is not user friendly having 100 lines. Can we export a flat list or something?

Hi,in the inventory part lists screen we have a custom attribute (Owning Department).Is possible to create a lobby page with counter elements per Owning Department?So for example, if there are 5 departments, 5 elements should be presented on the lobby screen.Or do we need to make a separate element per Owning Department and place these on the lobby page?Looking forward to your answer.MfG,Dietmar

Can a Part Certificate be removed from IFS 10? Once it has been generated in a shop order build and received into inventory?I have proved a shop order can be unreceived to break down the parts back into inventory but only if a Part Certificate has not been generated. If certificate has been generated, I get an error saying “this part serial is used by 1 row in another object (part certificate) “

Hi I have a client that has several sites set up in IFSAPP9.  One site is not calculating the MRP on parts.  Other sites are calculating the MRP information for the part.  We have looked in both inventory part and master part for a field that would be stopping the MRP calculation and cannot find anything.  Has anyone come across something similar to this?  

After adjusting the calendar to reflect overtime, re-generating and re-calculating capacity etc, the capacity shows up as available in the APB (see attached picture) but it is impossible to place any load on the time added - no matter if you’re doing a re-scheduling or manual drag-and-drop. If I use the manufacturing visualizer to drag-and-drop, the extra capacity is used so it’s just the APB that isn’t working. Version is App10, upd 13.

Hi,We had a set up like below on our routings. There were 2 operations – first extruding, second packing. As we did not want to report each operation separately so we chose milestone operation - when we reported second operation the first one was automatically reported.As extrusion and packing usually happens parallel we changed the parameter on second operation into parallel. From that moment automatic reporting of previous operation stopped working. To solve the issue we started using ‘Auto report of operation parameter’ when we completed into stock.The problem appears if we add one more operation to above connected to finishing. Hi,  At the moment we build in PPM time on a WorkCentre using resource breaks.  This allows planners to see it in APB but the factory teams have no visibility of it via say workbench.  Is there a way to maybe schedule the associated works order and then make it visibility to the teams on the line? Thanks!
