In IFS Cloud 23R2,Is there a way to set a leading dollar symbol $ on all amount fields ?Example :  $1,000,000.00 or $10

Tax Localization control center

IFS has asked us to change a value of the Currency Difference on Tax Localization control center parameter. Does anyone know where to find this?The purpose is to rerun Customer Invoices In Error when they are missing posting lines.

Aurena agent, EnumeratePrinters

In IFS Cloud 23R1, we are working on an integration where we want to use the Aurena Agent’s capability to (somehow) get the installed printers from windows. And the standard print dialog does just that, although I cannot figure out how. If I use the same lov and entityset (LogicalPrinterSet for LogicalPrinter) in a custom dialog, only the logical printers registered in IFS appear. Is it possible to use the same Aurena Agent functionality outside the standard print dialog? There is a section in the “Arena agent” documentation about EnumeratePrinters, but it is not marked as tested OK. Trying to use it, there is no error but no result either (tried EnumeratePrinters into a text variable).

Serial Object Location

HiWhen assigning a Serial Object to another Serial Object (as part of an assembly), is there a way of seeing the the Functional Object that the parent Serial Object is assigned to from the child Serial Objects?When sending an engineer to repair a child item of equipment, we need to show its location (Functional Object) in the Work Order screen and prints. I was hoping that the Location in the following SQL would find it but, no, it returns the same parent ID as SUP_MCH_CODEselect   MCH_CODE OBJECT_ID,  MCH_NAME OBJ_DESCRIPTION,  PART_NO,  SERIAL_NO,  SUP_MCH_CODE BELONGS_TO_OBJ_ID,  LOCATION_MCH_CODE LOCATION,  ifsapp.EQUIPMENT_FUNCTIONAL_API.GET_MCH_NAME(contract, location_mch_code) FL_NAME,  OPERATIONAL_STATUSfrom EQUIPMENT_SERIAL_UIV We are using Apps9 SP11

Hello,we have an environment on which  in the instant invoice when we clic on reprint original all is working. But on another environment (we use separates environment with aurena framework version 22.1.9.) we get the message “ORA-20105: InvoiceNumberSeries.FIXEDLENGTH: For the invoice number to start with zeros, the fixed length must be greater than the number of positions in the next value in the invoice number series”.I think we do have a difference between the 2 environments but where ?Thank you for your help.Frédéric

Assigning tags in Project Deliverables

What is the reason that a tag can only be assigned to a deliverable when it’s completed? We engineer our parts and the tag (for us KKS coding ) is known already in engineering phase.No need to buy before we know the tag.We are migrating from IFS 10 to IFS Cloud and shifting to Project Deliverables is mandatory .. but encountering some strange changes here. Anyone ?

Hide Tiles from Dashboard/Home Screen in mWO Service

Hi,Is it possible to Hide the ‘My Misc Allocations’ screen from mWO Service? I’ve tried revoking the Security Group ‘CalendarBasedJobs’ from the Security Grants by Permission Set screen but no luck. Cleared the Security Cache and Refreshed Server Cache as well. Is there any other Security Group related to this screen?  Kind RegardsPriyanka Cecilia

storage zone slow down operation closing

Hello, We use the  putaway zone to prioritize reservations on parts and since this implementation, we have realized that the operation closing with the APPROVE OPERATION button (shopfloor workbench) took ten times longer to execute correctly.After analysis, we saw that the procedure relies on the putaway ranking for each item line in the shop order.  INSERT INTO INVENT_PART_BIN_RANKING_TMP ( CONTRACT, PART_NO, WAREHOUSE_ID,   BAY_ID, TIER_ID, ROW_ID, BIN_ID, RANKING, HANDL_UNIT_RESERVATION_RANKING ) VALUES …… The solution is to delete the storage zone ranking ..but the priority between storage zones no longer work.Can you tell us if there is another solution to prioritize the stock of a part between several storage zone ?  Thanks in advance. Regards.

Hello,I am trying to run TouchApps on test environment(After coming price quote, we will decide to buy or not).I created a Certificate Sign Request(CSR) for IFS-TEST and signed from domain root CA. After that I reconfigure IFS by Installer. New certificate is running with IFS without any problem. Windows Mobile IFS Aurena NotifyMe10 is running well.I am trying to use android Aurena NotifyMe10. I installed root CA ceritificate, IFS-Test and TouchApps Server Certificates on android phone too. I can see IFS-Test login sceen and I can input username and password. After typing credentials its giving an error like that.authorizationexception: {“type”:0,”code”:3,”errordescription”:”network error”}Are there any solution for this problem?

