On release of a customer order, a Pick List is automatically printed. We want to stop the system printing this Pick List only for 1 order type. However, we still want the system to automatically print the invoice and delivery note.

We do not want to make any changes that effect any other Order Types.

How can we configure this behaviour for this order type?

You should set a ‘Stop After’ on at least one event prior to the Print Pick List event. In the setup below, the automatic processes stop after the order is reserved.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the response. We still want the delivery note and invoice to print though. Would your suggestion not stop these events from happening?

In the setup shown above, when the order is released the system will automatically print the order confirmation and reserve the order and then all events stop. When the pick list is created, which is now a manual step as the event before it stopped the process, all events after creating the pick list will process automatically.

You cannot skip past an event or remove an event from the flow.

Hi @harley.wilkie

One alternative around this could be to have it print automatically… but to set the report printer settings to make it’s output set to “no_printout” which just generates it in the system, but doesn’t print it out anywhere.

Thanks,
Bryan

Hi @bdoucette ,

Thanks for the idea. I need it to not print for one Order Type but to still print for all of the rest. I’ve had a thought to adjust the report rules to exclude the Order Type.
