Hi,

Keep the design file (xlsx file) and the dsrd in the same folder. The files names also should be the same. If you have a design file with ABC.xlsx, dsrd file should be ABC.dsrd.gz (or ABC.dsrd depending on the compression state)

Open the xlsx file, it will try to generate the output automatically with the data in the dsrd. If you have any design errors most probably you will get some error messages at this point.

@Voshitha Thank you for your reply.  After installing BR on our report server (BRES location).   On navigating to the error folder and opening the relevant job, clicked on Excel and the report rendered without any issues.  

Can’t work out why they are reporting as errored and put in the folder if there isn’t an issue.  Unless this could be a time out issue of sorts? 

Any ideas?