File Share when database cloning

Hi,What happens to File Share when we database clone for example a PROD DB to UAT DB while all the documents are in File Share.I've understood it's a separate file share for each environment in managed cloud. That is, is it taken into account in managed cloud procedures (and what to do in on-prem in that case) or do we find ourselves in a situation where none of the files can be found in UAT as all the file pointers are pointing to PROD File Share which UAT cannot access?If so, any tips on how to get the File Share copied as well and all the pointers updated?

Hello, maybe someone can explain why appears this message <<Attribute acceptedExtensions is not writable on UploadQueue» when opening window “Create Documents” in IFS Cloud.And the function “Upload” doesn’t work.What is missed to create multiple documents in this form?Aurena Agent, Chrom Extention and Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime (from Add-ons) are installed. Thank you beforehand:)

Database task schedule actions do not trigger custom events?

Hello, I currently have a scenario where I have a custom event that triggers upon the insert or update of a row in the REMINDER_PROPOSAL_TAB in IFS Cloud. This works completely fine when creating a reminder proposal, but when creating a reminder proposal the same way, and selecting ‘schedule’ this does not trigger the event action, even though nothing else has changed. Anyone have any idea on why this is the case? I can confirm its not hitting the custom event or the event action, since I left errors in the workflow that the event action is referencing.Thanks,Bryan

Reading dynamic file name format for On Server data migration

The requirement is to read csv file from FTP folder for 'On Server' Data Migration. The file format should be dynamic name (file name concatenated with current date, for example PartMaster_&DATE.csv). But the 'On Server' migration is working with static file name format (PartMaster.csv) but not with dynamic name.  IFS responded that R&D team has identified this as the expected behavior of the IFS Cloud applications and as of now it only allows to write data to a on-server file with the extensions.The import functionality might be included in near future as an enhancement of the application.

How do you use PSO Depots with FSM 6

We would like to use PSO Depots with FSM 6 to have technicians pick up parts for calls but don't know how or if this is even possible.In the PSO Scheduling Concepts - Parts Functional Guide, there is the following blurb which says "Depots are a special type of Activity (with activity_class_id=DEPOT)" but it looks like the activity_class_id for Activities (aka: Tasks) is hard coded to "CALL" in the Metrix.Threesity.Integration dll. From what we see, when GenerateActiviyExportXml is called, it internally calls AddActivtyToXDoc which has the following line, hard coding the activity_class_id to “CALL”:this.AddNodeAndValue(xDocIn, element, "activity_class_id", "CALL");) If PSO Depots are truly Activities with an activity_class_id equalling “DEPOT”, can we use PSO Depots with FSM 6 or is there another way to have technicians directed to pick up parts by the system to be dynamically scheduled for a call? PSO Scheduling Concepts - Parts Functional Guide - Page 6DepotsWhere there are lots of pi

Can I increase the field length of an IFS object table?

Can I increase the field length of an IFS object table, specifically the field in the Scrapping_Cause_Tab, “REJECT_MESSSAGE”? Its length is 35 and we want to increase the field length to 100. Will this cause any issues? Please let me know if there are any options?Thank you,

Receipt PO by amount

Hi, Is there a way to receipt a PO by amount? We have a large number of blanket service PO’s, and the individual invoice amount varies each month. For example we want to be able to receipt £5,468.74 off a £100,000 PO.We are using IFS Cloud. Thanks,Erkan

Users getting kicked out of IFS with error "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"

Hi All, We are having an issue in our IFS environment, Multiple users are randomly getting kicked out of IFS with error “An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host". The users get this error at different screen, when logging in, when navigating to screen and at random places. We are on Apps10 upd18 deployed in IFS managed cloud. Has anyone experienced this issue and was able to resolve it?

Usage of Cloud File Storage Migration Tool for archived Media Items

Cloud File Storage Migration Tool can be used to migrate media items from older releases into Cloud File Storage of IFS Cloud release.But I didn’t find an information that the tool supports archived media items in the source system.Can Cloud File Storage Migration Tool also be used to migrate archived media items even if it’S not documented?If not, what would be a practicable way to migrate archived media items in Apps10 to Cloud File Storage in R24?The volume of media items is extremely big (several TB). Therefore, it’s not an option to first migrate all media items to the Apps 10 database before running the Cloud File Storage Migration Tool.
